We decided on Petri for termite tenting because they were a LOCALLY OWNED FAMILY business. In fact, Petri did not do the Termite tenting, they SUB-CONTRACTED the work out to a company we never heard of. Why did I do extensive research to hire a locally owned company who advertises honesty and integrity since 1956 (just check out the "promise" list on their website) if a completly different company is going to show up. What a waste of my time and what a dishonest way to do business. These people have access to my property and I don't even know anything about them? I don't think so. When the sub-contracted company showed up I immediately called Petri to send someone over to explain why another company was working on my house. The representative was not happy at all to have to come over and talk to me. When I asked him why he lied and told me his company would do great work and all their workers have background checks, he stated and this is a quote, " I didn't lie, you didn't ask me if we sub-contracted." Unbelievable. I started pointing to various workers around my house asking him if his knew the background results of any of them. He didn't even know their names. I cannot recommend Petri because they did not do the work. I am satisified with the end result of the contracted company but I was a nervous wreck to leave my house unattended during the tenting due to recent robberies associated with tenting.

Their customer service is amazing. You call them and they are nice and polite. They are highly rated in Angies List and that is why I chose them. I have ants all over my house and they have been back at least six times to my house. They will send the service person right away but still there are ants everywhere. I have been with other companies and they spray everywhere and you don’t see ants for a month or two, or every once in while you do a call back. So it is either the products they are using or the quality of the material or whatever it is really not good. Their customer service is good and they will be jumping over to come over and fix it and they will. But who wants to sit at home once a week, make a phone call, and have them come into the house and add more chemical. They are top rated but I am not pleased at all. They are coming and fixing the problem but every week I am sitting at home for somebody and it is not just right. Price wise they are the same as the others. My previous company was $31 a month and they are $30 a month. A dollar cheaper, they are 3% cheaper. If they were doing a better job for the price I am paying it would have been good. Quality of their work and product is where they are lacking. They respond right away. I won’t use them again.

Firstly if my experience is an indication the only time you will ever meet someone from Petri is when you sign the contract and pay the 50% deposit. After that point ALL work is subcontracted out to others. Just be aware that the workers that come into your home are NOT employees of Petri and these crews may change and licensing of sub crews is not required. My home was burglarized during this process. This has turned into a very expensive experience for me. The truly frustrating part of this is that it all could have been avoided if they would just return phone calls. I called them the afternoon before we were scheduled to come home and asked them to call me when the tent came off. The woman that answered the phone at Petri said "I don't know if I can find your job but I'll try". She never called back so I called the salesman and left a message about what I'd like to know and he never called back. The home was burglarized dturing the night after the tent was removed but before we had the go ahead to re-enter the home. If they had called back and let me know that the tent was taken off that afternoon I could have had the neighbor park their cars in the driveway and turned on some exterior lights and almost certainly avoided this experience. The other thing is the salesman promised he would stop by the day before the tenting and check that everything was prepared appropriately for the tenting. He did NOT do so. We were therefore running around like crazy with the subcontractors trying to just throw a tent over the house before we could get our things out. In the mess I realized I had forgotten to leave the trapdoors to the attic open which is where the termite infestation was. I still don't know if our attic was treated. The attic door was closed when I left and closed when I returned. I doubt that the attic full of termites was even treated. I would avoid these people. Who knows who will be in your house or who is checking up on them. They can't even be bothered to honor their word or return phone calls and only show up to bill you.

They know what they are doing and are very competent and reliable. They are also very honest. The pricing is a little bit expensive but I definitely think I get what I pay for in this case.

He has done really good work. My client that I called him for and he had another appointment that he missed with her and I don't recall what day it was for and actually I need to call him and reschedule that and she told me he didn't show up.

They do annual termite inspection in addition to the monthly treatments and they are very reliable and reasonably priced. The people who do the work are the same every time which is nice.

They showed up on time and job was done well.

Kevin is very professional, personable, and thorough. They are very responsive, very excellent office. They try to be very accomodating. They get rid of my ants.

The initial contact was very pleasant, an appointment for estimate scheduled soon after. They were kind enough to give me the "one time treatment" I asked for, while we decide if we want to keep the hedge and bear the cost of yearly maintenance, now that Broward Co. is infested with white fly. The salesman described the treatment; a systemic chemical delivery with a rod like tool, a topical spray, and surface,time released granules. When the nice technician came out, he did put down granules, and sprayed the bottom 1/3 of our (admittedly too high ficus 12-15'), the estimate sketch says 103' in length. When I inquired about the systemic treatment, he didn't know what I was asking about. We waited several weeks, they said the treatment would take time. I called twice. I E-mailed. I received no acknowledgement of my contacts, or complaint. It took my husband to send a letter to get their attention. Resolution began immediately. We received a call, and the supervisor Kevin came out himself and retreated the areas including the previously omitted sub-soil root treatment. They followed up, did what was contracted, and we hope our white fly problem is solved for this season. I was told the service comes with a 6 mo. guarantee, I plan to contact them for assurance this begins from 12/5/11, when the service was done satisfactorily. It is difficult to rate on a scale, as my two experiences with them were so different.

