I highly recommend Ken Putz and Total Shutter Technologies. A shutter broke while we prepared to evacuate a couple of days before Irma. I called four or five shutter installers. No one called back before the storm, that was understandable considering the timing. However, Ken was the only one who called after the storm passed. He apologized for not calling before the storm. Ken and Dave arrived on time, accessed the situation, and explained they had to take it completely apart before they could give me an accurate estimate. They did so and determined they could fix it by replacing one part, which they had on the truck. They also adjusted the alignment and where the shutter stopped when raised, both in order to help prevent a recurrence. Ken could have probably sold me something I didn’t really need. How would I know and whom would I call for another estimate since no one else had even bothered returning my initial call? Ken is someone you can trust to do a good job at a fair price.
