I asked whether they do the moving themselves or contract it My contact, Will Maudlin, simply lied to my face. Day of moving, Royâ s Moving showed up. They worked very hard and efficiently. Only when the goods arrived, on a Sunday, did they tell me I had to pay in cash or they would take my belongings back to the warehouse, several states away. It was extremely difficult and humiliating to get (borrow) that much cash on. Sunday. Then after we pause, we discovered that they didnâ t even move all our belongings. So we had no leverage, and low and behold, it took several weeks, many calls, very few callbacks, before we finally got the remainder of our things. The actual workers were excellent. The business and customer service people put us through an awful and stressful experience. It was awful.

Absolute rip off, unreliable service provider.

The price that was quoted turned out to be highly underquoted when the movers arrived the prices was doble and they asked for $400 in cash before to start we were not told cash will need it at pick up, movers arrive 4 hrs late and the backs were already close, locky we have enough cash. there were two days ship, they agree to have 24 hrs prior but the movers arrive two days airly and he was unable to lodd stuff into the house we need to porches storage facilities many items were missing or broken, boxes were crushed, we reach out customer serves and we have not received a response yet

The final cost was almost $22,000 when I was originally quoted $11,000. This was after I personally packed a moved a 26-foot truckload of furnishings included in original estimate. At the time of giving the estimate I provided a DETAILED list of items to be moved. I asked three different times for the list to be reviewed so the quote could be accurate. At the time of making the moving appointment, I specifically asked if they were a moving company or a broker. I was told that their people would handle the move from beginning to end. Their people packed and loaded but a contractor unloaded and either damaged or did not reassemble numerous items. An executive desk, side return, credenza, and filing cabinet were damaged beyond repair and was left stacked, unassembled, in my office. Our very nice, and expensive, dining room hutch had the top broken off of it. Two valuable antique dressers were scratched on the top and both were left unassembled. One bedroom had all of the furniture stacked in the center and not assembled. A new bedroom dresser had a large scratch on the top. An antique sewing machine has scratches on the top and the side. At office chair has two of the five casters missing. And...two diamond rings, valued at over $2,500, and a crystal decorator piece, valued at over $500 both disappeared during the loading process. My wife was working in the bathroom where her jewelry cabinet was located. She put all of her jewelry of value in a small drawstring clutch bag so she could put them in her luggage. The loaders were working at the other end of the house. My wife went to the kitchen for a few minutes and returned to find the loaders all of a sudden in the bedroom. She picked up the jewelry clutch and put in her luggage. When we are where we were staying while waiting for our furniture we discovered the two rings were missing. Since the crew that packed up was not the same crew that unloaded us, we informed the unloading crew of the theft but they could not do anything about it. This is our fourth long distance move and by far the worst experience we have ever had.

They are a rip off they are scammers. They doubled the price and did not offer any solutions they gave 3 options to me and none of them were acceptable.

The original price was double upon movers arriving, the estimated volume of furniture was 649 cubic feet and upon arrival 1200 cubic feet. So the original estimate was 2997.00 upon arrive 7320.00, then I talked to the office and they lowered the price to 5500. The gentleman that walked in said that he hates when his sales office quotes too low.

We used Safebound Moving and Storage for a recent local move. Our crew consisting of Nahuel (foreman), Maxi, Andres E, Andres P, and Tomas expertly packed all our belongings (we have a lot) and moved them to our new home. I would highly recommend Safebound for your next move.

