lCalled the Overhead Door Company of Tampa Bay, 7701 Ann Ballard Road, Tampa, Fl 33634 (813-885-3667) for an estimate on a new garage door. Doug came out and took his time going over everything with me about the type of door that would be installed, the insulation, the price of the door and the inspection that would follow. He makes you feel comfortable about doing business with this company, he knows you are spending a lot of money and wants you to know what you are getting for your investment. He gave me the office phone number and our point of contact there which was a lady named Valerie. Valerie called and we set up an installation date of 5 July 12, she was very pleasent to talk to and said to call her if we had any questions. The installer showed up the morning of the 5th and my wife said he went right to work. When he was done he helped my wife program the door openers and took away all the parts of the old door. I called the inspectors office as instructed by Doug and made arrangements for the inspection. The inspector came out the next day around 10am, he complemented the work and said it looked fine. My wife and I are very pleased with this company and the people in it. We are looking forward to many years of enjoying our new door!

This morning my garage door would not open. After unsuccessfully trying to manually raise the door, I called Overhead Door Co based on the Angie's List reviews. The person who took my call (at 8:02am) walked me through a 30 second trouble shooting that quickly identified that one of my springs was broken. It was easy to see because one of the springs was in 2 pieces while the other spring was intact. She scheduled a repair for afternoon, and said the repair man would call me. Rod called at about 1pm and said he was on his way. Shortly after that he arrived, and it took him less than an hour to replace the springs. I replaced both springs as it seemed like a good idea and there was a discount for doing the second one. Rod is a man of few words and got the job done quickly. I would recommend them and would use them again, but hopefully I won't need to.

The person who came to fix the belt was very nice. He did a good job and didn't leave a mess. The overall experience was excellent. He was punctual, responsive, and professional. I would rcommend him.

We contacted Overhead Door of Tampa Bay due to the overwhelmingly positive feedback on Angie's list. The tension spring on our two-door garage door had broken and thus needed replacement. We arranged for a technician to come out at 8:00AM the following Friday. Prior to that, Overhead Door sent us an e-mail with photos and other information on their installers; an unexpected but welcome surprise. The technician showed up within 5 minutes of the arranged time. Although not overly talkative, he was very professional and completed the job quickly and to our 100% satisfaction. The price for the job performed, especially considering he had a 1 hour transport time to our house, was more than fair. When we are ready to replace our garage doors, we will definitely be using these guys.

Very punctual. Left the office a message on 12/26 (they were closed for the holiday) but they returned my call at 8am the following day when they re-opened. They let me pick the date and time and what impressed me most was that they also sent me an email that contained the name and a recent photo of the installer who would be coming by my house so I knew who to expect. I've never had that level of service before. The installer (Rod) called when he was 45 minutes away and showed up on time, worked quickly and was very professional.

Our garage door would not stay closed and would automatically open back up. I called the manufacturer who gave me several numbers to call, including Overhead Door Co. I checked Overhead Door Co. out on Angie's List and called. They gave me the cost for a service call and mentioned the same possible problem that the manufacturer told us it could be.They came out the next morning on schedule. Rod checked out the Down Limit Switch, but did not see a problem. He figured out that the beam of light was too close to the garage door and was causing the garage door to open back up. He made a simple adjustment and it works. He believe the initial installation was not put in correctly. Rod was very professional and located the problem immediately. He did a great job.

I am very satisfied with the work from Overhead Doors of Tampa Bay. Doug was puntual and very pacient answering all my question. The technician was puntual and very profecional; In a hot and humid Florida, day he worked non stop removing the old door and installing the new one.

Our garage door opener stopped working suddenly. I called Overhead Door; the phone was answered before the first ring had ended! We had a representative (Ron) at our home that same afternoon to assess the problem. He was prompt, professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. He determined the problem, and made arrangements to come back in 2 days to complete the repair. He was here exactly when he said he would be, and we are very happy with their service. I would recommend Overhead Door to anyone needing any kind of garage door service.

Overhead Door Company had a worker on site within an hour of my call. He repaired the cable and replaced the brackets. He pointed out where the door had not been installed correctly, and repaired that. He performed the work quickly. The entire repair took less than an hour and the price was very reasonable and exactly as estimated on the phone. Superior service, and a very quick response!

Great communication in date/time of service. Good selection choice. Their original estimate did not take into account that a beam would obstruct the auto-opener, but the company provided an upgraded opener for no additional charge. Keyless entry pad was also included at no extra charge. Service personnel were professional and polite and left work area clean and in order. Would recommend them in the future.

It went great! I called about 4:00 pm when I got home. They had someone out at 10:00 am the next day. Did a great job. They always come fast, do a great job, then give a fair price. GREAT COMPANY!!

The technician very efficiently replaced the broken spring,and tested and reprogramed the remotes. He cleaned up the debris from the removal of the broken spring, and left the garage immaculate.

The installation want well. Except for one panel hat was damaged in shipment. I didn't notice the damage and the service tech pointed it out to me. He said he would install the dinged panel, but bring out and install a new one later. And they did. A month later the opener was badly out of adjustment. They sent some out, and they re-adjusted. He complained the original tech messed up. No problems since. No complaints at all, any problems, they promptly corrected.

We called about four or five businesses, including a big chain, and Overhead door company offered us the best price (only a couple of dollars less than the nearest competitor) so we decided to use them. they gave us a time in the afternoon on the next day and then called that morning to see if their service representative could come earlier which we were very happy about. The job was done quickly and professionally, and when it was all over with we were charged a bit less than the quoted price. Our door still works as would be expected and we would use them again.

The job they did wasn't great, we had problems with the gate after it was installed. We continued to work with them until the warranty had expired, then hired another company to finish their job.

Chose from Angies list all went as planned.

After inspection and maintenance, tech reported what he had accomplished and results of his work. Advised on replacing old worn parts of door-lift which we did. Tech did a great job. Would recommend service to others.
