Simply put, if you want a high-quality pool, installed in a reasonable time you will not regret going with Larsen’s Pool and Spa. We started looking for a pool builder in mid-2021. My wife returned to Tampa on a business trip and her row mate was from Brandon Fl and raved about her experience with Larsen’s. We talked with four pool companies and were most impressed with Larsen’s proposals. They were candid about issues with shutdowns and supply chain problems but were estimating about half the construction time of the other companies. The design process went smoothly, and the designer (Jeff) made several good suggestions. We loved the final look of the pool and lanai. Good relations with the county building department seems to have eased the building permits and the dig began in mid-December just two months after signing the contract. Though Larsen’s estimate was 120 days for completion, we were filling the finished pool just 90 days after the dig. Admittedly our pool did not have water features or a spa so it wasn’t complicated but that is a remarkable accomplishment considering most companies were estimating a year to complete. The construction went smoothly, and we saw Reid, the construction lead, at least every other week and he was very willing to answer our questions about the construction process and overall progress. We were also impressed with the subcontractors Larsen’s uses. They did excellent work, quickly corrected problems, and cleaned up after each phase of the job. That contrasts with other pools in the neighborhood which have prolonged periods with construction residue sitting in yards. Finally, Justin and Mike got the equipment running, the pool chemistry balanced and helped us learn how to manage the systems. Both were extremely helpful in getting pool novices up to speed.

Installing a pool in today's market can be a very scary prospect. We met with Larsen's Pools and knew they were the right pool company for us. From the design through construction the communication has been outstanding. All of the trades were timely and very respectable. We had no unexpected delays and the construction process went smoothly. I would highly recommend Larsen's for anyone who is thinking of installing a pool.

We recently had our pool done with Larsen's and had a great experience from start to finish. We actually had started off with a different pool contractor who could not complete the job, but we had received our permit. We went to Larsen's and they were able to process a change request to utilize the permit and design the pool around what was approved. From the very beginning the entire experience was first class. They made a number of design suggestions that were not an incremental expense but significantly improved the layout. Our project manager Brooks was fantastic as well and kept us updated every step of the way. We would highly recommend Larsen's to anyone looking for a pool.

As first time pool owners, we wanted to talk to everyone we could and everything kept leading back to Larsen’s Pool & Spa. Our initial contact was with Dan, before COVID. He showed up, answered all our questions and was extremely patient, even when we decided to wait. During COVID we called Dan again and when he showed up it was like we never skipped a beat. Dan led us through the entire process and even spent a Saturday morning with us finalizing everything. It was smooth. Our project manager Reid led the way, managing each contractor with ease and answered all our (first timer) questions. Reid made sure even the littlest issue was taken care of and explained why certain things had to be done they way they were. Remember, first time pool owners with a lot of questions. Once the build was complete he turned everything over to Justin and Mike, and let me tell you, these two—above and beyond. If they were in the area, they stopped by. They answered frantic texts at 8:30pm and Justin even answer texts while on vacation. From start to finish, we never felt like we didn’t know what was going on and that was very important to us. We highly recommend Larsen's Pool and Spa to anyone. Our journey in adding a swimming pool to our home began in 2021 with carefully reading a multitude of reviews on various pool builders available to us. Once we narrowed our search we sought the BBB ratings for the two remaining companies. Larsen's Pool and Spa had a stellar rating with only one complaint in 3 years (resolved), compared to their competitor which had 27 complaints. Eric, the owner of Larsen's Pool and Spa, personally introduced himself and welcomed us. From the beginning, we met with professionals of Larsen's Pool and Spa who guided us throughout the entire project. Our buildout began early November and was completed by Mid February. We actually paused the buildout for one month since we traveled overseas, otherwise we would have finished by mid January. Total actual buildout from start to finish took 9 weeks (13 weeks taking our pause into account). We wanted a pool that would blend into our landscape and lake. We therefore chose not to enclose nor surround our pool with pavers. It is set within and surrounded by St. Augustine sod. We also had Larsen's Pool and Spa replace our lanai concrete pavers with the same marble coping used for pool. The workmanship was excellent. We couldn't be happier with the final results. Our pool feels as naturally set in the yard as the lake behind our property. The equipment chosen by Larsen's Pool and Spa is working perfectly and we enjoy the option of controlling the pool light and color via smartphone. Even though we chose not to have a screened enclosure, maintenance has been minimal. We very much enjoy the open air feel when in the pool, and the final envisioned look of our yard was accomplished. After 30 years in our home we decided to take the plunge and add a pool. We reached out to a few pool companies by phone and online. Most could not even meet with us or give us any general information for 3 -4 months. We contacted Eric Larsen on a Saturday and he walked us through some of the basic questions about what we had in mind. He honestly explained some of the timeframes due to COVID, overall process, options and cost estimate. A few days later our salesman, Jeff, was at our house and within a week we had an amazing rendering. After doing a ton of research and the excellent response from Larsen's we made our decision. We had a lot of questions throughout the build and never felt like we were an inconvenience. Brooks, Jeff, John and Eric were so easy to work with and make sure that we were happy with every step. We originally just wanted a pool but 7 months later, what we have is this beautiful additional living space that we love. We highly recommend working with Larsen's.

