Let's Get Moving

They were prompt, professional, friendly and helpful. After the bill was settled, an error was discovered in our favor. I was not asked to pay the difference because it was their error. I would definitely recommend Let's Get Moving to anyone.

I contacted Matt to schedule an estimate for my mom. He showed up on time, and was very nice! My mom hired them. The crew showed up on time, and worked non-stop. I was not personally there for the packing and loading, but my mom and sister in law said they did an outstanding job! The next day, again, showed up on time at the new new house. I was there to greet the crew. They were all very nice, and after they started to bring things in, I felt like they were part of the family. Very courteous, always willing to go out of the way to lend a hellping hand, never complained about having to relocate peices of furniture within the house. I highly recommend these guys :-) I myself was in the moving industry, and it is not an easy job. Thank you, guys, for making this move go smoothly for my parents!

My notes from 1st move are below. I used this company because the crew was great to work with the 1st time around. three of the four movers were new for this move. The crew of four worked very hard as a team. They were pleasant to be around all day. It is easy to tell when a crew has worked together. They were all in sync with one another, which keeps everyone safe and the job moving quickly. On both jobs, they predicted the final cost with $100. I have already referred them to my parents and a good friend. I received three quotes off of Angies list. I felt most comfortable with Quinn. He offered me several different moving options in order to control the price. the crew of four were professional and worked very well together as a team. The concept of paying by the hour is a bit scary to me, but they walked the job when they arrived, and gave me a quote that matched the original numbers I discussed with Quinn. At the end of the day, they calculated the move to the hour, and i paid exactly what I was quoted.The guys went right to work and held an even, fast pace the entire day. Half of my belongings went to an apartment, and the other half to a 2nd floor storage unit. They did an expert job of fitting everything into the unit.I will be hiring this team again in about six months when I move to my permanent home. I have many fragile belongings, and a piano. Not a single scratch!!!

The were absolutely OUTSTANDING !!! We have moved no less than 11 times do to work and I must say this was the best moving company we have ever used !!! They took great care not to damage any of our things and did it on time and on budget. They also loaded and packed some of our furniture that would not fit into our new home into a rental truck . We had that truck driven up north to our Son's home and the furniture arrived in perfect condition . Just a GREAT job by a talented ,professional crew !!!!

They arrived exactly on time, performed a walk-thru of every room to see exactly what was being moved and started loading. Will and Ken knew exactly what they were doing and how to do it. They were professional, polite and very hard workers. Not a minute of their time was wasted. Moving is a pain, to say the least but they do everything in their power to make it as pain free as possible. Call them, you won't regret it!

Although they arrived an hour after they said they would, they did call me in the morning to tell me they would be late. I've used as least five different moving companies for various moves in the past few years, their pricing was the best and most fair. They did what they said they would, did it well at a price I could live with. I will call them first in the future

They were very good. I recommended them to several friends. I would definitely use them again.

We needed to move on a specific day, and had contacted multiple movers from Angie's List. Let's Get Moving offered the best price, and also agreed to move our upright piano as part of the move. We hired them to move our big stuff. That meant we had to move our little boxes ourselves, and we also chose to disassemble items ahead of time to make the move go faster and easier for all involved. They arrived that morning right on time. Dennis and Felix were our two movers. They introduced themselves, explained all the details of the move, came inside to verify what was being moved, and then got to work. Everything was packed up in short order, and they followed us up to the new house. On arrival, they backed the truck in, came inside to see where things needed to go, and then set about taking things off of the truck. Everything went exactly where we needed it to go, including the piano. Nothing was damaged, and they definitely didn't waste time packing things in or out of the truck. We had planned for about 4 hours of work at a cost of about $500. It ended up being 2.5 hours and a cost of $315. We were happy enough with the way things went that we tipped the movers and also sent them off with donuts and coffee. Dennis and Felix did a great job! We're definitely happy with Let's Get Moving, and will certainly use them again in the future.

There are few more unpleasant experiences in life than moving. My wife and I have done it several times and it has always been a nightmare. Let's Get Moving almost made moving a pleasure. From beginning to end the experience was first rate. They packed our entire 6200 sq, foot house in one day and even moved about half the load on that first day. The remainder of the move was completed on the second day. They treated our furniture as if it were their own and treated the walls of our new house as if they were their own. Not a mark was left. The owners were on site with the moving crew. I would recommend these folks to any one. I got their name from Angie's list and was concerned that they may not have handled a move as large as ours. Matt provided me with references who all gave them a terrific review. They can do any move, no matter how large. These folks even came back a few days later to pick up boxes and to help us with the movement of any furniture that we decided to relocate. The crew was experienced, personable and caring. They gave me a fixed price for the move and lived up to every expectation. I couldn't give them a higher review!

