I bought the maintenance package. Their service department is very, very good. I never have to wait too long. They do everything that needs to be done. I think they are honest. They don't say you need something when you don't.

I bought the car at Sutherlin but drive to Stuart for servicing at another dealership. I was so royally screwed by this dealership I wouldn't let these deceitful thieves get within a 100 yards of this car ever again.

Worst possible outcome! I have never been so obviously screwed over. When you read this you may not even Believe it's true. SUTHERN NISSAN really dosn't care if your happy or not. Before telling me how horrible the financing options were they asked for me to give a down payment, of 3,000 without option of refund. Seriously a sales man asked me to sign a blank sheet he wrote on after I gave them the down payment. And said "do you understand your down payment is not refundable." After I already gave them the money, and before the financing papers were even printed. I hadn't even saw the terms of the financing they had. Of parse I didn't sign it but I don't see what it would have changed if I had. I just starred at the sales man thinking to myself is he going to start laughing and say got ya. But he kept a serious face. Eager to damage you and your family's financial stability, Absolutely no consideration for your wellbeing. I was confused because I was expecting far better. That's not the end when I finally made it to the financing guy more issues. They wanted to charge me over 700 with various tag and registration fees when they were aware I already had a tag at the dmv under my name. When I explained that to him he promised to make it right. I'm waiting for a check. he promised to refund what he unlawfully charged me for. But now I realize it was yet another lie!

The ensuing couple of lines are being added since my initial review and the dealer's response - I cannot, in good conscience, let their words go unchallenged. Their response is self serving and filled with misrepresentations and flat-out lies. This dealership is something else! I had signed up online for a "True Car" price on a particular Nissan model and stopped at the dealership to check out the car. Not intending to buy that day, I didn't bring the "True Car" printout with me, but clearly explained to the young salesman that I was interested in the car with the specific VIN number that matched the advertised price. As discussion proceeded at the dealership a "sales manager" joined in and after some deliberation offered me a price that included my trade-in. The deal was well above the "True Car" price, but without the printout I wasn't sure to the exact extent. A new deal was proffered and I accepted, believing assurances I was getting the True Car price. To make a long story short, I allowed myself to be duped. I know full well one should be on guard when negotiating for a car but I let my guard down. I bought the car with the "True Car" vehicle identification number but subsequently found out that I had been overcharged by at least $1,200 over the True Car price. I got a cheerful congratulatory email from the dealership after the sale urging me to contact if I had any complaints. I called and left several messages for the General Manager but my calls were never returned. What can you do? this group embodies all the worst things you've ever heard about sleazy car sales. Keep that in mind if you walk through their doors. Better yet, avoid them.

We are always very disappointed to discover a customer that feels that they were treated less than fairly or that poor sales practices where used during the purchase of any new or certified pre-owned vehicle from our dealership. We have a history of being an industry leader in the automotive market place and this history spans nearly three decades as one of the largest privately held and family owned and operated Nissan dealerships in the southeast. That being said, we would like to express our position and learn more on how we can best assist everyone feeling good about the outcome of [member’s name removed] complaint. To validate the e-pricing offered by TrueCar at a certified Nissan dealership, such as Sutherlin Nissan Vero Beach, items 1, 2 and 3 explain the process for receiving and qualifying for TrueCar E-pricing and Savings; (1) Check for accuracy, (2) Present the certificate upon arrival to a certified TrueCar Member Services Representative (Aaron D’Amico – see contact information and picture) and (3) if the certificate has been forgotten, use the member s link to access the certificate upon arrival at the dealership. [member’s name removed] did none of the above. A certified bar code and validation requirement is clearly printed on the front of the certificate to scan and acknowledge the savings guarantee and is even further explained on the “Terms and Conditions” page found attached to every TrueCar Savings Certificate. That said, we have tried twice to ask [member’s name removed] to return so we can clarify his purchase agreement and to make an offer of apology through an act of good faith. For example, we would be willing to pay for the next two years of maintenance on his new Sutherlin Nissan. We are not without understanding, but do not feel our actions or subsequent purchase by [member’s name removed] is entitled to financial compensation for a contractual purchase whereby [member’s name removed] had numerous opportunities to walk away from the purchase agreement and/or to refuse delivery of his new Nissan from Sutherlin Nissan. The purchase did not take place without a clear step-by-step explanation of his purchase or the purchase price along with his signature at each step of the process. This is well documented. Please contact us if we can address this matter further. We look forward to your response.