We recently had a pool installed by Larsen’s Pool & Spa, and the process could not have gone any smoother. I was impressed with our first contact when the owner, Eric Larsen, called to discuss our wants and took the time to ensure we understood and felt comfortable with their expectations for themselves when taking on a project. In a time when other pool companies seem to lack regard for communication and doing what they say they are going to do, we immediately felt at ease that this would not be the case with Larsen’s. Our assigned designer, Dan, answered all our questions about pool construction, listened to what our vision was, made excellent suggestions on design based on the size of our yard, and came up with a beautiful plan! Once all the permits were secured, we were handed off to our project manager, Reid. Reid met with us before the dig started to walk us through the process, answered questions, and made sure we knew we could contact him at any time. Every subcontractor Larsen’s hired was professional, kept the construction site cleaned up as much as possible, and did excellent work. I was especially impressed with the tile guy! Once the pool had water in it, Mike and Justin from Larsen’s hooked up the equipment, made sure it was running well, and came out twice a week for a month to check chemicals, make sure all was running well, and make sure we understood how all the equipment worked. From dig to water was three months, as promised from the beginning of the project! Larsen’s has excellent and knowledgeable employees, long time relationships with their subcontractors and stands by their equipment choices. The communication with us from start to finish was top notch! We highly recommend Larsen’s Pool & Spa when you are considering your own project.

This was the third pool we have had built, and we can say without any doubt the pool that Larson’s built was far superior to the other two. The quality and craftsmanship are exceptional, the team at Larson’s is very responsive, the follow-through consistent and we received continual communication throughout the entire process. We now have a beautiful outdoor living space that we thoroughly enjoy. Larson’s may be a little more expensive than other builders but the quality and commitment by the entire team is well worth the difference. We would highly recommend Larson’s to anyone who is looking to build a pool.

We did a lot of research and interviewed a lot of companies. We chose Larsen's Pool and Spa because we wanted a modern custom pool and not a cookie-cutter design. We had special considerations due to elevation and from conception to installation the Larsen team knew exactly what to do. They were able to take our ideas and make it a reality. We met with a Larsen principle and construction leads to walk the property and I worked closely with a designer. Material selection was easy with the guidance of the project lead. My project lead, Reed called me at the end of every week to update me on the progress and to discuss the next weeks plan. Reed was very meticulous in overseeing the worker's progress. We had the usual delays expected during this pandemic, but their communication was appreciated. With so many stories of companies overextending themselves to the point that they were unable to finish pools they had started, the discovery/research part of selecting a company was scary. Their reputation speaks for itself, and they put us at ease. We can't say enough about the value for money spent. The Larsen Pool start up crew made weekly visits for one month after pool completion to check the chemicals and to make sure we understood how to maintain the pool and equipment. We are super happy with our decision, and we know you will be also!

I am so pleased with the project end results, and so are my friends and family! I have the best "party patio and pool" in the neighborhood and it shows! Larsen's Pool & Spa is definitely the "gold standard" of pool companies.

My wife and I completed the install of a new pool in the end of 2021, a project of Larsen's Pools. We have been very pleased with the outcome. It was a major project, with a number of subcontractors overseen by the Larsen's project management. Joe was a great help with the pool design. We never imagined we could end up with something this nice in our smallish back yard. One aspect that definitely stood out for us was the professionalism of the subcontractors. They did great work. When I identified areas where corrections were needed, the project managers and subcontractors were prompt and courteous about making needed corrections. It was impressed on me that they appear to use the same teams on each project, so they all know one another pretty well. The project managers Brook and John were professional and kept good oversight of the project. The pool techs Justin and Mike have been great, prompt, helpful. The finance and office support, Cathy and Becca have always provided prompt responses to questions and helpful as well. Apart from the pool itself, I’ve learned that Larsen’s is there to help and provide any prompt follow-ups after the install. I was a bit nervous that we would be on our own with this considerable investment, but they’ve made me realize that they’re here when needed. Having a pool installed can be a nerve-wracking experience - I'm nervous about project problems by nature. But based on Larsen's solid experience, relationship with each of their subcontractors, and sincere prompt service after the sale, we have been able to rest easy, know it's being taken care of, and can say we are so happy to have chosen Larsen's for the project, and look forward to many years enjoying the pool. Our experience was wonderful and stress free. We had continuous updates on the progress. Every employee was kind, professional and extremely courteous. Our pool turn out absolutely beautiful. Larsen's stayed on time but did quality work. I would recommend them time and again.