On 7/20/21, I spoke with a Alex of Empire Moving Group, whom I did a contracted for a move from Miramar, FL (address above) to Hahira, GA (address above). The Estimate Binding Contract for the amount of $4295.00. A payment was requested for the amount of $$1450.00 per Alex to hold the date for the move. A electronic check was done for the payment. The date requested for the move was on July 28, 2021, however per Alex the dates of July 28, 29, 30, 2021 were scheduled. The reason for the three date depends on when the driver is available for the pick up of my items. He stated that someone will contact me the date before to advise when the movers will to provide the service. On 7/27/21, someone contacted me to advise that the /29will be at my residence on 7/28/21, between 9am-12 noon. On 7/28/21, the driver with his two two men crew arrived at 12:45 pm in a undersized Safebound Moving and Storage truck. I advised the driver that the truck would not be able to accommodate my household items. He assured me that he will be able to place all item in the truck that he was driving. At 4:00 pm, the driver and his crew stopped placing items inside the truck and were just sitting around stalling for time. The driver approached me and stated that my items had taken up all the truck space and he reassessed the items that I need to have moved. He advised me that my moving fees had increased. The estimated fees were now $12500.00 and a payment of $5525.00 was requested in an Electronic Check. He contacted his office to advise of the problem. I was informed that another crew would come out tomorrow between 9:00 am - 12noon to pickup the remainder of the items. The Safebound Moving and Storage arrived at 9:00 am on 7/29/21 in a smaller Safebound Moving and Storage Truck. Again, the driver was advised that the moving truck was too small. He informed me that he was told that the larger items had been taken except left and that the movers the day before had been broken down, boxed, wrapped in blankets, bubble wrapped, etc. The driver checked to see what need to be moved and he notice no of items has be prep for moving. Items that were left to take were a new 7ft couch, new love seat, 10ft (6pc) Entertainment Unit, 2 large leather recliners, 5pc solid wood dining table w/chairs, 5pc wooden kitchen table w/chairs. upright small freezer, 10pc California King Bedroom Suite with Designer mirror and mattress only, Large 2pc Armoire, Queen Bed (5pc), 5 drawer chest, television stand and other miscellaneous items. The drivers and his crew movers were able to store all the items in the smaller truck and stated that someone would be coming on the same day to pick up the remainder. He contacted the office to advise of the item that the could store on the truck. We spoke with a April and she stated that someone will arrive around 5:00 pm, however due to HOA policy of no business vehicle allow after 5:00 pm, they had to come on the next day. I inquired about the deliver of my item, due to no one explained the procedure and was advised that someone would contact me to inform me when the delivery will be done. On 8/3/21 at 3:19 pm, someone by the name of Andy text me to state that the driver will be at my new residence on 8/4/21, between the hours of 8:00 am-11:00 am. The payment need to be paid through Zelle or in cash and that the driver will call me 30 minutes before he arrives. He asked me to confirm the text. Confirmation was done. At 11:48 pm, I received another text stating the driver was unable to find my home in his GPS and could I provide address close to my location. I inform the person that this was a new home and I gave him a address near me. On 8/4/21 at approximately 7:40 am, the mover by the name of (I Seiitkhan) call me irate, ranting and being very rude. He said to me, the address that you gave isn't your address. You need to come here and show me where you locate...

They have a very nice person give you a price after a video call and box count but when the foreman comes he jacks up the price over $3,000. After the contract was signed, the salesperson would not return calls. AND Packing was terrible. They remove parts from an item and do not pack them with the item. You have to go through all the boxes to find it. The new leather couch had damage on the arm, several large tubs had tops broken, screws from the dresser mirror AND missing, and the dresser had a piece broken off the corner. The foreman implied I should tip the packers! On the other hand, the driver delivering my things was very professional and did a good job unloading and unpacking things. I would not recommend them! UPDATE: I complained to Safebound about the change in price and was basically told by Su that that happens sometimes that we do not realize how much stuff we have even though there was an actual count of boxes by size and a virtual video of each room. She then stated if I would sign the **Release of Liability** form she would send me the name of their insurance company as well as a check in the amount of $250. This was supposed to appease me for being overcharged over $3,000! Needless to say, I did not sign their release. I find this company both dishonest and dishonorable in overcharging me, a senior citizen, and how many others who were unfortunate enough to believe their sales pitch and hire them.

