Creative Design In Concrete

I have to say I originally picked this company because he told me he uses Renew-Crete. I had researched the product and found great info on it and was happy with the product. Brian Mercer the owner of Creative Designs in Concrete, sat down and explained the process and what he was using and gave me a whole book of jobs to look at. Well... that is a well rehearsed act he has. They never prepped my deck the way he said they would. He told me the surface would be about 1/4 inch thick, it is barely 1/16 inch and less in some places. They were messy, I had to have a company come in and vacuum my pool 4 times then I had to get a chemical to clean the water. After all that I had to replace my filter housing from the build up and pressure cracked the top. My friend used the same company and her deck looks terrible and she also had to replace her filter. Maybe a coincidence I can't say. He is very nasty when put on the spot, he claims he is an ex cop here in Charlotte County. Well all of that didn't scare me at all. I told him I did't care who he thought he used to be, his work is terrible and he doesn't care about cheating customers with the crappy work. I asked him if he had any pride in what he did for a living. I did call Renew-Crete while he was here because he was lying to me about the product, so I got the owner on the phone and Brian admitted to him that he was not using Renew-Crete. The owner told me that and the fact Brian Mercer has not bought product from him in years. He also explained Renew-Crete doesn't bubble and pit. The whole process has been exhausting and my deck looks horrible it is cracking and bubbled. I am very upset about the whole situation. My yard was made a mess, my screens, windows, furniture, etc. I would NEVER recommend them to ANYONE! Stay far way from this company. I have to have another company come in and remove this deck and redo the whole thing. This new company stated he has seen a lot of work coming his way from Creative Designs disasters.
