He did an excellent job. Very professional and quality of work was great.

They scheduled very quickly to come out. They installed a new ceiling fan as a replacement. The work was good, but he forgot to install a piece of trim that is located around the top of fan that is against the ceiling. Also, he did not clean up after himself, he left the trash of the boxes the fan came in.

I paid $99 for $200 worth of services. I expected to at least have a light and a ceiling fan installed. I could not get from their offices any idea of what they would charge for the work (and quot;each situation has to be evaluated individuallyand quot;). But when the electrician came, he said all ceiling fan installations were $115, with another $15 added if a remote control was part of the installation. Height of the ceiling doesn't matter. The electrician who did the wiring for the house as it was being built charges $40 to install a ceiling fan with another $10 added if a remote control is part of the installation. Twice before the electrician came, I spoke on the phone to Bolt Electric's office and told them the electrician needed to bring a tall ladder to install a chandelier at a height of 18 feet. When the electrician arrived, he did not have a ladder tall enough to hang the chandelier. With the ladder he had, he could barely reach to hang the ceiling fan. In order to have the chandelier installed, not only did I have to schedule another appointment, but I would have to pay another $89. So to hang one ceiling fan and one chandelier, their price was $289.

The Deal expired before I could use it.

It was excellent. The electrician was there on time. He was efficient and very careful. He explained exactly what he was doing and why. In one case, the wires had been damaged and all were replaced before changing to the new outlet. This is the 3rd or 4th time I've used Bolt and I have never been unhappy with their service. They are the best.

I wanted them to put in an additional push-button to open my garage door. They said they do not do that kind of work. They offered to wire the motor, but not this kind. I found a handyman that could do this work for me.

I took the day off exactly on the date we agreed upon. They did not show up and when I called them, they said they thought they we're supposed to come out a week later. Very poor communication. Why would anyone want to hire a person that is going to take 2-3 weeks to come to your home. I would not recommend them.

It wasn't what I expected. He said what I wanted was over the amount of the deal. The way he put them in was top notch.

2 technicians started at 10 A.M. and finished at 8 P.M.. A lot of the work required one or both techs to spend a great deal of time in the attic with temps well above a 100 degrees. They both were very friendly, courteous, and professional at all times.

I was not in love with the solution proposed, especially after receiving an estimate of over $900. I'll contract with someone else/

Technician showed up on time. Got the job done quickly and fixed the problems.

Company kept giving us scheduling issues, getting a refund through Angie's List.

We offered for the workmen to arrive early because they had to work in the attic, the estimater said he'd let us know. He never did and the arrival time went from 7am to 11:15. When I called and asked where they were that's when we were informed that our times were between 8 and 11am. I called again at 10:50 to find out they were 20 minutes away still. REally this job was one that they took existing electric, no wires needed to be ran for any of the fan boxes, and i felt charged us the price of new service.

On time, made the repairs requested for slightly over the and quot;dealand quot; price, but I added a service. Knowledgable and courteous. Really can't ask for more.

The first person who can on July 15, was a little rushy. He didn't explain what needed to done in detail. The quote given was misleading. The work was not completed on the July 15th. On July 16, two other techinicians showed up to complete the work. The two technicians, Dean and Brian, who came the next day did an excellent job with giving me the correct quote and explaining why, as well as details regarding the work that would be completed to install both lights. I was well pleased with the workmanship and the cordial attitude of both technicians.

They did a great job assessing the problem and fixing it. I recommend Bolt and will use them again.

Would not have had the work done for that price but had to get the outlet installed. Very expensive for the work provided.

GREAT!!! Very neat and clean, removed the old fan, with a new one, checked the outlet and my surge panel n/c. Will use them again for sure!

I had Bolt Electric add a new exterior electrical outlet. A relatively simple electrical task.that IO have had done before for around $100. The electrician arrived on time. I reviewed the task with him, which including tapping in to an existing outlet and then running some line in a conduit (about 15 to 20 feet), drilling through cinder block, and 4and adding the new outlet. I had expected that the price would fall within the $249 allowance I had for the Big Deal. He walked through the job and said it would be an additional $69. I agreed to the price because I had already paid Angie's List $99 in advance, and also ibecaiuse I wanted to get the job complete without having to take more time away from work for this. After walking through the job the electrician left for over an hour to get supplies. When he returned to perform the work, I was working in my office myself. So I could not stay beside him throughout the process. When he showed me how he had ran the conduit, and what type of outlet he had installed, I was dissappointed. He had ran the conduit straight across the exterior of my home at about 2 feet off the ground level. This is about a 15 foot run, and it looks very unsightly and rather hideouscomical. I had expected him to either run the conduit across underground and then go up tpo the spot, or run straight up to the eaves and over. I would not have imaginned running grey plastic conduit straight across the outside of my home for that long of a stretch. We had also talked about him installing a recessed outlet for the new recetacle. Instead, he had installed one that sticks out from the surface about 2 inches. I asked him why he did not install the one we agreed to. He said that his company would not allow them to cut out an area of cinder block in order to install a recessed recetacle because of liability. He did not mention this when we discussed it before the job was done. By the time I realized how he had done it, everything had been installed. So it was really to late to back it out since thae were many brackets held on with tapcon screws already anchored into my exterior wall. So I just chalked it up to a costly learning experience

Everything went smooth and timely.

Clayton was polite, personable, knowledgeable and efficient. It was a hot dirty job as all the wiring needed to be run in the attic area. They worked quietly, quickly and neatly, cleaning up all their mess. I purchased this contract w/an Angie list special offer and I couldn't be happier w/ the service I received. I will definitely call Bolt again and I'll ask for Clayton.

When I called them today to set up the appointment, they don't do what I need them to do, which was dealing with defective wall/window units. One makes noise and the other doesn't put out cold air. They were very nice, though, and I would consider using them if I needed their services.
