 + -1 moreThese guys are the best. They started inside at my dryer hose, and had to come back a second day because it was too wet & rainy to get on the roof. That day they risked life & limb to get up on my roof and completely clear the several years' worth of lint and muck clogging my dryer vent, and cleaned up after themselves after they were finished. They were very responsive, professional, punctual, and thorough. I can now dry a load of towels in one cycle. It's the little things...

 + -1 moremy dryer vent has been spewing lint on my rooftop for a year now, and i was tired of climbing on the roof and trying to reach in and clear it myself. i looked on angie's list found Absolute Clean Air came highly recommended. and they deserve that ranking AND MORE! within 72 hours of my initial call, john showed up right on time. he spent nearly 45 minutes, both up on the roof and in the laundry room. not only did he clear out the vent, but he picked up every last bit of lint himself. a real professional and a genuinely nice guy. i intend to have Absolute Clean Air come out once a year to maintain my dryer vent.

 + -1 moreCalled and spoke with Neil who was very personable and knowledgeable. He was able to schedule service the following day. The technician John, arrived at the approximate time and did a walk through of my house. He started working on the dryer vent and cleaned all kinds of yuck out of the dryer vent. Then moved on to the ac vents with the rotobrush. He cleaned all of the vent plates by hand. Very friendly, answered all of my questions in a professional manner. The cost was what he quoted and I felt that it was a very good price for the level of service provided. I will definitely use in them again in the future:)

 + -1 moreWhat should have been a straightforward vent cleaning turned out to be a test that proved the professionalism, technical competence and trouble-shooting abilities of Absolute Clean Air. They discovered the source of the problem: a vent that had been capped off during a re-roofing and not reconnected. Then, after the condo association made what should have been the correction and the dryer still wasn't working, they discovered that the correction had, in fact, been a jury-rigged "fix" that was catching lint rather than venting it. Further, as I had lost faith in association hires to do proper work, they gave me the name of a reliable person and precise information on what venting was required to put an end to these problems as well as the number of hours that person's work was likely to take. Absolute Clean Air came out three times in response to my problem - with the company's president coming on that final trip - and all for a total price of under $100. I don't know how I would have gotten to the bottom of this issue without their help and persistence. Rereading this I am struck again by how rare this sort of experience is. I recommend Absolute Clean Air absolutely and without reservation.

 + 0 moreI called and left a message this morning with my service call needs. I promptly received a call back from the owner, Neil. He is extremely polite, professional and courteous. Not only that, he had John at my door in less than 10 minutes from the conclusion of our conversation. Neil was able to work me into John's schedule between appointments. How often has that happened in your life....never? I was amazed at the immediate reaction to solving my issue. I expected to have an appointment set by maybe Monday due to Thursday being a HOLIDAY! My dryer is now drying large heavy towels in minutes versus HOURS. I've noted my calendar for 6 months to have a return dryer vent cleaning by ABSOLUTE CLEAN AIR! With the $$$ that I will be saving on my electric bill due to the restored efficiency of my dryer, I booked an appointment to have my air ducts cleaned for our a/c and heating unit. I look forward to having that done on July 15th. I'll let you know how that goes which i'm positive it will be uneventful, prompt and professional. Problems solved! Thank you Neil and John! Description of Work: After reviewing nearby firms that performed this service on Angie's list, we contacted this company regarding cleaning our dryer vent. (Unbelievably, builders in this area vent these through the roof rather than locating dryer on an outside wall for shorter, direct and safer venting) We were given the Angie's List member discount. As we were going to be home, called about 8:30 AM, hoping for "same day" service. Contractor made a 4:00 PM appointment and his employee arrived right on time. Employee was friendly but efficient. He answered any questions that we had. We had pulled dryer out ourselves prior to his arrival and he promptly went to work. The vent was cleaned from the inside with a power brush attached to a flexable line. Employee showed us how much build up was removed and then checked that the vent line was unrestricted with a power blower. A restriction was still detected and employee went on the roof to clean clogs from the vent cover. The vent was again checked for restriction from below. After he was satisfied that the vent line was clear, employee attached a new vent hose and set the dryer back in place. Using a broom, dust pan and plastic bag, employee cleaned up and bagged all the dust. All in all, a good, efficient job.

 + -1 moreTwo things that we weren't very appreciate of- They didn't clean behind the dryer and washer after they did the cleaning. They also left the washer and dryer moved out about three feet from the wall. We now have to go behind there to vacuum what they cleaned out and then move them back. They could have told us that they were leaving some of the debris and that they weren't pushing them back against the wall.

John, the technician, arrived at the house about 40 minutes early. He was quick, efficient and did a commendable job of cleaning up. The entire process took about 2 hours (3500 sq. ft. house). I thought the price was reasonable for the number of air vents that had to be done, and I was happy with the service provided. I would definitely use them again.

 + -1 moreThe service was totally ridiculous and a waste of money. They had an apparatus that did not go in more than 6 feet. I could have done a better job. They advertise they clean the entire duct system and that was not the case as they only cleaned a few feet into the vents. We basically over paid for a service that was partially provided. The equipment they used could not even cover the length of our vents and it felt like a scam. The guy who did the work was nice and he mentioned that he would rather clean carpets and not do the air duct cleaning service.
