I was very impressed that the next day after posting this experience I got a call from the company and spoke to Jim the owner of the company. Jim apologized and came out within a few hours to give me a detailed estimate. The price was very fair and he bent over backwards to help me. I am still deciding which company to go with but I am leaning heavily towards using Yeager Flooring. They truly showed they cared. I decided to go with Yeager Flooring and have NO regrets in doing so. All the workers were professional, and neat. Jim, the owner even came out to check out everything. They did a great job in laying the wood, and left the house in really good condition. They cleaned up all of the materials. Excellent company to deal with.

Everything went pretty well. They were attentive. Yeager's advertises that they can control the dust, which is one of the reasons why we chose them, but we had dust everywhere. On a positive side they sent 2 technicians, free of charge, to clean the walls. They stayed all day to do the cleaning.

I couldn't speak more highly about this company. We researched many flooring companies and ultimately chose Yeager because they didn't try to talk us into spending more, in fact Jim Yeager saved us money by repairing cracked tiles, and because we felt comfortable with their ability to do quality work. Yeager flooring exceeded our expectations! Eveyone has commented on how beautiful our floors are. Jim Yeager found and sawed down larger tile to replace cracked tile, since our type is no longer made. We had hardwoods and carpet installed while on vacation. Jim Yeager personally texted me every day to assure our house was secured, sent pictures of the progress, and kept me informed, all the while concerned about our enjoying the vacation. All of the employees I encountered day 1 of the project were extremely professional. I was assured of background checks prior to the work begining. I have worked with many companies, but have rarely seen one that is so reliable, communicates so well, and does such excellent work! Jim even arranged a cleaning service so when we got back from our vacation, there was no dust. I can't say enough about Yeager flooring. We would certainly use them again and have recommended them to all of our friends and family.

I recently bought a new house. The main areas of the house had oak hardwood floors, but all bedrooms had worn carpet. I contacted two of the most highly rated flooring installers on Angieslist in my area to give me estimates. Yeager was not only the most professional, but their quote was HALF than what the other company wanted for the same job. I checked online and the quote for materials was in line with what the materials cost. Yeager removed carpet from my master bedroom, walk in closet, two kids bedrooms, a guest room, and an office. Approx 1200 sq ft of engineered oak hardwood was then installed. The wood was matched to the existing floors by the salesman. Match was very close even though we weren't able to identify the original hardwood company. Install was done by 2 guys over a two day period. They installed the flooring, molding, and fixed "hollow" spots in the original hardwood from where the glue had come loose under the boards. They cleaned out any mess they made and the floors look amazing.

Was very pleased with the company, the owner Jim Yeager and his staff were very professional and helpful. I had a hard time deciding which engineered wood to choose from and Jim Yeager was very patient in my indecision. The job turned out excellent! They went beyond our expectations. This company also did work for family members and they are very happy. Don't look any further if you want the job done right!

We dealt with Bud Yeager and he was great to work with. We first learned of Yeager Flooring from Angie's list. We visited their showroom in Odessa and, with the help of Bud's recommendation, decided to go with Brazilian Cherry hardwood. Bud and his brother visited our home shortly after meeting with us at their facility. They measured the rooms that were to be floored with new wood and evaluated the job requirements. They submitted us a detailed proposal via email. Their quote was similar in price with two other quotes we had obtained, however, we were much more impressed with the professionalism of the Yeagers and felt they would provide the high quality job we wanted. The job was started and completed on schedule and on budget. The sub-contractors the Yeagers used did an outstanding job installing the new flooring. Bud personally followed up with a visit to our home to make certain we were completely satisfied with the job. I'm absolutely certain we made the right choice in using Yeager for this job. My wife and I highly recommend Yeager Flooring to anyone wishing to install hardwood.

The owner of the company, Jim Yeager, arrived on time for our first consultation. He had good ideas for matching flooring to the existing cabinetry and tile in adjoining rooms and helped me make some great choices. Once I agreed to the pricing/conditions, his crew started working the next business day. They also were very punctual and professional. Eric installed the hardwood flooring and did a beautiful job. After the work was completed, Jim did a final inspection and made sure that everything was cleaned up and in pristine condition. I had a very minor issue with some loose hardwood pieces, and Eric was quick to respond and correct it. Having peace of mind that any concerns will be addressed - that's priceless! Although they are slightly more expensive than other installers, I am glad that I chose this company. They stand behind their work, are very responsive, and they make sure to let their customers know exactly who will be coming to their door. A great company to work with!