Both gentlemen were very polite, helpful, and competent. The first guy ended up pitching and selling a one year contract for extermination services, but was not pushy at all, and even left the house so that my wife and I could discuss. So far, I've seen a 99% reduction in ants which was the major issue I had. If by the end of the one year contract, my home is still (relatively) ant free, you can bet I'll sign for another year. Overall: Highly recommended

Very good customer service over the phone. As far as the eradicating the problem completely, I won't know until a few months from now. Need to reapply treatment in 5 months. They were very prompt and came right away. I was very concerned about loosing my trees like everyone else in Broward County is.

I have used them for 30 years and they have always done a good job and are very reliable. They come out when they say they are and I will use them again in the future. I have never had a problem with them in all these years.

They are courteous. They ask questions that we may not think of saying something to them about. They basically look for problems that we may not quite know we have. They are proactive.

It has been good so far as I have not seen any bugs. It was not cheap but it was worth it. I paid for the whole year and so, if I need them, I can call them and they would come anytime. They could have been a little bit cheaper. Their representative was constantly getting phone calls and texts. I was not sure if it was business related or personal related but he constantly kept answering his phone which I thought was unprofessional. It was kind of strange. I will be moving out to the other side of Florida next year.

It was $125 for the initial treatment plus $60 every other month (a one year contract). The bi-monthly treatment is on the exterior only. But I call anytime for someone to treat the interior. The man who came out the next day was very professional & knowledgable and found the ant nests in logical locations to where I'd had ants. He promised to call in two weeks to treat again, if necessary. Of course, just short of two weeks later, the ants rearrived, and he is coming out again within 24 hours. Controlling ants is tough in South Florida. I'm happy with the service. Now, if I see ants AGAIN in two weeks, I'll be sure to let you know!

They came right out the day I called them. Their price was reasonable. They were not extremely reasonable. Their maintenance stuff was good. The people who came were very friendly. I would use them in the future.

They come on a bimonthly basis. They fertilize the yard and shrubbery as well as spray weed killer to make sure that there are no grubs or anything like that. They don’t do any yard work. Their price is competitive. I would use them again in the future.

They are very professional, have not had any bugs and pest problems since we have hired them.

After the initial treatment, they set up a program to spray my lawn every other month. So after just 4 treatments my lawn is back to being beautiful! I thought I was going to have to resod - I never would've guessed that it could look this good again! Their program is actually less expensive than the fertilizers we were buying at Home Depot & Lowe's - and we didn't have to do the work! They also treat my trees and shrubs and they have never looked more beautiful. At the initial consultation, Julio said it would take 6 months to get my lawn back in to shape and he was right on the money with the timeframe. They always showed up as scheduled and left a detailed service report as to the condition of my lawn and how it was treated.

We bought a house in Florida and found ants. We called a few places and Petri's were prompt to call me back and their prices were reasonable. I would highly recommend them. We have had very good luck with them. I will call them up and they send some one next day. They are quick at returning calls and sending service. I am sure there are cheaper companies out there but the price was not too bad.

A sales consultant/inspector came to the house first to inspect the problem. He was prompt and very knowledgeable. I wanted only a one time treatment. He told me the price and then gave his pitch about quarterly treatments and explained the deal. He was not pushy when I declined the contract service. He then immediately scheduled an appointment for treatment. The exterminator technician came out a few days later and did a great job! He was on time and very friendly. He was very thorough, even taking off the outlet covers to get to the treatment sites. He treated inside and out and was very diligent about covering all possible sites. I am very happy with the service and have seen no ants since the treatment.

The evaluator showed up on time, was friendly and professional and did not push for extra services. I inquired about some additional services and he answered, but again, did not try to push these additional services. The service was done by one guy who also showed up on time, was friendly and professional. The whole house was done in less than 2 hours. It's been a month and a half and so far, so good. I liked that they were a local small business. If I need extermination services again, I will definitely use these guys. Very positive experience. As for price, they're price is the market price.

We were very pleased with them. I have recommended them to others. Price was fair and in line with other estimates I received.
