Description of Work: Got off to a slow start with a new employee who was unreliable. Owner fired the employee after two weeks and personally took on job. Once owner and a new helper commenced work, everything proceeded excellently. I was particularly impressed with the owner and the way he trained the new employee. Both did an excellent job.

Description of Work: Mr. Mike Bruno replaced some rotted trim on left side of patio door and two windows. Very good quality work. Very co-operative, anxious to please, and do good job. We plan to use him again in the near future.

Description of Work: After buying a new 60 inch HDTV, our family room cabinets needed to be retrofitted to accomodate it the way we wanted. After being stood up by one contractor, calls not returned by another and one who came out, scheduled to do it and then disappeared; I called Handyman Matters. They had someone out imediately, on time and gave me the estimate. They started work each time exactly as promised, did an excellent job, made adjustments when we wanted changes and were totally professional. Everyone who sees the built in TV cabinet arrangement loves it. It was great to not have to chase around a contractor as if begging them to do work.

Description of Work: Can't say enough "good things" about this contractor. Mr Bruno was very prompt and professional with scheduling our initial estimate. We have many projects, the first of which is now complete; consisted of updating the screened patio. Mr Bruno and staff painted the walls, trim and concrete flooring; installed a new storm door, painted and replaced hardware on 6 doors, installed new weather striping, and repaired a ceiling fan. Mr Bruno gave us advise on all stages of the repairs. The final billing was true to the original estimate. The patio looks new :) This company has the skills and professionalism that we have been looking for; we have additional estimates for more projects. Can't wait to get started on the next project. Description of Work: Mike is amazing! I called him when I was ignored by another vendor and he made me wish I had called him first. He accurately appraised the job, completed it in the estimated time and made it look great! And although he initially expressed concern about getting to me in a while because of commitments to other customers, when he realized he could do the job in 2 hours, he was able to fit me in. He will be my first call from now on. Great handyman!

 + -1 moreI have had a number of projects over the course of the year that I needed to get done associated with the usual wear and tear and upkeep of a house. I had a number of significant areas with wood rot on window trims, garage trim and column trims. Mike identified wood rot sites that I didn't even initially noticed and then repaired them as requested. My outdoor utility door was rusted through since I had moved into the home several years ago. I ordered a prehung fiberglass door. Mike Bruno arranged to pick it up and install it without incident. My backporch fan/light fixture had rusted through. Mike installed it but when the fan didn't work after several attempts, I had resigned myself that I would have to take it back to the store but he persisted in testing out to determine where the malfunction if any occurred and found the and now it works beautifully. My front porch/portico light was also replaced easily. Mike's got a pretty busy schedule which means that you have to schedule in advance. He will however let you know when he is unavailable due to a big project. He has done good work for my parents, my sibling, and my neighbors. Based on my experience, I trust his work and I trust his diligence. He already had come highly recommended from a friend.
