They were a little expensive. I would use them again if I couldn't find anyone cheaper.

They are doing a really good job. They come out every other week. They are good people that come in and I have been using them for three years. I will continue to use them.

I have been very disappointed in the service provided by Merry Maids. The quality of the cleaning varies from week to week depending on who they send to my home. The job is not thorough - for example they don't dust anything above eye level, the drip pans on my stove have been left dirty a few times and they have and quot;forgottenand quot; to clean the mirrors in one or both of the bathrooms a few times. In addition, I have a wine rack and one of the bottles of expensive wine was broken during one of the cleanings. They left a note apologizing for breaking the wine and said I'd be discounted on my next cleaning, but that never happened. That was several months ago and to date it has never been mentioned by Merry Maids and I have never been compensated for the wine. I have an alarm system on my home as well. Merry Maids has the codes to turn the alarm off and on. However they seem to send different people each time who don't have the codes and they've set off my home alarm 5 times in the past 6 months. ADT has called me each time and the police have been dispatched once. I've called Merry Maids each time this has happened and they have verified they have the correct codes so I don't understand why they set the alarm off so often. Plus I can tell how long they were there based on when the alarm is turned off and on. There is usually only 1 person assigned to clean my home and she never spends even an hour in my home cleaning! On average she is there between 48-55 minutes according to my alarm history. I don't understand how one person - or even two - can do a thorough job cleaning a 3 bedroom 2 bath home in under an hour! This service is very expensive for the low quality of work being done. Will NOT be renewing my contract with them.

I began using Merry Maids after my private cleaning lady decided to accept a corporate job for health insurance purposes. The owner of the franchise (Winter Park office ) came to my home to clarify what would be done for each bi-weekly cleaning, and gave me a price. I felt the price was reasonable, and gave them my credit card number and key. The first clean was longer and more expensive - no problem by me. I was happy with their work. Over 20 yrs - I have had private cleaners and services. I understand that occassionaly little things get missed sometimes... a waste basket liner or 2 not replaced, an occassional table not dusted, etc, etc.. After 18 months of continuous service - the cleaner forgot to dust our dining table - 3 out of 4 cleans. The white tile floor where my hubby and I sit - obviously missed - 2 out of 4 cleans.. I decided that the quiet credit card customer needed to make her 1st call in a year and half. Small items - maybe - but I thought I would bring it up - that is usually all it takes - a reminder to be careful, really. The owner came out with the and quot;ladiesand quot; on the next clean and so did I. As they were cleaning, I showed him the items that were being missed --- and he became very haughty and rude. He continued with this, and demanded that I inspect each area (after loudly asking the ladies if they had and quot;finishedand quot; the area). Actually, to my discomfort - I complied - and had to point out unclean spots on the floor that had been missed, tables that obviously had not been dusted, etc. He got very agitated and declared that I was too picky and could never be and quot;satisfiedand quot;. I tried to point out that I had been a happy customer for a year and a half, and had for the first time started noticing some items being missed, and only wanted to get us back on track. I did assure him that I had been happy with the service. He couldn't deal... He was very rude and made a very theatrical display of giving my key back that day. I've never been so shocked by a supposed professional's behavior before! This is a very late story - hopefully he is not with Merry Maids anymore... but beware.

At the moment I have them come in bi-weekly to do the things I have trouble doing. The ladies are pleasant and professional.

They did a good job, but I always had to remind them to make make my bed. They did not come in when they were supposed to- they were always late.

They are established.

We had been a customer of theirs for 10 years and used them ever Wednesday. They randomly decided to change their schedule without consulting us about it. When we decided to change services to another company, they didn't even seem to care. After dropping them it took a month just to get our key back as well. They were good workers but it was difficult to talk to them because the ones sent pretty much could only speak Spanish.

It went good. They did everything and more that they said they would do. I was really happy with the service. They were on time, efficient, and thorough.

We have been using them for 2 years now. They are great!
