Rossi Construction

Within a couple of weeks, the drywall cracked. I didn't want anything to do with them after that because it happened within weeks. They hurried. They were never on time in the mornings. They hurried so much that my husband who has a little bit of knowledge in this process said that that's why the drywall cracked. They just did a poor hurried job. I didn't get my monies worth. They looked professional when they came out to give us the estimate.

Passed on using this contractor. They were not Not accommodating to homeowners schedule. I requested a late afternoon/early evening appt-which he wouldn't do. Other contractors within Angies list are much more willing to work around the customer's schedule than this one.

They were very professional. Quoted us a time frame and they were exact on the time frame. The were very clean as they cleaned up every night. Any questions I had they were very helpful. Overall a great experience. We plan on using them again if we decide to redo our bathrooms. The kitchen came out very nice and we are very happy with it.

Jason Rossi was punctual when he came to our house for the initial meeting. He explained what needed to be done and how long it would take. I had put off having any work done at my house because of the horror stories I'd heard from other people about contractors and our first meeting made me feel at ease. A few days before the start of my project Jason came back with the project supervisor to go over the job details. Rossi Construction's employees were very nice and respectful of me and my property. I was very impressed with their professionalism. They made sure to clean each evening before they left, which was important to me. Any concerns I had during the project were addressed right away. We are extremely pleased with the result and will make sure to call Rossi Construction for our next project.

The person that came to provide the bid was on time and very professional. We walked through the house and explained the renovation project. He took copious notes, measured everything, and took lots of pictures. He left us with a spiffy packet containing information about the company and told us we'd be hearing back from them within a week with the bid. Crickets... We never heard back from them. Not even a phone call to say, "We can't bid on your project." I can't comment on the quality of their work, but their customer service leaves a lot to be desired. Apparently they didn't need our job.

On March 17, 2015 I informed Rossi that all the outdoor wood facia of our addition and only the white painted wood that was added to our home by Rossi Construction was riddled with mold. On March 17th Jason Rossi promised that he would have someone look at the damage. After a month with no one getting back to us on April 17th I contacted Rossi again. On April 17th Jason Rossi told me "According to Joe the mold looks to be growing on the paint and not through the wood. This appears to be a manufacturers defect in the product (paint). It will require the soffits to be pressure washed and re-painted with a different product.According to our agreement any warranty related issues that are a result in manufacturers defects will be corrected and a charge for the labor applies." On April 20th I requested Rossi provide me with the defective manufacturers product (paint) information. I want all the moldy wood replaced and the new wood painted. Also I want the house tested for mold for spread.

I was recommended Rossi from a friend that used them for their own bathroom remodel and they gave great reviews. I got a few estimates and they were middle of the road. I chose them in the end because of the recommendation. Ben was the sales person that came out and the first impression. He did not appear to be very engaged and interested in selling his product but I knew he would not be the one doing the work. So because of the great referral I chose them. I told him we wanted to have the work done while we were on vacation. He was very agreeable and positive they could have it almost complete by the time we returned. We left on the 20th. Aug. They said they would start the following Tuesday but didn't begin until Wednesday. Not only did they start later than promised they forgot to have us sign commencement paperwork (could be the wrong term) but they had to get that pushed through after starting late. When we returned, the 31st of August the plumbing wasn't inspected because there was an issue with the plumbing---nothing Rossi did, its an old house. Because I work from home and that is our only bathroom it was important to have the majority of the work done. I understand that an estimated time of completion is just that, but the countertop, although picked out was not cut and ready for installation until mid September. NOW GEORGE AND IAN THAT ACTUALLY DID THE WORK--PHENOMINAL!!! They were courteous, communicative clean, courteous. And WOW the bathroom looks great!!!!!! The work was top notch. So the end result was awesome. Ben seemed disengaged. George and Ian--especially George--very personable, knowledgeable, and ethical saved the review by giving them a B. Thank you George. Rossi, George is great for your company. *** I WILL ADD THAT THE TILE WAS A SPECIAL ORDER THAT DOUBLE NEEDED AT LEAST WAS ORDERED. I CANNOT RETURN THAT TILE AND I QUESTION THE HEAVILY WHY THEY OVER ORDERED BY DOUBLE OF WHAT WE NEEDED. HAD I NOT NOTICED THE EXTRA TILE THEY WOULD HAVE TAKEN THAT TILE. I question that but cannot prove that was intentional. I will in the future pay closer attention to that detail in future home improvements. I am not certain I would refer them or use them in the future.