13 boxes and my 6 foot alum stepladder are missing. How does one lose a 6 ft stepladder? Customer Service said they would check on it. Over a week later and I have heard nothing. Several boxes were smashed with the sides busted open. These boxes were marked Fragile. One missing box was full of very old China pieces over 100 years old.. Two corners of my coffee table are chewed up. They wrapped heavy tape around my TV cabinet which tore off the finish when removed. Now there are large white places on the top that stain will not cover up. A fluorescent light fixture inside my computer armoire is broken beyond repair.

I received an estimate on the phone upon booking my moving date . I knew this was an estimate but was shocked when it was $3000 over the quoted price. I was also informed that I needed to go to an atm and get $300 cash for the movers, who showed up at 9:30 pm. I had no choice but to pay them or they would leave. The older mover was arrogant, rude and condescending. I was glad this part of my move was over but didnâ t know it would get worse. My move in date was delayed longer than a week. Did I get a portion of my payment back because of the inconvenience no only to get a mover who was on his phone and left a young boy to do all the work. Took them forever to complete the job. Worse experience I have had with a moving company. Save yourself the stress and drama and choose a different moving company.

Terrible and in a hurry to leave. Did not put things back together. Put things marked for kitchen in garage. Put heavy items on top of silk plants. Dropped my massage chair. Almost ruined my golf cart. I would never hire them again.

No customer service after the move was booked. Additional surprise charges at pick up and delivery. Delivery was about a week late due to their scheduling mistake.

First day, moving day. From the second the moving crew drove up start this was a disaster. They were aggressive, rude and antagonistic. As a senior/single woman they first made sure I was alone and proceeded to intimidated me. The head crewman, proceeded to extort additional fees, screaming that this was too much furniture ;We cannot move this, you have too much. Now, I would have immediately canceled the move but I had sold my house and had to be out on the 25 of March 2021. I was helpless as I had to vacate the house that day so I had no option but to agree. Much of my furniture is ANTIQUE AND irreplaceable. They moved through the house very quickly like they were in a race and it was impossible to see or watch everything at once. Now to the move-in, which was even worst then the move-out, if that could be possible. All boxes came in damp as if they have been sitting in the humidity for days, boxes squished and destroyed, tape on the boxes curled up wilted, like they had been man-handled. Items coming off the truck on dollies being hurled around with ABSOLUTELY NO CARE, slamming items on the ground racing like they were needed to be elsewhere in a hurry. Again, the men were rude arrogant and did not care that what they were moving were items that I have had in my care for over fifty years - had traveled to different countries had been through five moves and thousands of miles and each time UNTIL NOW, came in, in perfect condition. Observations: 1. Boxes came in all moist 2. Movers were careless and forceful with all items 3. Boxes were thrown on the tile floors 4. Armoire and other furniture not properly prepared to be moved - shelves no taken out left loose scratching and destroying the interior 5. Furniture not packed or contained correctly 6. Items missing or stolen (2 ladders, sewing machine, several large planters) 7. Saw with my own eyes a mover - pick up a large plastic box and dump its contents into a large cardboard box - yes actually dump NOT place actually turn plastic container over and DUMP the contents into a larger box - I saw it, told him to stop and he just laughed. 8. The same mover - SUPPOSEDLY PACKED AN ANTIQUE CLOCK OVER 100 YEARS OLD AND AGAIN DID NOT PACK IT HE DEMOLISHED IT. 9. Movers were mad that I had the amount of merchandise to move and were trying to convince me to throw out items and they could not take it 10. Witnessed movers - throwing items into truck 11. Witnessed movers kicking boxes down the truck 12. Paperwork was not given to me at drop off - I asked for it and mover said he would be right back - then took off 13. Move out was rushed and disorganized - paper work dropped off in the garage (on top of washer) and not given to me after repeated requests 14. Move in - no paperwork was given after repeated requests. After seeing and knowing that several items/boxes were damaged Javier and men ran to the truck and took off So, to recap, I was extorted, lied too, preyed upon and manipulated by a company passing themselves off as movers that are actually demolitionists. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY THEY ARE SCAMMERS AND NEED TO BE REPORTED TO THE AUTHORITIES. BUYER BEWARE!