I had been shopping for carpeting for 2 bedrooms. Went to their store and they showed me some carpeting from previous big jobs they had some leftover, so it was cheaper. The service was excellent and the price was good.

I told him over the telephone what I was interested in. He brought the samples for me and put that one. I think the following week it was installed. The people that came out for installation were very good and very professional. They came and got the job done. It looks good and I had no problems with them. I think their price was competitive.

From Jim coming out and quoting the projects to completion, the experience was handled very professionally. Jim and his wife worked on the floors and a different team worked on the ceramic tile. Jim kept me updated on progress and delivered on everything that was committed. Our floors look AWESOME !!! We have several additional flooring projects (different rooms) that we will bring Jim and his team back in for over the coming months. Great professionalism, very polite and respectful of our home. You can't put a price on quality of workmanship, professionalism, and commitment to timelines. I would recommend Yeager to my friends in a heartbeat.

I was in a rush to get the work completed so I could get back to work in my office. Yeager's technicians arrived on schedule to conduct the work. There were a few issues with the products that were shipped to Yeager e.g., minor blemish line in the carpet and the painting on the crown molding, but in all cases the installers pointed out the issues prior to doing any installation work and gave me the option to replace the product. I did opt to have the crown molding repainted and worked with Yeager to set up a new date to install, which only caused me a days delay overall. I was impressed with the professionalism of all of the installers and with the company overall. I have worked with Jim and Bud Yeager in the past and will continue to do so going forward. They run a first class company and we are delighted with the end product, I highly recommend them to anyone looking for carpet, hardwood or ceramic flooring and associated services.

I called the company mid-day and the salesman, Corey, was at our apartment within a few hours with carpet samples for the master bedroom of our newly purchased home. He was prompt and professional and brought samples in the colors and styles that we had discussed on the phone. He was very informative and low-key which I found extremely helpful. We discussed that the concrete floor in the bedroom had a shallow crack and that it needed to be patched. From there, the carpet installation proceeded without incident and all work was completed to perfection. Corey checked back with us to ensure we were pleased... We were thrilled with the carpet, the installation, and his great customer service! Our new rug looks great!!

I had some serious water/pet stains in my wood floors and needed to get them fixed before I could sell my house. After calling a number of other wood flooring companies, I called Yeager Flooring and found Jim Yeager to be extremely responsive and resourceful in finding wood to match the wood of my floors (which is no longer made). Jim Yeager went to a lot of trouble to find wood that match my floors very well. His crew did an exceptional job cutting out the damaged/stained wood and replacing it. The repairs were seamless, the Yeager crew were punctual, professional, and responsive. When I came home after the repairs were made, I couldn't believe how great the floors looked! And the Yeager crew cleaned up and left the area spotless. They even dusted all the furniture and glass tops in the rooms where they did the work. They exceeded my expectations and I would not hesitate to recommend them.

Yeager had installed wood floors in 2 rooms of my home in 2009 (master bedroom, walk in closet and office). I was extremely pleased with the quality of their work. They found an excellent match to the existing wood flooring that was installed in the kitchen, family room and dining room, when the house was constructed 5 years ago. When I was ready to replace carpet in 4 rooms (3 bedrooms and conservatory), I called Yeager again for an estimate and they responded the next day with a home visit and a quote that was fair and commitment to install the flooring within 2 weeks... a great turnaround time. Yeager has now installed wood floors in 6 rooms and a large walk in closet. The floors look fabulous! I would definitely recommend Yeager if you want quality work by professionals at a competitive cost.

This job took much longer than we had expected it to because of the difficulty of the tile removal. During the entire process, Jim Yeager stayed on top of each phase and pushed his crews to get the job finished. Both he and his installers had suggestions for improving the look we were trying to achieve, at no extra cost to us, and we adopted many of their suggestions. While I admit I hope never to have to go through such a job again, I would not hesitate to call on Yeager to do the work.