Extremely good job moving my 2BR townhome. The guys were attentive, careful, and friendly. No damage reported which is exceptional. Even figured a way to get the couches in over the balcony. Very happy, A+ service, communication, and professionalism. Would recommend highly.

I was extremely pleased. The two workers who came were very careful with my furniture and meticulous in making sure my belongings were handled carefully. I was happy with the service and would recommend them to others. I've moved several times and I've never had an experience like this before.

I called and got a rough estimate from LGM, and then had a fixed cost bid after Matt looked at our apartment and what needed to be moved. Matt offered us a fixed bid in writing, provided excellent advice, and resolved all of my concerns and questions. I had received several other estimates from other companies, none of which pleased me or helped me to feel secure. LGM won our business. The company (since it was fixed bid) sent over a three-man crew to handle the move. The crew was friendly, careful, intelligent, and hardworking. The crew called us when they were on the way, and arrived on time (if not a little early). We had most things ready to go, and the crew began moving our belongings immediately. Let's Get Moving provided excellent customer service, exceeded our expectations, and were a pleasure to work with! While I'm not planning on moving again any time soon, when next I do, or any of my friends do, we'll be recommending LGM!

They were on time, delivered on a tight schedule and worked the extra hours needed to get the move done.

It went perfectly. I can't think of anything I could say went wrong or I had to question. They were true to the estimate given me by phone. Last, Just what I needed to take care of my moving needs- I was so happy with them!!!!!!!!!!

I meant to submit this report right after the move, but you know how it is after you move.... I chose this company based on Angie's List reviews (of course). I called on a Wednesday for the following Saturday, thinking the short notice would be a problem, but it wasn't - he just signed me up for that day! Then, we needed to get the garage door replaced in the house we were moving out of, and the only day they could come was Saturday, so I called on Thursday and asked for Monday...again, no problem. On, Friday, I realized we were just not going to be ready on Monday, so I called back, expecting at least some impatience this time, and rescheduled for Wednesday. No impatience. No problem. The two guys that showed up were wonderful. I had told them on the phone that we would be moving the boxes in our van, and they could a few pieces of heavy furniture (we had never used movers before, and my husband was against it). When they got there, I still had LOTS of boxes, and asked if they could take them, too. Of course - no problem. Since I needed certain items to go to the house, and others to go to storage, they gave me the choice of either loading tightly, which took more time, or making two trips. I chose the two trips - either would have cost more than the original estimate, but I had probably double the amount I told them I would have. Even though i had signed up for only a morning, this was not a problem for them. They loaded up the truck for storage first. Here's where I can give you some advice - if you think you are going to do last minute packing while they are loading - don't. These guys move REALLY fast. Like, run-you-over-if-you-get-in-their-way-fast. (Very polite - always apologized - it was always my fault.) At storage, I asked if they could load the unit so that I could get certain things out first. Of course - no problem. We had lunch (our choice - they were willing to go without eating, but we were dragging...), returned to the house, and they packed up what remained for the house we were moving to. Again, they took much more than i originally asked them to, and again, had no problem with doing it (I think I asked them what it would take to get them to say no to something, and the reply was that we were paying for their time and their goal was to make sure we got what we needed, so whatever we asked for would be fine.) One example of this: I had run out of boxes, and did not pack up my grandmother's china, which was in a wooden bin that doubled as a coffee table. I figured I would have to come back with more boxes and take it up in our van. When I told them WHY we weren't moving it that day, they suggested putting it, as is, in our van.They put it in, and took it out at the house - it was HEAVY - and all of my grandmother's china was intact. All in all, as wonderful an experience as moving could be. My husband, who was against it in the beginning, was convinced that we had done the right thing and had hired the right guys. In these times of diminished customer service, they deliver outstanding customer service.

The two men that arrived in the early AM were extremely helpful, courteous and above all professional! They were at it till mid-afternoon. Great job!

The give a thorough verbal estimate, follow it up with a wriiten estimate- arrive on time. They work hard and are delightful.

