I was very satisfied with the work performed. The workers were very professional. The work was completed on time.

went well. identified all the sprinkler heads that have been busted by the landscaping guys. They fixed everything quickly and identified some other potential issues. I only paid for them to do a status check, and tune up of the sprinkler system, so i didn't have them fix the other issues they identified. Be that as it may, for customer service they did fix some smaller things that were obvious problems as they said, "wouldn't feel right to leave you with this" and did a few small jobs. Very good guys, pricing is not necessarily the cheapest - but they are good.

I paid for the tune-up to and they located several issues with my system. I asked that they performed a few extras such as moving and replacing a few sprinklers. They were very professional and I would use them again.

Eddie, arrived promptly for esitmate, suggested best type of plants for locations. gave computerized visual of pending results. itemized estimate, cost of plants and labor reasonable. Lovely results. will use again.

Eddie was great. He gave me a great backyard and installed quickly. He came back for a touch up where I wanted.

Web adjust purchased outhouse and the landscaping was a mess. Eddie came over assessed the situation and came up with ideas to make it look better. His price was reasonable and his staff was great! The SE corner of my backyard doesn't get much sun and had alot of bare spots. I contacted O'Hara Landscape & Maintenance the first week of June 2013. Eddie Weber came to my house and said he would cover the areas with sod, shade tolerant plants and mulch and send me an estimate for the work. The original estimate was for $914 which included 2 additional hrs of labor + $229 (Angies List coupon which includes 8 hrs of labor) = $1143. During the next two weeks I had to ask him several times for a diagram of the proposed work before he finally sent it to me. The diagram he sent didn't show the sod or mulch. I looked up Trinette plants and discovered they require trimming. I have back problems and pay to have my grass cut so I didn't want the plants. I cancelled the plants and the mulch. He sent a revised estimate for $424.00 for 34 pcs of sod, 2 additional hours of labor and a $75 dump fee. I asked him why it still needed 10 hours of labor (8 hrs on Angie's coupon plus 2 add'l hrs) after I cancelled 2/3 of the order (35 (3 gal) plants and 35 bags of mulch)? He said labor was included in the price of the plants and the mulch but not in the sod. Not in the only thing that I ordered! I wanted the sod so I told him to go ahead. On July 1, 2013 he said he needed 1/2 for a down payment, which was fine, and they could deliver it that day. I said that I wasn't going to be home all day and he said that it wasn't necessary for me to be there! When I came home and saw the sod I could not believe it. All the pieces were mostly either yellow grass or white grass. I took pictures which I have included. I know why he said that I didn't have to be there. If I was there I would have told them not to take it off the truck! I couldn't believe it. Not only was the grass mostly dead but they put it on top of and next to carpet grass, pusley and they even had a sprinkler head half covered over. I thought that the 10 hours of labor at least would have removed some of the weeds. I waited for him to come by and see his work so I could express my disapointment. I never saw him. On July 16th he called for the second half of the payment. I asked him to come to the house and he said that he was going to Ft. Lauderdale that morning and would be by that afternoon. I gave him my credit card info and waited all day but he never showed up! He did stop by my house on August 16, 2013 while I was out of town. This was one month after he said that he would be there. I had hoped that the grass might recover but it has not because it was dead to start with. If I took pictures today it would not be much better than when it was installed almost 2 months ago. Total cost to me was $229.00 (Angie's List coupon) + $424.00 (O'Hara's Landscape) = $653.00.

They did great work, I am still using this company.

They did a good job. It did take a long time and they ended up charging me more than what they had quoted me. With the quality of the job, I was willing to overlook it. They did a fantastic job. The pricing was a little disappointing. They did do drawings and we had to submit plans to the homeowners association, so it ended up taking a lot longer than we had planned and it ended up costing $1000 more than what they had quoted me. It did include the tune-up on my irrigation system. The quote was $5500; after the job was done, it did end up being more. I would use them again.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It turned out well. They were courteous, timely and I don't have any complaints. They came out 6 weeks after I purchased the deal.

