+ -1 moreTopcat did a fine job with it's initial cleaning but an even better job with it's regular cleaning 2 weeks later. I've decided to have them clean every 2 weeks from now on. Their crews are friendly and respectful of your wishes and cherished items. I'm so happy to have found a company I can trust...Topcat charges by the hour and we have a fairly large house so our initial cleaning was $325.00. The next cleaning, 2 weeks later was $125.00. I would expect all subsequent cleanings to be in the $100-150 range depending on the amount of time needed.Thanks to Topcat, I'm not embarrassed to have neighbors stop by unexpectedly.. now I can invite them in and not have a dust bunny roll out from under the sofa and up to their toes!
Description of Work: Topcat cleaned everywhere! Bathrooms, bedrooms and offices.. all sparkled when they were done. The shower, sinks and the stainless appliances (my problem areas) looked brand new after the cleaning.

+ -1 moreI called them between the middle to end of March. They came out and I interviewed them. They explained they could not take any new customers in April. I waited until about the 5th-6th of May. When I called they said they would call back and I have not heard a peep out of them. I am upset that they would not tell me up front that they could not help me. I really thought they were nice but it seems they have just blew me off. I am not happy with the customer service.

Terri and Ron are very professional and accommodating in the few times I've had to reschedule or request a change in the time the crew came over to do their services. They do exactly what has to be done. They were very thorough and on time. Everybody form their crew spoke English, so we did not have any communication problems. They were fabulous.

+ -1 moreIt would be totally unfair for me to list any areas the three ladies may have missed/overlooked as they were called upon to do a mini recovery job at a moment's notice. The young lady who performed the cleaning of my Jacuzzi tub/shower and my glass walk-in shower did an amazing job. The three ladies were most pleasant, willing, and eager to please. I will call on them after the holidays to give us both another opportunity; not a last minute call-from-the-govenor stay of execution. Terri was extremely professional though friendly in her presentation and her follow-.up
Description of Work: I had a list typed out. Specific areas I wanted done. Must preface this by saying I put Terri's Top Cat in an almost impossible situation as both my daughter and I have been in poor health and the house had not been "done" in at least 12 months or more. The entire home was in need of an "after-a-disaster" recovery and I called Terri on Monday, 12/19/11. She was able to give me time on Tuesday 12/20/11. Amazing!

+ -1 moreThe place was so clean that I would not be ashamed to bring anyone in there now. The girls were very friendly and Terri was a complete joy to work with. I just told her what I wanted done and left. I was thrilled with the job they did. Her prices are very reasonable for all that they do. I would recommend them to everyone I know and will use them again for a second place in the family.
Description of Work: Terri Crimaldi and 2 employees cleaned my 24 x60 mobile home to absolute perfection. This place has not been occupied for 3 years. I had it rented for 2 years previous and the place was a MESS. The place is cleaner now than when my mother-in-law lived there 20 years ago and she was a clean fanatic. Terri and I went thru the place together and I told her what could be dumped and what to save and her crew did exactly as I asked. They cleaned the greasy stove and grimy bathrooms as well as all the other rooms. I was so pleasantly surprised.....Thank you Top Cat for a tip top job well done!!!!!!

+ -1 moreTeri and her team are great! We have only recently hired them but have years of experience with cleaning services in several cities. Our team led by Brenda does an outstanding job. They will even change your bed linens and make your beds if you leave the linens out for them. They are in and out in a timely manner, perform all work professionally and when I am at home are very friendly and engaging without being distracted from their duties. TopCat and their team are by far and away the best we have expereinced in the last 10years. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a service provider that understands the value of their customer adn delivers on their promises.

+ -1 moreFrom start to finish, Terri, Ron, and their crew were professional and just as nice as they could be. They were on time and didn't waste any time getting started. They have a game plan and they stick to it, but will deviate if needed, as I previously mentioned. They listened to me and asked me questions if I wasn't clear. I was hesitant to even hire a cleaning service because my first experience last year with another company was a disaster. Thankfully, I found Top Cat on Angie's List and all my fears have been laid to rest with them. They offered to clean anything and everything. I am a very distrusting person, but after meeting Terri and Ron and their crews, I can honestly say that I would not hesitate to give them the key to my house to come in and clean without me being home. As a norm, I do not let ANYONE in my house unless somebody is home. As an example of how nice and personable they are, I cut my finger while they were here for the second cleaning. It was pretty bad and would not stop bleeding. Ron took the time to help me put a bandaid on the cut. I don't normally need help with bandaids, but on that particular day I sure was glad he was there.
Description of Work: This was the second time I hired Top Cat Cleaning to clean my house. The first time was in July and they performed a deep cleaning, which was fantastic! The first cleaning cost $240 since it was a deep cleaning. Both times were well worth it. Terri and Ron and their crew went above and beyond my expectations of cleaning. The deep cleaning they performed included (but was not limited to): - dusting and floors in all rooms - microwave, sink and all counter tops in the kitchen--they even moved stuff off the counter tops to clean them; totally unexpected - dusting all stuffed animals in my bedroom, all of my fake flowers and nicknacks on the kitchen ledge, and all of my nicknacks in my office--hadn't been cleaned for months - vacuuming the cat perches and furniture --again, totally unexpected Even for the second cleaning they moved stuff to clean under, dusted my other nicknacks (and I have many!) and vacuumed the cat perches and furniture. Also for both cleanings, they took the extra time to clean the family bathroom first so I could put my fraidy cat in there so as not to upset her when they cleaned my office. I am just not used to this type of personal service, but I am certainly thankful that they go the extra mile. The added benefit is that they and their crews are super nice.

