I gave the 1 star only because the 2 gentlemen who came out to haul away were exemplary, fast, couldn't ask for better service. However, When the truck arrived it was already 20-25% full from the prior load. I had a full truckload. Somehow I get charged $1200 for one truckload, then later told that I negotiated it down? No pricing discussed until they were on site. Also, no final pricing until everything was already on the truck. It was supposedly $749 for one truck load, +$300 labor. How is a $1200 bill a negotiated price? Everything went in one truckload- and that truck arrived 20-25% filled already. I actually believe now I was overcharged. Go with a cheaper competitor, and/or ALWAYS ask about pricing for this company. I could have hired movers cheaper than this. Very disappointed with the customer service of this company and less than transparent pricing.

They showed up on time and did excellent work.  They took about a trampoline and hauled it away, hauled away several fence panels, a basketball net and post, and some other old trash.  They were quick and professional - a little pricey but did a great job.

There were no troubles with scheduling and they came out when they said they would. Their costs were reasonable and they did everything I had asked of them. They did a good job!

They called ahead and arrived a few minutes early of their predicted time. Very professional and courteous. Just really nice people to deal with. Honored the coupon from the newspaper. I will definitely use again.

They were very professional, polite and on time.  They gave me a quote on the items I wanted removed, Price wasn't cheap, but I didn't have to lift a finger and they took away all that I asked and cleaned up after themselves.  I would use them again and recommend them to others.

Overall it was good. I moved and I need to haul away old furniture. When I called 1-800-got-junk they were very professional. They explained to me that they would come out and give me an estimate and I could decide if I wanted to use their service. They told me to go on line and use their on line estimator to get an idea. I did this however their on line estimator is way, way off. It ended up costing me almost twice as much as their on line tool said. I explain this to the workers when they came out and they said that happens all the time. If I had not been backed up on a deadline I would sent them away and tried a different route. These gentlemen could not have been nicer or more professional and I can't say a single thing against them. They were wonderful! However I was just shocked with the price. If their on line estimate had given me correct information I would have been better prepare for the cost and then the experience would have been much better.

"Thank you so much for your feedback. Our franchisor has continued to improve the online estimating tool so that our clients have an opportunity to more accurately understand our prices ahead of their appointment time."

I called on Friday to schedule an appointment.  They explained that they charge by volume, that is, how much room the load takes up in their truck, and that they schedule appointments in a 2-hour window.  I made an appointment for Saturday between 1 and 3 PM, and was told that the driver would call about a half-hour before arriving.    They called Saturday at 11:50  AM and let me know that the truck would probably arrive between 2:30 and 3, and he would call back again with an ETA.  I did receive another call at 1PM but was unable to pick up the phone, so I called the company back to confirm the expected arrival time.  The customer service representative tried to contact the driver, and left a voice mail asking for him to call me.  The truck arrived at 2:10 PM with 2 uniformed men as they stated.  I showed them what I had to haul away.   They said it would probably be 1/2 a truckload, and that I could look in the truck and see the size of the load once they had loaded all of the items.  They began loading the truck.  There was a very large entertainment center with a 2-piece middle unit and 2 side pieces.  They had some difficulty with the middle unit, as the top piece is solid wood and very heavy, but were able to load it in the truck.  They also took a large TV, 2 wood shelves in the garage that go with the entertainment center, and some old wood from a kitchen renovation.  I also asked if they could take an old thermostat, I wasn't sure if they would take it as it contains mercury, but they said it would be no problem.    The job took about 1/2 hour.  After loading, it appeared that the load was a little more than half a truck but they only charged me for a 1/2 load.  They were courteous and professional.     I was a little surprised that smaller loads are more expensive per unit of volume than larger loads.  A full load was $578 so I expected a half-load to be half that price but it was more than that, $345.  But they do show the price list, and the pricing is explained on the web site.   I used the $10 off Angie's List coupon so the cost was $335.

