Safebound Moving is a well organized scam. They suck you in with a charismatic sales pitch with a fair price. After you pay your deposit they disappear until its time for your move and then a crew comes to load your belongings and tells you the estimate was wrong and you will have to pay additional thousands of dollars to do the move. After an hour of games they give you a price that is higher than original but what can you do? The loading crew showed up at 3pm for a 3000sqft house move and didnt have a big enough truck to take all our belongings and we had to get a u-haul trailer just to get what they left behind. Now at the time of unload, they tell me that it will cost an additional $300 dollars to stack the stuff in a storage unit. Several items were damaged and my custom painted Safe was scratched beyond repair. Both of our outdoor grills were damaged and looked like they were dropped off the truck. If you value your belongings and your money, DO NOT HIRE SAFEBOUND MOVING AND STORAGE!

Jack and his team did a professional job unwrapping, putting together our beds, tables, and distributing boxes to the fitting room. Overall, all of my belongings were treated expertly. Highly recommend them! They were on time, with no hidden fees, no damages.

They gave me a delivery time which totally fit into MY schedule and arrived with my things exactly when promised. I had no damages or missing items and am so happy with all the services I received! What could be more from a move? Highly recommend them!

They moved us from a 1 bedroom apartment into a 2 bedroom condo up two flights of stairs. It was also a scorching day. Despite the obstacles, they maintained a very positive attitude, were extremely friendly, and SO organized! I labeled our moving boxes by room, and they put each box in the correct room! It made unpacking a dream! They did that on their own - I did not even think to request it. Daniels and Castro made our move from FL to SC a huge success! I would hire them again.

Brilliant service all around, from initial website inquiry to delivery of stuff. Booking these guys was very simple and easy. The website was easy to understand with no hidden charges. My driver was also excellent, keeping me informed of collection time, delivery time, and when he was stuck in traffic. I am pleased that I used Safebound Moving. From now onwards, if I ever have to move again, I would move with them.

Great overall experience! Friendly, careful, and nice driver who also moved most of the items. They were also happy to take an extra thing that fitted in the van, really pleased with the service, amiable and professional staff and a good value for money! I will certainly book again if I ever need help with the moves. And would highly recommend it to friends and family.

The workers were fast, efficient, and pleasant. In short, they were very competent and professional, making the experience for me stress-free. The move cost was very competitive, and I knew what the end cost would be right up front. There were no hidden charges. I will use them again for sure. Extremely helpful. I would recommend your company again, for sure.

What a great service! I booked them pretty last minute twice recently, and they were punctual and efficient. The costs were reasonable, and they were careful/diligent in the wrapping and moving of all my stuff. I would recommend them to everyone.

5 stars for David and James! They just completed a whole house move for us. They carefully tied everything down securely so nothing will shift around or fall. They wrapped everything carefully and thoroughly and checked in with me to make sure everything was exactly how I wanted it. They were friendly, smart, caring guys who made a very stressful day go smoothly.

RUN AWAY! An absolutely awful experience.

Safebound not so safe! Where to start?? My wife had contracted the job through Empire moving group based on a agreed upon price. On the day of our move Safebound shows up and tells us we must pay an additional $1207.50. Wow, who are you? Why are you here..? Why such a steep price increase on the day of our move? Presented under duress.... Our furniture was delivered damaged not one set spaired from the entire house. This included a bent leg on the office furniture. A corner missing from Bedroom side table. And mounting bracket for bed completely ripped from its position. Scratched glass on movie theatre set. Dents and scratches on dining room credenza. Just to name a few. The clincher being the lack of delivery of the most expensive item shipped, a television. Where it is no one seems to know? Many phone calls later the majority of which ignored. Not once has management attempted to contact my wife and I. The only information given at this point is that the warehouse guy remembered loading it on the truck. WOW.!!!! When queried on the possibility of involving the police, a rude response was given and subsequently hung up on. P.S when movers arrived for delivery it was suggested additional costs would be required do to second story apartment having a landing. Making it 2 flights instead of one. When asked if the police should be contacted, a rude response was given, followed by being hung up on. Management has promised to look into the matter. Dates had been given as too when a response could be expected. Those dates have passed, not once has management attempted to contact us. Zero missed calls on our end. The delivery date was May 23rd our T.V. is still missing. The only assurance given that it left there warehouse. Included in the cost was reassembly of furniture. Screws left missing and assembled incorrectly. Side note: Upon arrival they tried to say it would be extra money for stairs. Job# x3969158

Staff management is so friendly and professional. My unit was easy to get to and very clean. I have had to move a couple of times in the city, and I have seen my share of storage facilities, and these movers get my vote for the best in the city. I highly recommend them. Thanks!

