Whilst we were very happy with the stone installation, we were extremely unhappy with the wood floor. First of all, Lou mis-measured the floor and ran out of wood during the install setting the project on hold till more wood came in. He did pay for the extra wood, but to be honest we had to keep calling him as he did seem to want to drag his feet somewhat. Secondly the workmanship was shabby - there were gaps between the planks of wood, corners were not cut properly, nails were left sticking out. Also, they left an unbelievable amount of adhesive residue on the floor which took myself two hours to remove with goof off.
Since ProSource recommended Lou Scandurra, I went back to them to help me get my floor fixed. Lou would not contact me again, despite repeated attempts to make him do so by ProSource. ProSource tried to absolve themselves of any wrongdoing, but since their sales associate had recommended Lou in writing (by email), they were forced to help. Also my threat to take my complaint to the web also seemed to help. They paid for and got us a box of wood so the new contractor we found could replace some of the planks (Lou took all of the extra wood with him, leaving us with no spare). They also cut us a check for the $300 the second contractor charged to fix the floor (North County Flooring - we were extremely happy with their work). It took a very long time (several months) and much emailing on our part to get both the extra wood, and to get reimbursed for the extra work, but at least we got it eventually.
I would not use Lou Scandurra again, and certainly would not recommend him to anyone else.

They are very professional, punctual, efficient, and honest. I would definitely recommend them to others.
