Description of Work: I still have my 20 year old RCA console television. I have been happy with it over the years although my friends and family laugh at me and I know in the near future I'm going to have to let this one go when it finally dies and purchase a new TV. Over the years I have had some issues that were covered under warranties. Just this week the sound stopped working on my set and I thought I would have to finally get a new TV but I didn't want to so I decided to call Mitch to have him take a look. I called on Wednesday afternoon and he scheduled the service call for 9 am the next morning. Mitch diagnosed the problem and said he could make the repair but it would have to be removed from my home and taken to his shop and the cost would be $275. Mitch explained that he didn't think I should spend all that money on repairing the sound board because in reality the TV had a good run for 20 years and eventually the sound board may go bad again since this model television had notorious problems with the "sound going out". He suggested that I purchase a sound bar and connect it to the television since the picture was still great and three aren't any other issues. I was thrilled that I could keep my TV with just the cost of an inexpensive sound bar that I went out and purchased the same day at Walmart for $48.00. I hooked up the sound bar and wow.....better sound than before! Mitch is very skilled and knowledgeable and above all else...his is honest!!! Fantastic company!!!

Description of Work: We took our tv to M. Stransky to be repaired. The problem with the tv didn't occur all the time, so it took him a while to locate the problem. When he did he called us with a price, and after receiving our ok, fixed the tv. We picked it up and it only worked for a few days so we took it back to Mr. Stansky who again worked to diagnose the problem. It was determined that it was not worth repairing the tv so Mr. Stransky refunded all but the $20 fee to diagnose the tv. We were very happy that he was so honest and aboveboard. Would use him again! He has our trust.

Description of Work: I called on a Friday for my 37" LG TV it had just stoped working. I was told the earliest that he could come to my home would be 1st thing Monday Morning... That was fine with me as it was not my main TV that was out. I was told to expect him between 7:00 and 8:00am. At 7:05 he called from my front gate. Came in my home was Very Pleasant and went right to work. Opened up the Back of my TV and in about 30 seconds said... " I see the problem and I can get it up and running for about $160.00 with a year warrenty on his work. I said No Problem..... By 7:35 he was finished, cleaned up and out the door and my TV was working like New... All and All a very easy time dealing with this service!!!

Description of Work: I called Mitch on a friday morning and he was at my home within a few hours. He told me it could be right away what it needed to be fixed. He brought it back to his shop and called me with an exact estimate and when i would get it back. He was a man of his word, no games,and i WOULD use or recommend his company again in any future repairs.