My whole experience with Let's Get Moving was excellent and very professional. The owner answered the phone when I called and he went over the cost and explained things very clearly. I did not have any trouble setting up a date or time. They called the day before to tell me the time they would be at my house and then the driver called when he was leaving St. Pete to come to Sarasota and gave me a time estimate. They called one time on their way to give me an update on their progress. They were actually a few minutes early! The two movers were professional, nice, and worked fast and hard. They were extremely careful and never stopped working. They made the moving of my belongings and furniture very easy. I highly recommend this company and their price is very fair!

I could not have hoped for a better experience with a moving company. These guys were WONDERFUL from start to finish. The office always returned my phone calls and emails promptly and all expenses were clearly explained up front. I was given a set price and there were no surprises after the job was complete, even though I did not have as many boxes as I originally told them, and even after we added a 2nd drop off location for some of our furniture. They still stuck with their original quote. When moving day arrived the crew arrived 10 minutes early and got straight to work. The guys were great, not only did they pack everything quickly and efficiently, they were nice to be around. We have a 10 month-old baby who takes two naps a day. I asked the guys to try to be quiet during nap times and I actually overhead them reminding each other to be careful not to make any noise near the baby's room. Our son took a two hour nap! With 6 adults in the house packing and moving furniture! Let's Get Moving handled our move expertly, everything was packed well and none of our belongings were damaged or broken. I would have been very happy even if the story ended there, but it doesn't. The day after they finished moving all of our belonging into a very large storage unit I realized that a wardrobe box with clothing that my husband and I needed for a wedding was accidently packed with everything else (my fault, it wasn't marked or set aside). I called Let's Get Moving in a panic, and they sent three guys to unload the storage unit and find the box...for no extra charge! This company was a pleasure to work with, they clearly have a strong work ethic and sense of professionalism. I will absolutely use them the next time we move.

I found Let’s Get Moving on Angie’s List website and emailed a quote request. Matt responded on the next business day and was very kind and thorough. He offered a flat rate quote and an hourly rate. We agreed on the hourly rate for a two man crew and scheduled the date and time. His crew arrived early on moving day and immediately started working. They never stopped for a moment. Will and Chris are very competent, professional, hard working, kind and friendly guys. They treated my belongings as their own, not a single thing was damaged or lost. The job took longer than originally estimated because I asked them to do more than planned; they explained the extra cost when the request was made and then cheerfully did the extra work. The cable installer at my new home was so impressed with the guys that he asked for their business cards! Matt, Will, and Chris took what could have been a very stressful day and made it smooth sailing. I can’t imagine a better move experience.

First I sent an in home estimate request and Matt came to my home and storage unit, did a walk through and then he e-mailed me a flat-rate estimate. Then I booked them for the day that I wanted and the crew showed up on time and started working. All of my stuff arrived at the destination the same day in the same condition. Nothing was damaged in any way and there were no mess in any of the locations. I have used 4 other moving companies in the past 6 years and let me tell you Let's Get Moving company rocks compared to the other ones. They are very professional, on-time, clean, polite and their prices and estimates are fare. I've got estimates from two other companies as well, one was $300 below their price and one was way higher. I liked the fact that Matt was the only one who actually came with to my storage and took a look at my stuff in there as well. The other ones just saw the house and they didn't want to see the storage. I like to thank Matt, Queen, and the moving crew for their excellent job. P.S. The moving crew even help me move the old washer and dryer that was in my new place to one story down into the garage.

The trucks were a little late because of early morning traffic, but considering that hour home used to be in a large metropolitan city, these guys were prompt! I would advise customers making all-day moves to buy your crew lunch. I had to make these guys stop and eat. Even on a very hot afternoon, it seemed to give them a second wind. And they didn't take more than 20 minutes to eat and even ate in shifts. I'd also advise customers to have a game plan and make sure you know where you want everything to go before your stuff starts coming in the door. I'd also advise you to give these guys the job.

They helped me moved from one apartment to another. They were punctual and they did a good job moving and taking care of our furniture and stuff. We under estimated what had to be done but they were cordial with it. We messed up their job as it was supposed to be a 2 hour job but it turned out to be a 4 and half hour job. They didn't say anything and they were fine. I recommended them to a friend as well and he used them as well. Their price was high but then I equate price with quality. If you go with a lower guy you may or may not have the best quality. They were little bit higher.
