Nice enough guy but all he did was eventually come through with an estimate and no plan. Complete waste of $49.

The experience of having him come to the house and then meeting w him at his office went very well. He showed me photos on his computer of gorgeous remodeling jobs he completed. I only had a design drawn to see if he might have some ideas on how to redesign an awkward kitchen/dining/ front room layout. He did a very thorough and prompt job with coming to measure and designing a couple different layouts. I just didn't happen to love the design so I decided to not remodel anything and put the project on the back burner

It took a little while for us to connect and get an appointment scheduled, but when we met he was very professional and easy to work with. It took a little over a week from our initial meeting for him to get back with the 3D rendering of the kitchen with suggested changes. We were happy with the final design. The budget numbers were higher than what we expected, however he explained that we would, depending on our choices, come in under budget, but were not likely to go over budget.

They did try to contact me once, about a week after purchasing the deal. They left a voicemail that was so unclear that I could not understand the name or number to call back. With having pre-paid that amount of money, I expected them to reach out again.

He was a very nice guy. It took him about half an hour to do the estimate. I would say I trusted him and he was very upfront.

Excellent, on time, polite, and provided a very reasonable quote.

We will complete the service appt. on June 21, 2014! His extraordinary diligence and efforts to accommodate clients with an unforeseen scheduling conflict & health issues have already exceeded my expectations!!!

Confirmed appointment to meet on Memorial Day, which was quite unexpected. Professional and thorough in his quote. Within 48-hours, provided 3-D schematic along with a line drawing of the proposed layout of the kitchen renovation project.

They were okay. I didn't really have any complaints or concerns. He was a nice guy and did what we asked him to do. We got from him what we needed which is some ideas and the design that we got was not sufficient to bill on cabinets, but we weren't ready to do that.

Just as often goes with the old houses, there were numerous issues that were discovered as the old wall coverings were removed. We discovered the house had knob and tube wiring, the plumbing needed total replacement, the old clay sewer line was busted due to tree roots, etc. Then there are the things that you didn't think about doing but realize that just make sense to do while the house is under extensive construction, such as replacing all of the ceilings, adding returns in the existing bedrooms, changing out French doors that you didn't realize were eaten through by termites, changing all the door hardware, replacing gas hot water heater with tankless, etc. We added so many items to Ken's list - it's hard to recall them all. I cannot say enough about the renovation that Ken and his crew did! We are so relieved to have picked someone that is not only honest and reliable, but also someone that we developed tremendous respect for and in whom we grew to completely trust. We are so proud of the renovations that we hired Ken to do. He made our visions come alive and everything was done just as we wanted. Additionally, there were so many decisions to be made and Ken was very patient and very supportive. He often gave us advice that saved us money! We have received so many positive comments from neighbors on how great the renovations look.

Very professional to work with. Took suggestions easily and made adjustments accordingly. I loved the software he used that showed the hypothetical finished product. We are not ready to do the work at this time, but wanted an idea of the cost. We will definitely keep this company on our short list when we actually take the plunge and commit to the remodel.

Ken is a skilled communicator able to articulate work to be done in language homeowners understand. He integrates technology into working with clients in a smart way - we created/shared a HOUZZ idea book with him. It's this kind of savvy he also demonstrated in his management the budget & subs needed to complete our project in 10 weeks. Ken's relationship with his subs makes it clear that he is respected in his trade - not just because he is a master craftsman but also because he is a standup kind of guy. The end product is amazing and we regularly get compliments from visitors on so many of the elements of Ken's work. Friends are jealous of our kitchen and we've heard many times the reference to the Property Brothers open floor plan look and feel. There is no shortage of projects in the house and we continue to partner with Ken to knock out our punch list.

I used a coupon special through Angie's list to get an estimate on a home renovation including kitchen remodel back in November. Ken showed up promptly on our appointment date to get measurements and hear what we were looking to do for a very extensive home renovation, which primarily consisted of kitchen, bath remodel, some modest demo and floor replacement. -this review is much over do and i should of completed sooner. -Ultimately, we went in a different direction with the contractor -if you are considering a contractor, Ken is certainly worth looking at. his proposal and timeline were well in line with the other contractors that we evaluated for this job. In no way did our choice have anything to do with his work or service.

He did a good job of trying integrate his ideas (which include code requirements) into a design that my family was thinking would look good and be functional. When you start to take down kitchen walls it requires a lot more thinking than just replacing cabinets. We didn't go with him on the construction because of the total cost to make it the way we want for now. So we decided to postpone ant changes for awhile.

We went with the deal because the price was reasonable to get some plans for both our bathroom and kitchen. Scheduling was timely and he arrvied on time. We received the designs a few months later which was took longer than we expected but we were not in a rush. The designs were very good but we haven’t moved forward with the work. He had really great ideas.

I told him up front that I wouldn't be ready for the work until Spring, so he will give me an estimate after Xmas. I can give a better evaluation at that time.

I had contacted Ken weeks before the closing of my house, as I had already known I wanted work done. Ken came out on the scheduled date, and listened carefully to the things we wanted. He went over the house with a fine tooth comb and days later started emailing me sketches. The ONLY reason we were unable to work together is because at the time, Ken was very busy, and told me up front that he would not be able to start working on my project immediately. I'm impatient, and being that we're living in NY (the house is in FLA) we want to move asap (its cold up here!). I found the entire experience with Ken to be fantastic, and I would call upon him anytime. Really good guy.

The guy was great and came out promptly. The deal was to create drawing for bathroom and kitchen. The problem is that I paid in advance and haven't heard a thing since. He told me I would have the drawing in two weeks. It's been about a month, and I haven't seen or heard anything. I have no idea what the finished product will look like. If it is like this for drawings, however, it is unlikely I will go with him on the actual work.

Ken was always on time and we really like his ideas that he came up for our kitchen and bath remodeling. We asked him to make some changes and Ken was always very helpful and responsive to what we wanted in new kitchen design. Overall, the new kitchen and master bath design came out great! We are still trying to see if something can be changed in the design to fit our budget better without sacrificing too much of space. Thanks again Ken for your service.

Terrible because he never finished doing what he said he would. Without the plans for the remodel, his visit to my home was worthless.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It was fine. He did what he said he would do in the Big Deal. I did not move forward on the renovation of the kitchen because the price tag was really too high. The Deal covered him coming in and taking measurements and coming back with drawings. He was easy to deal with. He was here when he said and did what he said he would do so it was good.
