Description of Work: The Orkin technician,the face of the company,is extremely knowledgeable, professional, and accommodating, with scheduling and the occasional insect intrusion.Our house is treated alternates inside/outside every other month with a light product that does not effect my breathing indoors.And yes the treatment outside does go up to the eves on the first floor and takes care of bee or spider webs, etc. on our second floor. We have been Orkin customers for twenty-five years and have had ant problems twice, both times handled very well with successful results.We definitely would recommend Orkin Exterminating Co.

Description of Work: Monthly pest control. We have used Orkin Pest Contol for a couple of years or so and I have just cancelled my contract. This company is so overpriced compared to the rest of the market. When I called to cancel the contract three weeks ago, the customer service representative told me that she would have the manager call me to discuss my plan. He never called, but my pest contol guy called to find out what the problem was. When I told him their prices were too high and I didn't want to have to have monthly service (but would rather have annual or bi-annual service), he said we were already getting the lowest price, but he would check with his manager and call me back. That was three weeks ago and I never heard back from him. I then called about two weeks ago and left a vm on the customer service line to cancel my contract because the cost was too high. Not only was my contract not cancelled or the price not lowered, but I get a bill in today's mail for next month's service with a rate INCREASE. This increase was put in place without anyone even notifying me. I called an spoke to customer service and cancelled my contract once and for all. I am going with an Angie's List recommendation next time. I would never recomend Orkin to anyone.

Description of Work: Orkin sprays our home inside and out every 2 months. Staff is very professional. We have had this service for many years. We recently checked prices at other companies, and this is the going rate. The cost of this service had been higher but they lowered the rate so it is now more competitive. We did NOT use Orkin for dry wood termite spraying as we found another provider on Angie's List more reasonable in price.
