What a mistake! I have two Windows I haven't been able to use for at least a year. Maker of the Windows,Custom Window Systems, came out three or four times and they concluded it was the installers (Assured) fault the Windows keep breaking. I have been working with Assured supplier as well because Assured attitude is its not their problem once it's installed but it never worked from the beginning. I called today to tell them that the permits (that Assured agreed to pay) have expired and now I can't start any more work on my house. They told me they will only re-instate them when I am ready to have it inspected. Said"how can I have town come and have it inspected when two Windows will come crashing down and you will fail" Plus, which I didn't even get to say, one bracket came out of our shutters and they agreed to fix that months ago and they haven't. I am put on hold and as she switches back I hear someone yelling " I am done with this f@@king lady" What did I do wrong? I hung up phone after that.

Assured Storm Protection has a professional staff and competitive pricing. I used them twice over 2 years and I had the same sales person and the some of the same installers. This is Amazing in S.FL where there are so many transient workers. Work was done on time and right the first time.

Very well and done in a good time period

The salesman was excellent. He was on time and very informative. My grievance is not with him, but the OWNER who was extremely dismissive and aggressive on the phone. My issue was the 5% they tack on if you choose to finance. This is not stated on the website, nor is there an option to click on the icon. I contacted the office to verify and the lady confirmed. Then the owner, whom I heard in the background, asked for her to give him the phone. He went on to say that he pays 6.5% and the salesman should have charged me that. He stated he's not going to lose money for a deal and that he needs to make a profit. If I don't want to pay the fee then I can do business elsewhere, he doesn't want my business. I was so appalled by this man's lack of professionalism. It was a simple question and I wanted him to be aware that this is not stated on the website which is misleading for customers. I spoke to him calmly and all I got was aggression from him. I was going to pay the 5% the salesman quoted me regardless, but because of the harshness of the "Owner", I could not possibly do business with a person like that. The first thing that comes to mind is warranty issues. If he treated me that way I can't imagine how a conversation about honoring a warranty would go. My intentions were to call the salesman today and give him the deposit so we could get on the books and recommend him to my parents and grandmother, a total of 3 houses. That ship has sailed.

Excellent work. They did the job quickly and efficiently, cleaned up very well, and the shutters look beautiful. We are thrilled with the result.

Perfect Installation and quality product

I am writing this review to document the great experience I had with Assured Storm Protection. Upon the recommendation of a friend, I contracted with them for 20 Accordion shutters to replace the old galvanized steel shutters which came with the home when it was built. My first contact in early February was with the sales representative, Robert who was on time for the appointment and called to confirm around a half hour before his arrival. He was knowledgeable about the product and answered all my questions regarding the few concerns I had. About 2 weeks later I received a call from Ed, one of the engineers and we made an appointment for him to come to our home to check dimensions and go over the project. Ed was also on time. He spent about 45 minutes measuring each opening and going over the job with me in detail. I visited the office after the job was measured and I was received by Barbara who was very courteous. She referred me to Massimo, one of the engineers. I let him know that I was changing insurance companies and had to have a new wind mitigation inspection so I needed the job completed by the end of March. Massimo assured me that he would make it happen. Shortly thereafter I received a call from Rachel who set up the installation appointment for March 28th. She told me that the installation crew would be arrive between 9 and 10 AM. I called to confirm the installation appointment the day before and was told we were on schedule. The installation crew arrived at exactly 9:30AM so we were off to a great start. Paulo and his crew were courteous, professional and careful with patio furniture and surrounding shrubs. Each of the 20 units were installed meticulously and efficiently. All 20 units were installed that day, The old shutter system was removed and carted away. All holes from the old system were caulked as well as the new system. They put back all the patio furniture and vacuumed around the installation before they left. There was one small clear panel that was supposed to be included on one of the units and for some reason was not. Paulo made a note on his paperwork and the very next day he returned around 4:30 PM and installed the panel. Being a retired replacement window contractor, I am very much aware of the mechanics of these type of projects. I must say that there were zero issues with the product and the installation provided by Assured Storm Protection. I would highly recommend them for a stress free, professional installation.

