This is the second time we used Keefe Electric. Chris and his sons Installed two new lines to two air conditioners on sunporch and installed new line to service grills on deck. Previously in December they found a short in our electrical system (lights/fixtures didn't work in two rooms). They were very professional and considering the time it took to find the problem the price they charged was surprisingly reasonable. Would definitely use them again!!!

Chris and Jeremy were spot on time. Very polite and more then reasonable on the price. They had to come out a 2nd time because they did not have a part that was needed but did not charge me a 2nd trip charge. They worked fast and efficient. Total hours charged was 1.5 hours. When they were finished they cleaned up the mess and were on time as promised.
Description of Work: Chris and Jeremy installed an electrical outlet for an over the range Microwave and mounted the Microwave. They also mounted and installed a new kitchen lite fixture.

When estimate for work was requested, Chris came out the following day and received estimate in 48 hours. The work was done in a timely manner and all employees involved were very professional. Chris has done work for us in the past and we were very pleased with his price and quality of work. We will definitely use this company in the future. He even cleaned a dormer window in the foyer that was too high for us to reach without a 20+ foot ladder. Thank you Chris - you are the best!

Call 5 electric to come out to fix my problem but Keefe elect was the only one that came out to sunnyhills to fix my problem bravo/Zulu to the company.
Description of Work: Had a trip elect breaker the breaker had to be switch back and forth a few times power to the switch was restore.

Bad customer service by the receptionist Shauna. I called to find out why the contractor didn't show up. She argued with me and refused to admit she forgot to write down my appt time and date. She even said I never called. Today I decided to give them a second chance. The same receptionist answered the phone and plainly told me they didn't need or want the job. I ask her y, she began to tell me she didn't know y. The contractor called me a few moments later and said he didn't need the job nor want it because he said I made up the appt and had never called and spoke to no one even though they had my address on the board. All I asked was that she admit she made a mistake. It is clear to me this company is so rich they can turn down large sums of $ and projects. It is also clear to me that he is more concerned with his receptionist than potential clients.

I was just made aware of this negative feedback from a customer yesterday (11-12-13) as soon as I read it, I knew exactly who it was from. With 100% certainty, I can say that Mrs. Roberts DID NOT contact our office and make an appointment. It is my belief that she was calling #'s out of a phone book and simply made the mistake of writing down the wrong contractor or when the appointment was a no show, got the phone book back out and thought it was us she had originally called. I have an excellent memory and remember her call to me on my cell, which is listed in the phone book with our office #. She asked me why we were not there at 2:30. I was caught off guard and told her i would call the office and see what had happened because I was unaware of this service call. Shauna, my receptionist of over 5 years, (who I am complimented about frequently for her professionalism and politeness), said she had never spoke with her and definitely did not make an appointment with her. Shauna never makes appointments without gathering the callers info, most importantly the address, time that would be convenient for the customer, calling me to find out when I or one of our service techs would be available and then returning the call and setting a date and time. This did not happen. When Shauna called Mrs. Roberts back to explain that she must have the wrong contractor, she got very rude and demanded that Shauna admit her mistake. Shauna keeps excellent notes and writes down literally every call that come in with the date, time and nature of the call. She keeps these and stores them for future reference and they are extremely handy to have. When I realized how upset Shauna was and how rude Mrs. Robert had been, I personally called her back to let her know how I felt. She originally said she had called on Tuesday, when I explained to her that I was in the office with Shauna all day on Tuesday, she said, "well maybe it was Monday, I don't know" Approximetly 1 week later I got a call from a lady asking if I could send someone by to look at an electrical issue she was having, I said no problem, whats the address? It was Mrs. Roberts not even realizing who she was calling. When I told her I remembered her from last week, she said "Oh Ya, well can you come out and take a look?" I told her absolutely not! She said what are you so rich that you don't need anymore work? I explained that no we were not rich, we just didn't need the work that bad that we needed to deal with that kind of customer. Had she of apologized and just gave us the benefit of the doubt that she may have made a mistake, we would have been glad to take care of her. We do not take negative reviews lightly and we work hard to keep an excellent reputation. It is a shame that we have this baseless, negative feedback for a missed appointment that we never made. We are having another successful year this year and we are currently on job #368 with all positive feedback from our customers.