+ -1 moreI called Terry to come and clean my mom's house as she was busy taking care of my dad in the hospital. Terry gave me price over the phone and set a date to do the cleaning. She called my mom the day before with a time and was right on time. She and her helper cleaned for over 2 hours and as my mom said "they cleaned places I didn't even know needed cleaning!. She was very pleased with the level of service and the professionalism and responsiveness of Terry. I was impressed by her and her ability to work with my situation of paying her after the work and keeping within the agreed budget. I will definitely use Top Cat again.
Description of Work: Terry cleaned my mom's condo for me. They cleaned floors, counters, baseboards, and did everything my mom had on her to-do list and more.

+ -1 moreNot acceptable by any standards. Be cautious using this service. I believe if it is Terri or her husband performing the job, the service is much better (because they own the company and don't want unhappy customers or bad reviews). Understandably they can't do everything on their own and have to hire help, of which doesn't seem to care about other people's property as Terri does. However, it ultimately their responsibility to make sure employees are doing thorough jobs and not damaging people's property--hopefully they keep a closer eye in the future so others don't have the same experience I did.
Description of Work: I want to preface this review by saying that Terri and her husband were very nice to work with in the beginning, and when doing the initial deep clean, did a very thorough job. However quality and cleaning experience after that quickly went downhill. We were on an every two week schedule, and it seemed each time I would come home, there would be something new that had been "forgotten" or wasn't touched. Interior tubs would be "cleaned," but the surrounding top base would not (the garden tub top tile was ALWAYS dirty, and it was clearly apparent that no one picked up bottles or toys that might have been sitting on my son's tub in the guest bathroom to clean the surface underneath). The microwave cleaning would be touch and go. Dusting would be touch and go. So would cleaning the baseboards (that seemed to be a constant major issue, especially with me having a dog that sheds). Additionally, dirty rugs would be picked up and thrown over furniture so the floors could be cleaned, leaving the rugs on the furniture for us to find, and leaving us to have to clean the furniture (oftentimes it was our leather recliner, and that's absolutely disgusting). The price spent to clean is fair IF the service is thorough, but that wasn't the case with us. The final straw that broke the camel's back was the damage done to our home that I have either had to take care of, or will have to take care of in the future. I found scratches on our laminate floor, which I believe to have come from using a vacuum to clean them (laminate should be dust mop ONLY), and even after addressing this situation with Terri, who confirmed they were using a vacuum and said they would stop, I found more. My poor baseboards and doors showed new black marks and dings constantly from the vacuuming, as well. Additionally, I had to pay to replace a tile on the top-front of my garden tub that had a huge chip put in it--the girls who would come clean would oftentimes take our glass scale and put it on top of the tub to clean, my guess is the chip came from that. Regardless of *how* it happened, the fact is that it did happen and I had to pay to replace the tile. At some point, I will also have to pay to have the laminate boards replaced where the major scratches were made from the vacuum. It doesn't seem quite fair for me to have to pay for a service that requires me to have to pay to fix damages caused by THAT service... and there was never any offer to reimburse. I work hard to keep my house nice, and it seemed counterproductive to have a cleaning service come in and make things worse.

+ -1 moreI have given a key to Terri so the office can be cleaned on the weekends. They show up on their own without me having to be there. I can always tell when Top Cat has been here because the office smells so good when I get to work on Monday morning. I just wish my desk could stay this clean in between their cleans. This is the best cleaning company that I have ever used. I would have a hard time trusting anyone else with the key to my office.

They were all dressed nicely and neatly. I was glad that I was able to communicate in English with all of them. I could tell them exactly what I wanted. They did a really good job. They did not do the carpet or the windows, they vacuumed. They did all the kitchen cabinets and they did everything in the bathroom. They did an excellent job in the bathroom. They dusted the blinds. I thought that it was a fair price for what they did. They had four people come in and they worked here for five hours. They took care of any little extra things that I asked. When they came to give the estimate, they were late, but they called me informed about it.

+ -1 moreTerri's husband Ron showed up with two ladies who all did an initial cleaning for me. Later on Terri showed up with another lady and pitched in to help those already there. This is a very thorough cleaning company. They even cleaned the grout in between my tiles. Ron cleaned my glass top stove and got it cleaner than I ever have so it now looks like new. All of the people are very dedicated to cleaning as well as being friendly and personable. I was charged $65 an hour for the initial cleaning. Their prices are extremely reasonable and I have contracted to have them back on a bi-weekly basis. There will be the same three people every week cleaning my house (dust, vacuum, wash floors, clean bathrooms and outside of cabinets) for well under $100! These cleaners were recommended to me by my neighbor and they are used by several people in my neighborhood. I was very impressed with their prices as well as with their work. They cleaned beyond my expectations and are willing to use any products customers prefer for certain areas of their home (special countertop cleaner for granite tops). Judging from my neighbor's house the quality of their work remains high and doesn't deteriorate the longer you employ them.
Description of Work: This was an initial cleaning service. Three people showed up to clean. They dusted, cleaned kitchen and other cabinet fronts and countertops, scrubbed my bathrooms, vacuumed my rugs, washed all my tile floors - even paying attention to the grouting between the tiles and also dusted, even getting to my celing fans and the tops of cabinets/bookcases.