Amazingly, this was actually a project where absolutely everything went very well. I used the Angie's List ratings to select a few highly-rated companies to consider. Our selected company - Assured Storm Protection (ASP) - had a price that was very competitive and ended up being the price that we actually paid (there were no surprises). The quality of the shutters and ease of operation was quite good. There were no problems with installation and work was finished in half a day. When the county inspector came, he actually pointed out a number of features that ASP used that exceeded the county code.

Ron provided excellent customer service and always returned my calls promptly. Assured Storm Protection had the lowest price of the three companies I contacted. Jeter was a great installer and left the house in great shape after all the demo. I would gladly hire this company again.

It went great! they were very professional and punctual from the initial appointment for the estimate thru installation and inspection.

I had been putting off getting accordion shutters and impact glass for several years. I was just replacing shutter panels so there was no urgency. But once I got an estimate from Assured Storm Protection it just seemed very easy to get the job done. And it was. There was the usual 6 or so weeks wait. The installation was setup for a Friday like I asked. The window installers showed up first, followed by the garage door and then the accordion shutters. All installed in one day. There was a minor adjustment needed and that was taken care of within a week. Everyone has been easy to work with, from the sales person who was very helpful and responsive, to the installers etc. Thanks for making this a pleasant experience.

Fine work by professional workers who did the job correctly and quickly. Clean up was great and required no repairs to surrounding areas of windows (either inside or outside). I would recommend this company to friends.

I was very satisfied, a seamless process

I am very happy. From the moment I contacted them I have been well taken care of. I received communication prior to the install. I was provided all the documents needed for my HOA approval. The salesman answered all my questions and explained the product well. Even some extras I ended up seeing as valuable. The job cost was very acceptable even with the extras. The shutters look and work awesome. I got everything I was promised they would be. The crew who installed were excellent. The work looks great, neat level, done with care to my house. I was impressed that they caulk sealed holes from old missing anchor plugs not covered by new frame. This was not expected and greatly showed professional workmanship. My walls where left in same condition ( flawless) when they completed. The walk through i was given all the time needed to learn how to open and close the shutters ( showed me useful tricks to make easy) and suggestion to push lock button stored open to make sure cavity does not get dirt or bugs on it. They were friendly, well mannered, left my grounds free of trash and material. Start to finish I have been pleased, be assured I will speak of this company positively when approached by neighbors.

From the initial estimate, through engineering, through permitting, and on through installation, all members of the team handling my job were responsive, prompt, professional, and highly competent. The time from estimate to job completion was about 5 weeks, which was within the promised time frame, and Assured took care of all city permitting and inspections. The actual garage install included the removal of my existing garage, and the entire tear-down and install took only two hours. The actual shutter installation involved 14 separate sets (windows and sliding doors), and was completed in approximately 5 hours. The installation crews were swift yet thorough, and left the job clean and without any debris. I recommend this company without hesitation.

They were on time with all appointments, knowledgeable, friendly, and complete. The workers covered the furniture and cleaned up well when finished. They did my condo in one morning and was done. I am happy I chose them as they fulfilled all they said they would and followed up to ensure all was done to my satisfaction. Job well done.

Included labor, materials, installation, removal of old accessories and caulking and repair of all previous wall damage and anchors. Also included the permitting requirement. The salesman Robert was punctual and very professional. An engineer then came to remeasure and confirmed the quote. The installers were also very professional, prompt, courteous, and cleaned everything up when they completed the job. I am very pleased and would highly recommend this company.

The salesman Greg came to my house and told me all the options and I decided to go with CGI windows. The engineer Keith came and confirmed the measurement and couldn't have been more pleasant. He helped me with my HOA. The day of installation everything went smooth. Greg even came over to re-assure my wife. The inspection from the building department was a breeze.