The project turned out amazing. From the beginning, Jason Rossi listened to all our concerns and offered solutions to problems we did not anticipate. The bid and contract phase went smoothly. Jason came to the house three times to make sure that we received the correct bid and everything was accounted for in the contract. We picked out the materials for the job and Rossi Construction worked with the suppliers to make sure everything was taken care of and delivered timely. When the work commenced, the workers were punctual, courteous and diligent. They spent extra time to make sure all the small details were addressed. The workmanship was unbelievable. Attention to detail was done with every element of the bathroom. Overall we are extremely pleased with how everything turned out. We will definitely be contacting Rossi Construction for any other remodeling jobs.

The owner is named Jason Rossi and he is a true professional and honest guy. Kept the price the same as quoted. Timeline stayed very close to date. I had some settling issues and called them to fill in some drywall cracks and paint and he sent his guys out right away to fix...this was after the one year warranty was over and they didn't charge me. During the project...His guys broke one price of a big expensive chandelier and since we couldn't find the same one he cut a check for a $1000 to replace. He did work hard to find the same one since my wife loved it but they stopped making it so we were out of luck. It was an honest mistake how it was broken and they took responsibility and you cant ask for much more than that. I am a perfectionist and notice every little thing and his team was on it. His lead guy was sometimes late or no shows some days over the 8-10 weeks that it took but I didn't want to call Jason as it got done and his guys were doing good work. His lead guy is a perfectionist (outside of punctuality and only a few times). They put up plastic everywhere to keep dust contained, very meticulous with trim work and paint. They were probably juggling multiple jobs which is why they were late or no-show some days but I was willing to deal with it since they were so respectful of my house during such a big project in the middle of my atrium. We have small children and they cleaned up every day to ensure everyone was safe. Jason never came by to see the work which was fine since his guys were competent. However, he was very available if I needed him or if I had questions. In the construction industry it is hard to find such competence and business acumen. If I were him, I would have came around bit more often as they did really nice work and he had much to be proud of. However, he set the expectation up front that his lead guy would be the project manger and that was fine with me. He surrounds himself with smart people who do good work so he can depend on them to perform. I will call him first for my next project of adding another addition or anything i need done. He wasn't the most inexpensive but the price was fair and was worth paying to deal with a professional. I highly recommend Rossi.

Unfortunately, the work we requested was much more than we were willing to spend at the time. We may revise our remodel options and have them give us another estimate.

From the start to the finish, they were very polite, clean, organized and professional. Steve, the construction lead ,made sure all of my concerns were immediately addressed . He showed me the engineered drawings, and carefully explained what they were doing, how and why. There were no ugly surprises. All the work came in as budgeted and on time. The quality of the work was top notch. I would highly recommend this company to anyone in need of home improvement or repair. My thanks to everyone at Rossi Construction!

The Rossi team was very professional. The work was done within the time limit specified. It came out better than I anticipated. I am very happy with the job and with Rossi Construction. I would recommend them to friends (and did!).

They came in, worked over night two nights in a row, so we didn't have to close down during day. Very professional. Would highly recommend. Reasonably priced.