They were amazing. I love them. I'm trying to switch over to get them to be my regular lawn service providers. I felt that everything they did was fairly well priced.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. I'm still waiting to hear back from them. The last call I had put in was a week ago and he said he would get back to me the next day. My first appointment with him was on a Saturday. He set the time and the day and he never showed up and never called. I was not impressed by it. Then he called me on a Monday afternoon to set another appointment saying he'd had some family emergency. He set the next appointment between 12 and 1, he showed up at 1:30. It was supposed to be for a 1 hour consultation but he spent about 5 minutes with me. It took him about 4-5 days to e-mail me something that was not at all what I'd ask for. About a week or 2 later, he e-mailed me something else that I didn't like at all. I finally called him and told him that I know exactly what I want, I described it to him and he said, "Okay, I'll figure out a price and get right back with you." That was about a week ago. He had 200 reviews and they were all positive. Apparently I'm the bad one in that case. We'll give him the benefit of the doubt, maybe he's busy but it's been dragging on. His advertising was $229 for 8 hours of labor. I'm aware that he's gonna try and usell me and it's gonna cost was more than that but I wanna see what he's going to do for me also. I don't think he's a landscaper, I don't think that he knows what he's doing. The 2 pictures that he sent me was just basically some stuff thrown in together and I was not impressed at all. The price would be okay if he had come through to any of his promises. I would still give him a chance but I'm not impressed. I just want my money back if I don't hear from him after a week.

It was pretty costly, but they did a beautiful job. It was wonderful and I never had any problems. They're very sweet and my grass is growing back. I'd recommend them to anyone.

The technician that came out did a really good job of explaining what was wrong and what he was going to do to fix it.

Joseph the supervisor call me at work in less than one hour that all the work was completed. The new cost with repositioning the sprinklers, changing of the heads etc. was no longer $35.00 but over $350.00. I was taken back how $35 became $350.00. He was told since he was late 2 hours to my home that now he needs to return after I check the work peformed. Joseph demanded payment immediately. He proceeded to harass my son who was home for the money. We had to call our security to have Joseph and helper out of our community. My wife called their office and threatened to call the local police. The woman pleaded her to not involve the police because of their company using illegal immigrants and not bring attention to their business. She also indicated Joseph was very unprofessional and for his harassment there will be no charge. Since then we have received endless calls an texts requesting payment. We were informed by our Gardner that the sprinklers were not placed in the proper locations, there were several broken or non functioning heads and they will not be responsible if our new sod dies. O'hara has refused to return to our home and properly repair our system. They want payment in full for work not completed. I have in text that I am willing to pay in cash 50% and upon completion I will pay the balance. Alex the owner refused my proposal and threaten to place a lean on our home for lack of payment. This is not a way to do business. Now I have new sod dying in areas that were not irrigated properly. If I have to replace the sod and hire another company to perform the job properly I will apply for a judgement against them and have their company investigated by immigration and the state employment agencies. I find it ironic that they can have such high scores after my experiences. Ghost writers for hire make a terrible business appear great. I feel they should be investigated. They give an illusion that they are very large and busy when they are nothing more than Alex the owner Joseph the supervisor an anyone they can fine that day who is willing to work. Your investigation into this matter will be not only personally appreciated but a justice to to others. Since writing this report I have found dead patches of grass, more broken head with water shooting into the sky. I am now questioning if they have assess to my community if they are causing more problems to my home or was their work so poor that whatever they claimed to replace was done with used or reconditioned parts that do not last. This inferior work will guarantee O'hara will always be needed to return to your home for continuous repair and generate monthly income. They are creating their own annunity with your money!!

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. They were great. They were very good, very kind. They had lots of good ideas and they did a good job. They were very nice, they explained things very well and cleaned up after themselves.

It took several weeks to get a response once the "special offer" was purchased. The offer was for 8 hours of lawn maintenance plus a free lawn consultation for $229. I purchased two of these offers for $508. The manager came out over a month after the coupon was purchased and they had been contacted. When the crew of two people came, they worked from about 8:30 a.m. to 3:15 pm and took 30 minutes for lunch. I paid for 16 hours of lawn maintenance They performed 6.25 hours x 2 = 12.5 hours. No follow up call, nobody checked to see if everything had been done the way we had wanted it. They showed up, did their work, and then just left without saying anything to me. The offer was over $28 per hour at 16 hours but with their reduced hours, it worked out to something more like $36 per hour. The work that they actually did was done well. But the slow response time after paying up front for the service plus cutting the promised amount of work hours tarnished this experience.

