Description of Work: We liked the sales person and the laminate floor he helped us pick out. The installation was a very poor job. Our flooring was installed a year and a half ago and it creaks like a 200 year old haunted house.

Description of Work: Carpet one sent out someone to do the exact measurements the next day.They came on time and begin work immediately no lagging , very professional and polite. They were diligent and focused on the job. They removed furniture and replaced it just like they found it. The installation went very well and it was timely. Very pleased with the outcome.

Description of Work: New top of the line carpet with guarantee to replace or fix any wear or stains for 15 years. The carpet still looks great a year later. They have had to come out and clean a pet stain once and I was not prepared for the expense of using their carpet cleaner. He had to clean another room to make the service call viable. This was a set cost that included more rooms than I needed. I bought the carpet because they are a solid company with a long history in this area. After the sale, it did take longer for them to return calls and the "care" did go down but still the carpet is exactly what I wanted.

 + -1 moreTypically, a crew of 4 install the carpet. Only 2 showed up. Because they were short handed when they installed the carpet, they damaged the bottom of new hallway wallpaper that had been installed only 2 weeks prior. The stair installation was pretty bad. After many phone calls and several visits they finally agreed to fix the stairs but not the wallpaper. If the full installation crew had showed up, I suspect we wouldn't have had these problems.
Description of Work: Install new carpet on 2nd floor and stair case.

 + -1 moreCarpet-N-Drapes was very attentive to my wants and needs. They were also very responsive. They show up when they say they are going to. The workers were very polite, respectful, and courteous. I had an excellent experience with them.
Description of Work: Carpet-N-Drapes installed tile in the bathroom. They also replaced the carpet in a bedroom, study, and hallway.

 + 1 moreI liked Carpet One as a whole but my only down fall was that the tile installers were contracted out. There was a communication barrier which made it hard to understand. Overall the carpet people were great.
Description of Work: Carpet One brought in the tiles and carpeting of my choice. They pre-measured and estimated my project. They removed all my flooring and hauled it away.

 + -1 moreI was happy with the sales rep but the installer did not speak English and it was hard to communicate with him. I was supposed to get a free vacuum because I ordered so much carpet and I had to call them to see why it didn't come but we did get it.
