Went great. Beyond our expectations. We have not had a circuit trip since the work Bolt Electric did.

Lucas showed up and seemed very professional. (rental truck..his was supposedly in the shop). He was somewhat efficient and gave me a price. Couldn't do the work as he said it was a two man job!!! (NOT) I was absolutely floored at the price he quoted. $732.00 less my $100.00 and quot;dealand quot;. I have had enough work done by subs to know this was off the charts in terms of price. I called another A rated electrician on Angie's list. Kopper Electric came out that afternoon . EJ was amazing. He was so thorough and explored every possible way to make my motion detectors work using the existing wiring. (This is an old house). He finally came up with the same solution as Bolt and quoted me a price of 175.00. The work was done...very very nice installation. Bottom line the difference between Bolt and Kopper was 447.00. BEWARE Take the time to get a second price. I cannot imagine Bolt getting such good reviews unless people just don't mind throwing money away. I just remembered a very telling detail. Lucas wanted me to pay a deposit of 383.75. Seriously? Why would I be so gullible?

Service went smoothly, looks good. The only thing that didn't was the price. They charged me $300 plus a $60 driving charge to install one outlet in a wall with no insulation. That is about 3 times the going rate from the other electricians I called after the fact. Also is ridiculously high compared to other users here on Angie's List that had similar work done if you look at the services rendered here. I'm sure it had to do with the fact that I used Angie's deal of the day and they jacked up the price to make up the difference. I had the $79 for $279 of electrical work certificate and I was shocked when he told me the total would be $360 for one outlet. *UPDATE: Bolt responded and said they don't change the prices. Explain then how other members got 3 or 4 electrical outlets and some box work done for `$400 dollars and I paid $360 for one outlet.

They wanted $298.00 to diagnose the problem.

Cameron showed up on time, but my specific instructions when booking was not relayed to him. He didn't have the materials to do the job, so I had to reschedule. The 2nd appointment was better, but my there is still a smaller job to get done. Since a month has passed, I will have to call them to get the job finished.

when I first paid for this service I had to initiate the call to set up an appointment. After setting the appointment I call 2 days before to confirm my appointment got no answers at both offices left message got no return call. Contact names last line of the frustration I had and this company called me back the same day to tell me that the installer was on his way to take care of my appointment. Which I in turn cancel. Customer service is vital this day and really think that this customer does not care about customer service and assumes the customer is all locked in to the big deal they signed up for there's no threat that they will lose that business. Angie's List is agreed to reimburse me the amount I paid for the big deal and I appreciate that I would remove this company off of Angie ' list if I were them.

For the call to the office to the finish product, Bolt Electric is a first class operation. The service teck took his time to show me, how to use the circuit panel. Cleaned up after he was finished.

I've had this company come out twice now. They do good work. Was pleased both times and will use again.

Chad was on time, very professional and proficient in his work. I am happy.

Things went well. On time reasonably priced.

Cameron was prompt, polite and educated me on my electrical needs and immediately went and purchased necessary items to update my panel box so I would not have to worry.

When they contacted me, they told me that $59 of the deal was for driving time - which was not mentioned in the big deal. So I cancelled the big deal with them.

They were good. They were here and I got them off from Angie's List. They accomplished the task. They were here on time. They did a fine job. It was right after I joined Angie's List. It was one of those specials. I have domed lights in my kitchen and in my bathroom, they were flickering, and I didn't know whether if it was the starter or the bulb. They came out and replaced the starters. They went out to several stores to search out for the bulb coz apparently they don't mate the size anymore and they were able to accomplish it. It was nothing over what I paid Angie's List. It was $99 special. They didn't charge me any extra. They didn't charge me for the bulb and the starters and it can run into a few dollars. I really thought that all I had really paid for was the labor. They were excellent. They didn't waste any time.

Estimate was too high to move a light sconce over 8 inches in my bathroom. I explained I had already had an estimate for $235 and so I assumed for the coupon value of 250 they should have been able to do the job. I feel they over estimated ti pay for the coupon deal. Just my thought :-)

Arrived on time. Nicely present in manner and dress. Performed work efficiently, quickly and explained.

Great! Cameron was courteous and friendly.

The Tech said that he did not have experience doing what we needed him to do and he called his boss and his boss stated that he has two (2) other Techs that have experience and would cost over $2,100. We told them in our comments they would need to run conduit and wiring, they did not come prepared and there estimate is extremely high for three (3) ceiling fans.

Installer was on time, professionally dressed and explained what he was doing.

Cameron arrived right on time and introduced himself in a professional yet personable manner. I explained what I wanted, and he set about his work with due diligence. He continued to be professional yet conversational, and did everything I wanted to my complete satisfaction. I thought the price was just a little high, but when I considered that he did the battery replacement free of charge, and I got $100 and quot;Angie's Promo Discountand quot;, it seemed very fair. I would certainly call on Bolt Electric again, and I would ask for Cameron.

Went well. Chad very polite and punctual.

The repairman replaced this GFI outlet and then I reset all the other outlets. Then everything worked fine and was just like nothing had happened. It was great that he was able to find the problem so quickly. He even suggested a surge protector for the house that would be mine rather than renting a protecting system from TECO. Felt he was very fair and very prompt in getting there for his appointment too.

The advertisement that this service provider has put on Angie's List is very misleading, in the sense that they are advertising $259 for electrical services for $99...but in essence, you're not getting this. They will take $59 off for travel fees, and then the $200 for a service call.

I contacted Bolt Electric after purchasing the deal and was immediately contacted by the office to set up an appointment for the following week. The electrician, Chad, arrived on time and swapped out two of our old ceiling fans that no longer worked for two I had purchased at Home Depot. Unfortunately he had to spend more time than should have been needed because he discovered that the remote for one of the fans was not working. Chad did a number of things to troubleshoot the problem and explained that either the remote was bad or the receive in the fan was bad and that I needed to contact the manufacturer and obtain a new part. I would definitely use Bolt Electric again and highly recommend them to my fellow Angie's List users.