I was told by Jovanni that my belongings would arrive in 7 to 10 days. We have been waiting 26 days and still no estimate of delivery date. Jovanniâ s estimated cost of the move was about the third of the actual cost. I did a video call showing our belongings. I feel the estimate was deliberately low.to get the contract. I was hung up on twice today. We are thoroughly disgusted with this outfit.

Dont make the same mistake. Our belongings were being moved from nyc to Florida. We were taken advantage of from every angle ending up with our belongings held hostage in Boston by a company we had never heard of ending up in Florida only after the Federal Motor Carrier SA got involved to end the hostage situation. Irreplaceable items arrived damaged/missing and destroyed. We were charge 30% more than quoted to get our items back. Safebound didnt respond to our calls, emails or texts to help. No matter what they tell you, promises, assurances, fancy trucks, storage, etc.. Its all a scam. Do not believe their staff including Matthew, Patric etc.. and of course the owner Philippe. Our overall experience with Safebound was awful: These people get your money and then they become absolutely terrible. And while the staff they send to do packing and loading may be a competent crew (Teddy was very professional), once our items were loaded and in the Safebound warehouse our experience became a nightmare. they wouldnt give us a firm delivery date because they seem to hire independent drivers to transport our belongings from West Palm Beach. And these drivers apparently have their own schedule and didnt care about our belongings. They lost our television and for two weeks couldnt find it even though it was in one of their warehouses. And when we called the office and inquired about it we received the rudest response Ive ever experienced from a business to which I paid money. Just unnecessarily and uncaringly Rude.

I would not give ONE STAR to this company, but I am forced to select a half star to post a review. My husband and I were moving from FL to SD. We paid Safebound $11,024.00 plus $275, to move a pod of personal property from FL to SD. Safebound encourages CSI to drag out claims to discourage them (claim started 10/21/20 and after persistent requests, we got an offer of $147 on 05/18/21). This procedure is designed in bad faith to discourage claims and the offers is accompanied with language suggesting you can disregard the claim anytime. We elected Option 2 with no explanation of the differences (given no time to consider options of the BOL Contract) agreeing to pay 0.60 cent per pound on damaged items. We copiously packed the majority of boxes with paper and bubble wrap, and marked every box with black permanent Sharpie marker delicate property as FRAGILE. The bigger items were packed by the Safebound workers. The pod arrived 7 days later then promised, and the driver charged an unexpected $275 because he stated he could not pull into the side street that Fed-Ex tractor-trailers do all the time. The driver refused to work with us. The driver refused to work with myself the day our items were delivered, that ultimately led to my spouse having to come home from a government job helping our Veterans. CSI denied the claim with no consideration of the pictures of damaged products, using the defense that WE packed the belongings moved. The driver and his assistant seemed upset they had to bring property to the garage, and the boxes and appliances were SLAMMED down on the ground, as well as causing damage to the linoleum (by dragging the dryer which was later concealed) on the bathroom floor of the leased premises. At least one-third of the plastic and cardboard boxes had contents that were damaged, and the new washer is unsellable with massive dents. Thus, the damage that occurred was not from improper packing, but the harsh handling of the property. We sent a letter disputing the findings and demanding $904.60 for the damage to all of our property. In their same discouraging way, CSI reoffered $147 in bad faith with no thought made to the defenses asserted. To pay this amount of money and have one-third of the items damaged is wrong and is bad faith by a company who stands in the shoes of an insurer under F.S. 624.155 (1)(b)(1 and 3). What was supposed to be a seamless move from FL to SD for a job transfer to help our Veterans, has been a nightmare to say the very least. We ended up having to wait almost a MONTH sleeping on an air mattress with a very small amount of our belongings before our items actually arrived. If you are thinking of paying any money for this company, take our words. DONT DO IT! They are not on your side and you will have to do a MAJORITY of the work, including going through the very timely and tedious claims process to be denied or receive a very small amount of compensation, if any for your lifes precious items. EDIT-- I was called by Safebound Moving and Storage. They listened to what I had to say and we agreed on a payment for the damages to my personal property. The claim has been settled and resolved.

The estimate was just a starting point of the cost. One of the packers left a lot of my items out. But the worst experience was with the shuttle service that had to be used in the end. Several items got damaged, the supervisor of that job was rude, a bully, defying covid precautions the Shuttle added extra cost, then I was overcharged extra long carry charges which were not true. I measured it afterward. I can say that the supervisor of the first crew was very nice except for the person who left many items behind.

Safebound is an amazing group and very professional. Their pricing is right on point with everyone in the area, but the quality blows everyone else out of the water. I used them for an office move and a home move and will continue to keep using them moving forward.
