Description of Work: Had been having ongoing problems with power on my TV..would not power on from either cable connection or set. Called Venus based on recommendations on Angie's List. He returned my call promptly and we discussed the problem and then he informed me that he was calling from out of the state and was dealing with a family health issue and would not be returning to the Clearwater area until Wednesday the 21st. I had left another message for a service provider and told Bill that if I did not have a call from them that I would call him back and we would schedule an appointment on his return. I did not find another provider and called Bill again and he came out on a service call on the 21st. He was very professional and helpful...explained and fixed the problem. I was impressed with his attention to customer service and highly recommend him and certainly would use him again.

Description of Work: I called to describe my problem, wondering if my 5 year old DLP TV could be repaired. The man who answered was nice enough to let me know that I had not completed the lamp replacement, but to continue to replace all of the safety features before calling for help. I did, and voila - the TV works perfectly. Although he saved me a service call this time, I will definitely use them if I have any other problems.

Description of Work: We have a big projection TV that is about 6 or 7 years old. It started going wacky and we were worried we would have to buy a new TV but the owner of VENUS TV came out, quickly determined what part was needed. He had asked me the model # prior to coming so he actually had the part on his truck. This was over a year ago and the TV has been fine ever since. The owner is very friendly and professional. Very Pleased.

Description of Work: He came to the house to pick up our TV set that frequently cut off while watching a program. At the same time he connected our spare set. Upon repair he delivered the set to a different address and installed 2 TV sets that were switched around and disposed of a 3rd one. He did it all for no extra charge, He is very accommodating and helpful to those with little electronic knowledge.

Description of Work: Repaired high voltage circuit in SONY TV in home. Called in A.M. Came to home a little afternoon and repaired set without taking into shop. Prompt service and fair price. Very courteous and friendly. All work guaranteed for 90 days.

Description of Work: I sent an email describing the problem (broken cable input on TV) and I received prompt email back with estimate for repairs plus way to fix it myself. I did suggested technique and didn't have a pay for anything!
