Well, they found that it was just a loose gas cap. They were fast and professional. The B on price is just because I was surprised how high the bill was for a diagnosis. But they're certainly entitled to charge their fee.

Sold me a refurbished window lift motor without telling me it was refurbished, then did not tell me that it was non refundable. He kept my old part. Part I purchased from him did not work and I called him 2 hrs. after buying it, to advise him it did not work and that I needed to return it. He said absolutely not, parts are not refundable. He told me to read the bottom of my receipt. When I signed the receipt I was led to believe it was my credit card receipt, so I was shocked that a non working part could not be returned. I asked for the District Mgr.'s number and he said he WAS the district manager and not only that, he was the OWNER.  When he refused to give me a refund, I told him I would call the Corporate in office in Georgia. He told me to go ahead and do it.  I called the Corporate NAPA office in Georgia and spoke directly to the President, Thomas Gallagher. I advised him that Auto Zone takes parts back and he said "so does NAPA". He offered to intervene and he called Doug Ritson.  Mr. Gallagher telephoned me to say that they would write a refund check directly from the Corporate office and not to deal with the Summerfield branch any further, except to get my old part back. When I went to retrieve it, Doug Ritson refused to give it back to me unless I paid them $26.50. I had no choice because it presented a safety issue in that my window would not stay up without the old part. The Corporate office refunded me in full, but Doug Ritson would do nothing. I would never do business with them in the future and would not want to have my car repaired at any garage if they purchase their parts from BGF Napa Summerfield, Florida.
