About us

A full service preventive maintenance and repair facility located in the middle of downtown Punta Gorda. We are family owned and run and have been in this same location for 22 years. We have the technical support and equipment to repair both domestic, foreign, and exotic vehicles, as well as most small and medium trucks. Additional DBA - Automobilia Inc, Gregg's Automotive Maintenance & Repair Center.

We are the innovators and author of our INSIDERS CAR CARE CLUB, which is an opportunity to save over $500.00 in preventive maintenance services.

Due to size restrictions, there are some services that we cannot perform on-site. We utilize reparable local business's that work with us in these instances. Because of our relationships we are able to provide a one stop shopping atmosphere. Just let us do the driving!

Description of Work: They did not fix the issue I asked them to, but tried to sell me a different service - which I did need, but couldn't afford - for $1200.

[member name removed], by the tone of your response I can only imagine that the starter had failed again. If it did then I apologize. It was so full of oil from the ruptured oil filter and we tried to save it. We installed your parts as you requested and we just tried to make you aware of the problems we had found in your brakes system. In fact the brakes were in such bad condition that they were UNSAFE, and the vehicle had no brake lights flashers or tail lights. I thought that the fact that I towed the vehicle back to your home at no cost to you was an indication of just how UNSAFE your vehicle was. I am deeply sorry that you were not happy with us and I hope that you find a repair facility more to your liking. Gregg Marrapodi

Mr. [member name removed], I am thoroughly confused by this review. We installed spark plugs and a fuel filter in July, had quoted you a price of $344.00 which you accepted and delivered the vehicle. One month later you asked us for a quote on 7 coils, we quoted you Motorcraft coils, installed with an 18,000mile and 18month Nationwide warranty and a 6month 6000mile extension to us which adds up to 24,000miles and 24 months. You said that you would have your friend do it and we agreed. We didn't charge you for anything, I believe that we were professional and quoted you a fair price and a spectacular warranty. Now you have written our review confusing the 2 incidents and I feel that it is misconstruing the information. We have not been winners of the Best in Charlotte County for10 years and best in county by Florida Weekly by being unprofessional.

Great!
Description of Work: Chris is an exceptionally nice guy. He pointed out things that were wrong but because of the age of my car weren't worth fixing. They aren't the cheapest, but the service was very professional and the experience pleasant. I took my daughter's truck in because I was so impressed with their honest assessment and service. Also a few days before this service I had an emergency and Chris fit me into the day so I could have my car to drive the 30 miles away that I live in englewood.
