JT did an incredible job inspecting a new home purchase. Everything went flawlessly. Booked on short notice. Arrived on time and went through everything. Called me after inspection to go over major issues. Received 80 page report next day with photos and detailed descriptions of every problem. Great experience.

The service was several years ago, when I wasn't even an Angie's List member yet, or the company! But I wanted to let everyone know that JT Edgren is a fantastic home inspector. He is very professional, very thorough on his inspection (spending many hours) and extremely detailed in the report he provides. And something else that I really appreciate it that he offered to help if I ever needed him. And it's true - I had to call him a couple of times when those mysterious house troubles we all can't seem to get away from had me stumped or when I needed a recommendation - and JT always answers, which is fantastic seeing the fact that he would not have anything specific to gain from helping a customer from years ago. So with that said, I highly recommend Mr. Edgren as your home and wood-destroying organism inspector.

It went very well. They were thorough and easy to work with. They took pictures of everything and sent me a report that had all the pictures as well the writeup on it. They found something that was not a big deal but was still an item of interest. They talked to me about it and told me what I could do to take care of it. So, I was very pleased with their work. They were also definitely there a little early which was fine.

He was very helpful and friendly. He paid great attention to detail and gave us a lot of information while he was completing the inspection. He was very good. I would definitely recommend him.

I believe that they were very professional and they did a good job. We are happy with the service they provided.

He was very good and wrote a thorough analysis paper on the inspection. I used two or three other inspectors. I even showed them the paperwork he provided and they were impressed. I would rate him one of the top home inspections. However, he did not have the infrared camera that catches the temperature and that is a very important aspect for me. He was very good at explaining everything to me during the inspection.

JT from CFBI saved our hides on two almost home purchases. The third try he found several problems but we were able to get the contractor to fix them. I think that he did a wonderful job. They were very courteous and extremely professional. They were punctual and actually arrived early. They were very thorough and they provided a computerized report.

He was probably the most thorough home inspector that we have encountered. I have had many inspections and I have never had one of such great quality. He had state of the art tools that could measure insulation, water, termite, and other damages. He spent about seven hours on the inspection and generated a twenty page analysis on the inspection. If you are going to buy a house, I would definitely have him inspect the house.

It was great! I was in a bine for time and they were the only ones in the area who could get it done quickly. It was unique job where they completed a water analysis.

First off, I called on Sunday night to leave a message inquiring about the service and cost and their office manager Joe actually answered the call, provided the quote, and schedule the inspection - on a Sunday evening!! JT and Corey came out for the inspection, arrived on time, and spent about 4.5-5 hours on site performing the inspection. They were extremely detailed and very professional. They always stopped to answer questions that we had. Prior to a formal debrief with us and the 2 realtors, they pulled me as the prospective buyer aside to give me a heads up on a couple of significant issues they found with the house (plumbing and siding). They then did a formal debrief with all parties right on site as they pulled up the photos taken on the laptop and walked us through everything. They followed up with almost a 100 page inspection report with detailed photos the next morning. What I really appreciated was the technology they utilized, especially the infrared heat sensor as it was able to detect areas of poor insulation coverage in a few different spots on the home. The report was the best I have seen on an inspection and was extremely detailed. What I really enjoyed was the peace of mind they were able to provide. When they discussed with me the significant issues found, they gave me very realistic price ranges for repair that mirrored the estimates I received afterwards. In addition, they helped me get a feel for how this inspection compared to others they perform and if it was out of the norm, etc. In addition, I had some follow-up questions over the next week regarding some of the items on the report and I receive prompt responses from JT via a phone call after relaying through Joe. I also had them come back out to do a wind mitigation inspection a couple of weeks later that was also excellent. These guys are the real deal - I have absolutely no hesitation about recommending them or using them again!

The finished reports are very thorough and easy to understand, including photos and descriptions of the problems. Had it not been for JT's great work, we would have been stuck in a home with serious mold issues (1st inspection), or a home with strutural issues and dangerous venting of garage fumes (2nd house), or a home needing a new $43,000 tile roof (3rd house). While I've not liked hiring an inspector 3 separate times, the inspection costs are trivial compared to the cost of buying a house that is going to be a money pit.
