When My wife dies after a year of illness, the house was in need of serious cleaning. They came in and did a deep cleaning of nearly everything - walls, blinds, ceiling fans, cabinets - everything! The original estimate was for a one day cleaning. It went over a day and a half, and they never asked for any more payment. I could tell that they were dedicated to getting the job done, regardless of the effort it needed.

We were very pleased with the service we received. They were flexible with scheduling and were able to fit us in quickly. Instead of pricing per hour, we were quoted a flat rate for the job. Their policy is to stay as long as it takes to complete the job, regardless of time. In our case, they ended up coming back the following day to finish up and ensure we received quality service. We were pleased by all the little details included in the cleaning, especially compared to other quotes we received.

Helping Hands with Betsy and her help was very through and really worked to get my home scheduled and taken care. I plan to use this service on a regular basis

Betsy and her crew cleans the bathrooms, bedrooms, carpet, hardwood floors, ceiling fans, plantation shutters, full kitchen cleaning, and does an excellent job!

I was wary because our previous house cleaner was lazy with a poor work ethic, staying only a couple of hours to clean a house that would take me 6+ hours to clean. The first couple of visits, Betsy was by herself, but stayed at least 6 hours in order to clean everything that needed to be done. She put extra effort into cleaning the jets on our whirlpool tub, which were an area of concern for me. She dusted walls, light fixtures, ceiling fan blades, floorboards behind TVs and polished our dark espresso bedroom furniture to a beautiful polish. She even polished the feet of our furniture, which is oddly one of the first things I always look at and were hardly ever done previously. She also manages to clean off the coating of hairspray that accumulates on our bathroom granite counter top every week. Betsy obviously has a strong work ethic and takes her jobs as a personal challenge. I have actually had to stop her from doing a couple of items, such as washing our sheets or our clothes, but only because those are personal items to me. Prior to Thanksgiving I can home to a freshly oiled front door. I didn?t ask her to do it, but she had noticed when she came in that it looked grungy and she knew we were having people over for the holidays. She does those extra things around the house to help contain the dog hair that is always floating around. She vacuums the furniture and runs a lint brush over our duvet so that the entire house looks hair free. She has also worked wonders on our hardwood floors to get their shine back. Unfortunately, her first few visits were spent catching our house up from our previous house keeper, who had taken us for a ride (and always asked us either for loans or advances on her salary). She earned that extra $20 that first visit and I haven?t regretting paying her the extra money since then. I trust her with a key to our home and I trust her with our pooches. She has not broken or stolen anything and I would feel very comfortable recommending her services. UPDATE: Just wow!!! I have never worked with anyone who takes such pride and joy in the work that they do. Betsy is absolutely AMAZING and part of me hesitates to say all of these things because I don't want to share her with anyone else. However...it's only fair to say that she is truly incredible. Just yesterday while she was here, she sent me a text to say she fluffed up our feather mattress pad. What? That's not part of what I would expect, but when I climbed into bed last night, well, just holy cow! I slipped into a cloud. I texted her to let her know how wonderful it felt and she said, "I thought you would enjoy that." Seriously. She's busy cleaning and has other customers waiting, but she stopped to add something that we would enjoy. You can't get that kind of work ethic and simple kindness just anywhere! I cannot sing her praises enough. If she doesn't have the right product to clean our home, then she buys it. That's how important her work is to her! I have had the pleasure of working wit her her for awhile now and felt that it was time to add to my original review. Betsy is spectacular and anyone would be a fool to not experience her magic!!!

Betsy and her crew did a very nice and thorough job. Betsy is very particular about completely cleaning the house, including light fixtures and window blinds. Beforehand, she goes through everything she plans on cleaning and afterwards goes back with the client to ensure satisfaction.

Betsy is great and very flexible when it comes to scheduling an appointment. I'm a recently separated guy in my 30's who works long hours and in a house this size I simply can't keep up with the cleaning alone partly thanks to the 3 parrots I own who are constant mess making machines (way worse than dogs and cats..). Betsy and her helper Caroline have come out to clean about a half dozen times now and being the first time I've ever hired a professional cleaner I didn't know what to expect but thought I would have to walk around telling them what needed to be cleaned. Instead, they were the ones asking me the questions "want me to change these sheets? how about wash these dishes?". They left no stone unturned - she was on her hands and knees scraping soap scum off the bathtub that had been there so long I forgot what a clean white bathtub looks like. Her assistant was also very thorough and quick to boot. She had all the floors swept and mopped in no time, including hard to reach spots like underneath the couch and behind the TV area (which collect dust like nobodies business thanks to the birds). I feel lucky to have found Betsy (actually my Mother did when she was in town) because my house always looks amazing after they leave, and for the price I am really happy I didn't go for one of the more corporate outfits in town that charge a bundle, and then underpay their employees who then do a half-hearted job (and can you blame them?). I would recommend Helping Hands Cleaning to anyone who values great service at an amazing price from trustworthy and friendly people.