I was looking for a company that would hall tree trimmings and would pick them up on Saturday morning.  I went to their web site and reviewed their their schedule option and pricing.  I looked at the graphic that they provided and figured that I had between a sixth and an eighth of a truck ( in their graphic that equates to a sofa and a chest of drawers).  I went ahead and scheduled an appointment for a two hour block between 9 am and 11 am that Saturday.  The Friday before I was asked to call and confirm the appointment.  When I did so I was informed there was a different pricing structure for yard waste removal.  I mentioned that I didn't see that on the website and was informed by the caller that they are likke other businesses and the Website is an advertisement of their best options.  Because I needed to have the debris removed I decided to go ahead and continue and confirm the appointment.  I was told that they would call me 15 minutes before my window to reconfirm and give a more accurate pickup time.  Saturday morning I received the phone call as expected and then was informed that the dispatcher had overbooked them for the day and that they wouldn't make it to me untill noon, an hour after my scheduled window.  I let them know that I was unhappy that they weren't making the window as well as the pricing structure change.  The driver said he would do what he could about the pricing.  At 12:30 they arrived at the pickup location and contacted me so I went to the location (about 3 to 5 minutes away) and received the estimate.  They estimated that the yard debris would take up a third of the truck (this equates to 2 couches, a mattress and a dresser on their website).  The driver did offer a 10% discount making the cost equivelent to a quarter of the truck and did not charge me a different price for yard waste than what their website showed.  I do feel the estimate was high and if I didn't need to get rid of the debris that day I would have rejected the estimate.  I will say that the driver and his partners were very professional and courteous.  In the end I was disappointed in the website not being accurate and the scheduling challenges with the appointment.  I will not use this company again in the future and will not recommend it to family or friends.

"It is true that the amount of work on our schedule that day exceeded what we had planned for and caused us to be behind schedule. For this we are sorry. However, we never knowingly overbook our schedule. Concerning our pricing, the client misunderstood what we explained, which is that in our experience we find that green waste (brush, limbs, etc.) is very difficult to efficiently compact, especially if it has set outside in the weather for very long. We simply wanted to give the client a heads up to avoid disappointment. It was not a different price list compared to what the client saw on our website. As we understood at the time of service, we were the only vendor willing to travel to Clermont to complete this job."

After visiting the website, I called the 800 number, because I was unsure how to figure out the price they would charge. They set their prices by volume (1/8 of a truck, 1/4, 3/8, etc.)  I was told an estimate would be made when they arrived at my house, and I would have the option of accepting it, or not, at that point (I was offered a $10-off coupon.) Unfortunately, I discovered when they arrived, that their trucks are not very big, and what I had assumed would cost about $150-$250 to haul away, was estimated by the driver at more than $800. It took a lot of cajoling by me to get the driver and his two companions to load the furniture in a way that would minimize the volume (though they kept saying, "We have no problem doing that. We're committed to customer service.") The bottom line:  what the driver said would take 1-1/2 trucks, wound up filling only 3/4 of one, because I kept finding more efficient ways for them to load the truck. Also, they handled my possessions carelessly -- causing major scratches during loading -- and placed them precariously, making the glass, wood and wicker pieces more likely to be damaged during transport. Some of this furniture was cheap and broken, but some of it was functional and/or pricey. I was hoping those pieces would be valuable to the patrons of the various church-based charities the driver said he would deliver them to...but they were less useable and appealing, after being handled by these men. The driver did take two additional chairs for no extra cost, and gave me $20 in discounts, but the whole of the experience left me unlikely to use this company again.

"We are very disappointed to see this client's review of our service. However, both our website and call center are clear concerning the size of our trucks. In fact, our website features a tool that allows our clients to scroll over every fraction of a truck to see real pictures of what amount of junk constitutes that particular volume and associated price. We couldn't be any more upfront about our rates than that. When we came on site we provided a price estimate based on what we saw that we did not exceed. In fact, we accepted the additional items mentioned at the end of the job that normally would have raised the price another $70. The client repeatedly entered our truck while our staff was working to tell them how to better do their jobs and complained about the price he had agreed to and had to be asked politely to exit the vehicle each time because our insurance company does not allow clients to be in our trucks for safety reasons. Ultimately our staff was as accomodating and professional as they could be. We would much prefer that a prospective client decline to utilize our service after the estimate has been provided as opposed to agreeing to the estimate and then behaving in this manner and criticizing our service in what we feel is a very unfair assessment."

I had used this same company 2 years ago so decided to use them again because I was so impressed with their service. I called the 1-800 number to make the arrangements. The truck came in on time, backed into the area to the material to be picked up, two young ladies got out of the truck, picked up and loaded the materials (there were a lot of boards with nails, etc) into the truck in a surprisingly short period of time and then completely cleaned up the area of all debrie. WOW! I was very impressed. My load filled 3/4 of truck at a most reasonable price.
