About us

Clean Leader was started by Monia Heldwein, who begins cleaning houses in 2005. We entered the business part time with just two customers and have grown recently into a full service cleaning business within 15 employees. We now clean over 5,000 houses for year between residential and vacation rentals, throughout the Sarasota, Venice and Bradenton area. Our employees are well trained and kept up to date on new cleaning equipment and supplies through regularly scheduled training meetings. All new employees go through a screening and background check before their first day on the job. They also receive cleaning procedures and safety training before working in your house. We, at Custom Clean believe that your home should be cleaned to exceed your highest expectations. We pride ourselves in delivering exceptional services, customer fulfillment and trustworthy employees. Our reputation depends on our client’s impression of us and for this reason we never cease to amaze our customers with our services and professionalism. Our work is customized to fit your needs: Do you want the entire house cleaned? It’s done. Do you only need the bathrooms and hard floors cleaned? no problem. Description of Work: The cleaners sent over did not speak any English at all whatsoever, so this posed a serious problem as I had specific tasks in mind. The owner did come and handled the problem, herself mostly. The work that was done, was mostly done well, but I could not get everything accomplished because of the time wasted waiting for the owner, who did not accompany her employees.

Her correspondence said she would call and she needed a date. |I responded with April 8th again a month ahead. |After never hearing from her, I called on the 7th and was told I was not on her schedule. |I asked for the following week. Description of Work: I would only use this service again if at least ONE of the workers spoke English reasonably well. I was unable to communicate my wishes to them because of this and therefore, did not receive the entire time for which I paid. What they did for me was adequate.

Description of Work: I had company coming and needed the house cleaned by a certain date. Over a course of two weeks (getting closer & closer to my company arriving and I was overloaded with work), the owner would text me (sometimes with days going by with no response) about scheduling the cleaning time. Well, long, and frustrating story short, she left me without anyone able to clean, demanding a refund of voucher, and literally ONE day to find someone else to help us. Very frustrating and absolutely unprofessional. It ended up costing a lot more (though the other company did a great job and spoke English...) They did an okay job the first time (and now the ONLY time) they cleaned, but apparently did not want our repeat business. Sad... because we had expressed interest in an ongoing need. I'm sure there is someone out there who wants our business (& money) without all of the stress.
