Description of Work: Eric is a man of his word. He and his crew did a phenomenal job. I needed new sod, mulch, and river rock installed, old bushes/hedges/old sod removed, and a portion of my backyard leveled. All of this was done in two days (would have been one, but they needed to fix the bobcat for leveling) If you need any kind of landscaping services done, these guys are definitely the go to.

Description of Work: Work to be performed: Mulching, fertilizer, and possible small palm removed. We were very upfront with our needs. We purchased a package through Angie's list. When I signed up, there was an area to fill in the top three dates that we wanted if available. Apparently none of those dates were acceptable so we chose a few others. Those were not available either. The owner wanted to come out the next day, which we could not do since we still had to buy the supplies. When we asked for a date the following week, he said it was too far out and we should request a refund. It made no sense since the offer did not expire till August and this was February or early March. When I wrote back and asked the "gentleman" to give us a few choices in dates, he never even bothered to respond. We never even got the chance to have work performed. We have a copy of our emails to this company in case Angie's list wanted to see how unreasonable this guy was. We were always polite and never wrote anything that could be considered offensive. It really appeared that he just did not want to perform the work or he just wanted everything his way. This business was a nightmare to deal with. Angie's list did refund our money. Frankly, I think we dodged a bullet.

I am seriously thinking of making him my lawn care professional because of his superior work ethic. The man is genuinely nice, and I enjoyed working with him.

 + 1 moreLong ran into traffic coming so he was a little late but once there he did a great job. He worked quickly and efficiently and I would definitely hire him again.
Description of Work: Cleaned up leaves, removed plants, planted new plants, picked up lots of tree branches and bag them for pick up by trash service. He did everything that was asked of him.

 + -1 moreEric Davenport and his crew were right on time to my house in Winter Park and got to work right away after we discussed what i wanted accomplished. They did a fantastic job and i couldn't have asked for more. They cleaned everything up and even went the extra step of cleaning up some things i hadn't even asked for. My yard looks great again and i am very happy with their work. I only wished i had scheduled a few more hours of their time because they did such a great job.
Description of Work: Trimmed hedges, bamboo and did a great spring cleaning of the yard.

 + 0 moreEric Davenport is really dedicated to customer satisfaction. He asks for feedback and is very responsive. We have also used him to procure and spread our mulch and he will remove a tree for us as well, so he can do it all. It is a pleasure to work with Eric and to see the wonderful results.
Description of Work: We have had two previous lawn service companies for our house but noticed that several of our neighbors yards looked much better. They all referred me to Davenport so I gave him a try. The $130 per month fee was higher than what I had been paying, but these guys do everything to include keeping all our bushes trimmed and fertilizing, so it's quite a good value.

 + -1 moreWe had tried several lawn care companies and could not find one that provided consistently good service. We had to spend an inordinate amount of our time, monitoring the work that was supposed to be done and following up on services that were not done correctly or were incomplete. We have never had the problem with Davenport - it has been the opposite. Our lawn looks much better than it did when Davenport took it over and the one-time needs we've had have been promptly and professionally completed at very reasonable prices. The owner, Eric has consistently followed up with us to make sure everything is going well. He has even brought issues to our attention before we became aware of them. The crews have been efficient, neat and careful with our yard and home. Eric has always been very pleasant and professional to work with. We would not hesitate to recommend Davenport Lawn Service to our friends, family or neighbors.