I had called Jason about a year or two prior to working with him. My husband and I decided not to proceed with the project at that time, but Jason had made an impression on me. For this project I compiled several quotes before calling Jason. His written quote was thorough, clear and fair. We decided to use his service. We met again with the project manager to go over the scope of work and check if I wanted to add anything else. The work started and Joe made some valuable suggestion on moving a light over the refrigerator and separating the pendant lights from the top hat lights. I emailed Jason and the next day the change order was confirmed and implemented. I truly appreciated that everyday the area was picked up and clean. The dust couldn't be helped. All the debris was carried away and the cabinets were covered. They would of covered the floor as well but they knew that it was being replaced.

After drawing, plans & permits; the Rossi crew was super fast at constructing our huge pergola.They were professional and kept the worksite clean. Their workmanship was very good and the structure is super solid. It was an expensive project for what this is, but they worked with us to get some costs down from the original proposal. We would use them again for future projects.

We got a quote from Rossi Construction, everybody that gave us quotes from Angie's List were all very, very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions and I had no problems with anybody. We just decided to end up selling our property within a year instead of remodeling. We were going to put like a mother-in-law suite in to just give us some extra room and they were very helpful as far as what would be right for me and work with the house and answered a lot of questions and we just decided that it was too involved to do it. They gave the quote on the same day or within 24 hours and everybody that gave us the quotes were all very professional. I would use them again. They answered all our questions to make us realize what was best for us and they all agreed to the point, it was like, we could do the work but actually I don't think it's a good idea for you. They were very professional and very punctual in both answering questions and getting the quote back to us.

It is impossible to tell that it is the same house I purchased. I love how it turned out! Rossi did everything required to bring the house up to Florida code and of course, passed all inspections with flying colors. I even had the inspector comment on how well the construction was done. Rossi had to clean up damage from mold in almost every room of the house, and then rebuild the walls with new studs and sheetrock. There were fake walls on the outside of the house, and literally no slab floor in the master bedroom, master bath or living room. Rossi had new slabs installed, and rebuilt the outside to include new studs, plywood, insulation, tyvek and stucco. The master bath floor was literally held up with foam and one inch concrete block, so Rossi had to gut the entire bathroom and literally rebuild. The workmanship by Rossi is extraordinary! I have actually had strangers knock on my door and ask me if I would like to sell, just from the incredible workmanship on the outside and resulting curb appeal.

Rossi was recommended to me by other web sites first. Once I saw they were also highly rated by Angie's List I gave them a call to provide an estimate. They were punctual, very professional, helpful...but were the highest of all the estimates I received. I ended up using another contractor that was rated just as high on Angie's List, but was approximately $6,000 cheaper.

The experience with Rossi Construction was amazing. I would do this again in a heartbeat. His workers J and S were so great too. They became family by the end of the experience. Each day they cleaned up after the work they did, they respected my carpet, wood floors etc. by covering them with drop cloths and taking out the garbage each day. They made the construction which can be a real mess, easier to live in by their respect. They also included me in decisions when things came up, so that I felt they were making this remodel personal and I would be happy. Truly they are the hardest workers I have ever seen. They don't waste a minute....continually working. They made me love my home again. I am so proud to have people over to my home now because it is so beautiful....Thank you Jason and crew.

Rossi has a very professional and quality team. There was only one issue, but it was immediately addressed at no additional cost to me. The cost of the repairs were somewhat higher than other quotes; however, they addressed all of the actual damages expertly where the others quoting for the service did not. By this, I'm sure my final quote and actual payment to Rossi ended up being less than the others due to Rossi's accuracy of seeing everything that needed to be done and quoting accurately. I am very satisfied with their service and so glad that I chose them.

Jason and team were very easy to work with and went out of their way to accommodate my schedule. The project started as scheduled and finished on time and within the original budget. The scope of the project was to demo existing cabinetry, fixtures, shower, tub enclosure. They did an excellent job reconstructing the new shower with tile and installation of new cabinets, fixtures, countertops etc. The quality of their work, timeliness and professionalism far exceeded my expectations. My next project will be remodel of my kitchen and Rossi will be the contractor that I call first.

The initial visit and quote went very well.