From day one, everything promised to me by Larsen Pools was delivered as such. They scheduled an estimate, Then quoted us at the different levels of materials that they could use, we then went to the showroom to choose options, we gave them a deposit and they came back with a timeline that they hit exactly as they said they would. Every worker they had at our house over the 3 weeks was polite, communicated well, cleaned up every day when they were done, took pride in their work and spoke highly of their company. I really enjoyed having their hard working team around. This is the only company I would ever go to in the future

They were professional. Very responsive. You get a response back within the same day. They were all incredibly polite. They were clean and neat. I would recommend them for any kind of reconstruction. We didn't know exactly what we wanted when we hired them but they gave suggestions and it was excellent.

I believe I made the right choice with Larsen's. They followed through well, and the project was completed in a reasonable time frame. Quality is most important to me, and my pool shell is very thick concrete, well reinforced. The shell is much more robust than some others that I've seen. The finished product is very close to my initial vision, and I'm pleased with my pool. There were a few issues along the way, but that is to be expected with a fairly large project. All issues and concerns were handled to my satisfaction. I know there were material price increases between the time I signed my contract and the time the pool was constructed. There was no attempt to pass these price increases on to me. This shows integrity and commitment to honor the agreement. I rated professionalism as 'good' and not 'excellent' due to the actions of the subcontractor who installed my travertine pavers. I will not get into detail here, but Larsen's should find someone else to complete this work.

I'm so happy I chose to hire Larsen's pools for my new pool construction. I was hesitant to get into the process because I've heard so many horror stories with pool building projects, and I really wanted to avoid one of those situations. Eric, the owner of the company was very professional and he took the time to speak with me before I chose to work with them. He assured me that I would receive the highest quality in a timely manner, and that is exactly what I received. As soon as the permits were approved, the work was started. There was never a time when I had to wait around weeks and weeks for someone to come back and finish something or a delay in between stages of the work. They remained on their promised schedule, and even finished a little earlier than they originally told me. My project started at the end of December and was finished in the middle of March. Dan did a great job with my design and was always patient and took the time to make changes throughout the design process, the result was exactly what I wanted, the design and size of the pool is perfect. Reid did a great job of managing the project and was always a good communicator. He takes the time to listen to any questions, concerns or issues you may have and he will always do his best to make the clients as happy as possible throughout the process. Overall, the communication is great, the product is great, and I am very happy. I recommend Larsen's pools to anyone that wants a quality pool done the right way without all the aggravation! With this in mind, many companies told us to call back in 4-6 months because they were at max capacity with current projects. Others told us that we could be “squeezed” in. When you are investing a large sum of money to have a pool built… let’s be honest you don’t want to be squeezed in or feel like you are just a number. Larsen’s Pool really stood out to us in regards to reviews through multiple websites. Our first call we were placed in contact with Eric (owner) to discuss our pool ideas, budget, etc. This was really helpful, not only were we having an honest conversation about timelines, overall process, construction, financing, and budget but I could tell that Eric really cared about his clients. The next step was a phone consultation with our designer, Jeff. After talking with us for 15 minutes, Jeff texted us a picture of a rough sketch of our pool design and he nailed it. The pool layout was not only functional, but he thought of little details that would make our pool design unique and something that we would enjoy. During construction, our project manager was Brooks. He was great with communication and ensuring that not only were we happy but that the quality of work being done was good. Within 3-4 months our pool was finished and the final punch list items were completed in a timely manner. The level of communication was impressive not only from the Larsen’s but also their subcontractors. Throughout the process any question or concern was always addressed and answered quickly. Even after the final payment was made! The passion and level of care that Larsen’s provides is evident and really makes them stand apart from the competition. Larsen Pools is the best pool company anyone could deal with. The owner Eric is just wonderful and follows up on the whole project from beginning to end. I was so impressed with his Staff and especially Brooks who was the Supervisor overseeing my pool from the beginning to end. I could not have been happier! I recommend Larsen Pools to anyone who is looking for a pool company with expedient and friendly service but most of all my pool was completed in full within 13 weeks! I had 9 different pool & paver companies come walk my house and give me quotes. This is the ONLY company who I would EVER recommend. They kept their word, they did the most professional job, and my family is so happy with the outcome. I just wish all contractors were this great. Mr. Larsen and his team are what all homeowners wish all contractors held as their standards. Thank you to Larsen's Pools, we can enjoy our pool and lanai for the first time in many years. Working with the people at Larson pools was as good as it can get considering installation of a pool is major construction. Brooks the supervisor of our pool is an outstanding person he answered all of our questions and concerns. The only thing I can add to that would be prepare yourself for a major mess pool construction is a dirty job and it gets very dirty before it gets nice.

It wen very well. We have an amazing pool and had a great experience. There were delays (due to COVID not the company) but we were fully informed throughout the process. Everyone was professional and respectful. Yes, this project could have been done for a cheaper price, however you get what you pay for. Pools are expensive and a mistake could cost you a ton so why not get it done right the first time for just a little extra. This company did an amazing job from start to finish and if you want an amazing pool and building experience this is the company for you.
