He called me right away and responded to my email. He came out and did a great job on the work that he did. He was reasonably priced. Overall, I had a good experience with the company.

They did this job at two different times. I discussed what I wanted to do on the second job, while they were doing the first job. They ordered the materials and came back and did the second job. They were easy to talk to. They did quality work. I could ask them for their recommedations, but they didn't push anything on me. They weren't as quick as I would have liked with getting me the paper work. They showed me the materials they would be using. They were very careful. If there was anything that I wanted adjusted or fixed, they came back and took care of it. They were very professional. I had no problems with them. They were very trustworthy. Chris had one guy that worked with him. They were both very experienced.

Chris arrived 5 minutes early, and went straight to work. Tile and backer board was torn out of the shower to repair some plumbing connections. He had to take some tile out, screw in backer boarding, and re-set all matching tile. The bull nose tile install was slightly more difficult to do as it involved installing glass tile accents to match the rest of the bathroom, which ended up being perfect! The install of the magazine rack and TP dispenser works perfect as well. ANOTHER GREAT JOB AT AN AFFORDABLE PRICE BY CHRIS MOORE.

IT WENT BETTER THAN EVER EXPECTED!! Chris arrived to quote the project on time and very professional. I was not expecting anything fancy and had resigned to the fact I would have to settle for a pre-hung door which would not match the rest of my 1920s bungalow. However, Chris suggested to use a door which we were removing. He actually volunteered to use the door in the project - no other contractor/handy man ever volunteers to make a job more difficult. We agreed to the price, date and time of the project. To be honest I was slightly skeptical on how this was going to go. Arriving 5 minutes early, he went straight to work. When I came home at the end of the day - I could not believe the quality of work that was done. Chris ended up custom building a frame for the door he used. It is so perfectly plumb that the door does not even naturally swing in any direction. It is absolutely perfect! Details are key: To make matters more challenging for him, my old plaster walls are amazingly uneven. So to make the trim look flush with the walls, he had to add additional wood backing to the trim to keep it all level, uniform, and attached to the wall. He made very large shims out of the trim material and used it as backing - how did he get the measurement so perfect? In the entry way where the door taken, he placed and filled in the areas where the hinges sat to make the passage way look like an entry way that never had a door hung in it. Fantastic! Finally, he actually painted the trim in the matching white paint we had for the rest of our doors in out house and cleaned up the entire area where the work was done. It is rare to come across a man with this much skill, integrity and pride in his workmanship. To use any other person would be criminal.

The work was performed quickly and carefully. The windows in this old house were anything, but easy to work with. They took 2 days to do all the work. Some of the windows were larger than the opening and they were re-framed. Chris arrived at the site before 7AM on the second day and didn't leave until after 6PM. On his card it says "craftsman". I would agree with that whole heartedly. His work goes far beyond just handyman services. He's one of the most professional contractors I've worked with.