This was a really bad experience and the manager of the landscaping division couldn't be more unprofessional. I bought this as a big deal and then paid an additional amount for the services to be completed. I would have given the company an overall B rating until the last encounter I had with them. I wanted to be present when the work was done but the manager wanted to schedule on a day when I told him I wouldn't be home. (The work date was canceled once by the company and rescheduled.) He said it wasn't a problem and did not tell me how I would be paying the balance so I expected an invoice would be left for me. It wasn't. So I waited a few days to see if I would receive an invoice via email or snail mail and nothing came. A week after the work was completed I printed out the estimate I had received via email and mailed the remaining balance due with a copy. The check was mailed on June 1 and on June 7 Eddie Weber came to my house (I was out of town) and according to my pet sitter started yelling and pounding on my front door wanting to collect. She tried to tell him it wasn't her business but he wouldn't leave and was very rude. The pet sitter contacted me and I called Eddie. He was sarcastic, condescending and raised his voice to me. This guy has some issues! I was finally able to ask " did you not receive the check? In fact I asked him several times and did not receive an answer because as it turned out he didn't know. I finally told him I would had enough, he could call again only if the check turned up missing. He never contacted me again so I'm assuming the check was in the office and there was an issue with communication between the manager and the office. This was a horribly embarrassing experience and felt I had to explain to my pet sitter that I wasn't a deadbeat! I called the office to complain about his behavior and left a somewhat detailed message on voicemail. My call was returned but I couldn't answer. I called back and got voicemail again (during normal business hours.) I just decided to let the whole bad experience go, it wasn't worth the negative energy and I didn't follow up.

it started off well. the salesman was a gentleman, explained why he chose what he did, show'd us a design that looked nice. we settled on a plan that included removing some plants, transplanting some others, providing a variety of hardy greens, an ornamental tree, sod, an artistic pathway from play house, providing a care manual, use of O'Hara's sprinkler service w/o which plants would go unguaranteed. a 50% deposit was given. the work was done promptly and nicely however before it was finished the balance was asked for and paid. that's when the problems began. the pathway was done incorrectly, some of the sod died, was replaced, and some remained brown, and no care guide was provided. for about 6 weeks my calls were spottily returned, i was told the sod would come around, and i was mistaken about the pathway. to compromise on the issue of the pathway i agreed to purchase the additional stepping stones. then i got an estimate for $280 for labor and materials. this would have included tearing up sod i had alread paid for. i was promised the care guide for the 3rd time today. i was told they'd give me another estimate for the pathway and if i accepted it they would also drop off a few pieces of sod that i could place myself over their dead sod. i have one dying plant which they have not yet acknowledged. in addition two weeks ago i left word that i had bought another A's list certificate, this for their white fly service. that has not even been acknowledged no less have i been contacted for a spraying. does the yard look nice? yes. has the experience been good? No. early on i told the salesman that their are many legitimate excuses for not being able to do something on a timely basis but there were none for not returning calls or answering emails promptly. that lesson was lost on him. because of the unfinished work, broken/late promises the trust factor has been broken. personally i think my property is too far from their base and they don't have enough customers to justify a trip to deal with one customer. If that is the case they should not have accepted the job. landscaping is like a concert. it should be a pleasurable experience with lasting positive impact. this has not been.

Wonderfully!. I never had a sprinkler system before. I had purchased the house in April 2012 and found it didn't work properly. I needed education and Joseph helped me understand how the system worked and what to do. He's very personable and was very patient and understanding with my lack of knowledge. I have used O'Hara for my sprinkler system 2 times since (I had recent landscaping done which required another sprinkler head added and I had to have one moved to a different location). I will continue to use them given the positive experiences. I have more landscaping projects in the works so will need their help! Thanks!

I was not real thrilled with them. He called me back promptly. He came out and we talked for about 30 minutes. Then he came back with a crayon drawing of the yard. I could have done that myself and then he came with some pictures of the yard. He overlaid them with plants and then he said that those would not be the plants that I would get. It was pretty sad and it looked like a two year old had done it. I called them and told them about it and they said that that is what they do for all of their clients. He should probably raise the price, because I did not get much for $99. He was professional before he pulled out the plants. I would not use them in the future.

I called Eddie one half hour before the appointed time and he informed me they were not coming due to the rain. At that time it had not rained for days and he never called to reschedule. And so it began.... The work performed was sub par. I had requested a lot of pruning of large shrubs. Instead of clean cuts, branches are shredded. The largest hedge was left in horrible condition. And they tried to leave early. Yes, 9 to 1 would be 8 man hours, (2 men). But they showed up at 9:30 and took a full half hour for lunch. I could go on, but you get the point.

I used their service last January. They have a super busy time and they couldn't get to me faster so they were inconsistent on rescheduling. They came out and did a good job. I did paid an extra charge for the additional services they did and their was a fair amount of work needed to be done to get the sprinkler function the way it was suppose to. Once it connected and got going they were very thorough, very attentive to getting it done and it took 5 to 6 hours to get the whole thing done. Once they got going they went but the biggest problem I had with them is getting to return my calls way back at the beginning. One of the guys that I was trying to get a hold off that was suppose to be the contact person he was just so freaking busy and couldn't get with all the calls but once we got together everything was good but as far as the work they preformed they did a very good job.

I purchased a Big deal for O'Hara Services. I had them come out and inspect the sprinkler system for the upcoming season. They did a fine job.