It is hard to imagine how our experience with Yeager Flooring could have gone any better or how we could be any more pleased with their service and the finished job. Regarding the company?s professionalism, Jim Yeager was very responsive to our first call, he promptly set up an appointment convenient for our schedule, and he arrived exactly on time. He assessed the job carefully and asked plenty of questions to make sure he understood what we wanted. There were never any attempts to sell us products or services we were not interested in, but Jim asked enough questions to verify that our expectations were reasonable and could be accomplished. He subsequently followed up with an estimate, the work was scheduled on a timely basis as soon as we were ready, and the job proceeded without a glitch. Regarding the company?s service, we were initially very concerned about finding someone who understood our sensibilities and who would be able to provide services at the level we wanted and expected. Our house is approximately 100 years old with lots of character that we have worked hard to preserve and to restore. After working on the house for literally years, we were finally at a point where nothing further could be completed until the floors were refinished. Having the floors refinished properly was therefore a critical component that would enhance and contribute to all of our work over the years. By contrast, a bad job would have detracted significantly from our past work and would have been a tremendous disappointment. Prior to starting the work, Jim arranged to send out the craftsman who would be doing the sanding and refinishing. Jordan stopped by on a Saturday morning and went through our entire house asking questions and taking as much time as necessary to listen to all of my concerns and descriptions of the quirky areas that are so common in older homes. In addition to the house?s inherent quirks, the job also presented the following unique challenge. Our living room, dining room, and halls were old and discolored looking, but they had all been refinished about 30 years ago. On the other hand, the kitchen had never been refinished, but it had linoleum over it for many years which created a dark and inconsistent discoloration. Last, we have an old addition on the back of the house with a pine floor milled from lumber reclaimed from an old antique building. While the reclaimed pine matched the character of the house, it was raw, unfinished wood covered with paper to protect it. The entire job was complicated further by the fact that all three of these different surfaces are part of the same continuous floor. In other words, there are no step downs, raised areas, thresholds, or other breaks that separate one area from the other or that would otherwise make each area easier to refinish. Jordan and Jay began the work approximately one week later, which was exactly when the job was scheduled to begin. We felt confident from having met Jordan ahead of time, but from the first day of the job, we knew that everything was going to turn out well. There also was never any mess, and it was obvious that Jordan and Jay were very skilled and knew their trade. They also scraped and refinished our stairway and a number of other areas where the floor stopped with no quarter round or other molding to cover the transition. For example, we have a brick hearth with the floor stopping right at the brick. The floor is finished beautifully right up to the brick with no damage to the brick. We have already recommended Yeager Flooring to family members, and I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for top of the line service and professionalism.

They were very professional and they were on time. We were definitely happy with everything that they did. We would use them again in the future.

It was a wonderful experience with Yeager Flooring from beginning to end. The initial visit/estimate was very reassuring. Jim answered all of our questions - those we knew and many we didn't even know to ask. Tear out and installation was professional and very CLEAN! That was our biggest concern: the mess of tearing out tile and installing the new wood floors. They took great pride in keeping our home clean throughout the entire process. The final installed product looks fantastic! The floor installers were true artists and craftsmen...no detail was overlooked and they were very responsive to any questions or comments I had during the installation process as well. We are EXTREMELY pleased with our new flooring and I've already referred Yeager Flooring to two other friends. Feels like we have a brand new home!

Spoke to a sales person regarding an estimate to refinish or replace hardwood floor in dining area. The company never called to arrange a day and time for a meeting to view and measure.

The sales person came out the same day to give us an estimate. We mentioned that we were members of Angie's List and he immediately subtracted the discount from our total. We arranged for the installation and the installers were prompt and professional. They did a fantastic job and the quality of work was some of the best I've seen. The installers spoke Portuguese so we brought over our 91 year old mother (who speaks 5 languages) to brush up on her skills. It was a great experience with Yeager and we'd definitely use them again.

Jim was extremely helpful in all aspects and phases of our remodeling effort before moving into our home. He provided samples of various flooring options, arranged for us to visit another home with the same kind of flooring we were wanting, and went out of his way to help us overcome the problems we encountered along the way. It was clear to me he had our best interests in mind and was not looking to just make a sale. He was very patient and wanted to make sure we were very satisfied in the end. We are! Jim was great to communicate with and always prompt. His team of people who removed and installed the floors were top notch. The workmanship is excellent.

Jim Yeager - Took care of any concerns I had in a timely manor and I think before you ask for there help educate yourself on the process because that is were a lot of my frustration came from. As a home owners we expect a certain thing but unless we get involved from top to bottom and ask questions do not be surprised when they do what you asked them to do and that is provide a services. Jim and Bud are defiantly top notch people!

We requested estimate on line and Mike responded.and made appointment for an estimate. Jim came the same day and made the estimate which we accepted. We were sent the contract and installation was set up for 5.26.2010. The installer arrived promptly as scheduled and completed the master bedroom on that day and two installers returned the following day and were finished with the installation of the other two bedrooms in the morning. The installer confirmed with us how we wished the floors laid out and each room was done beautifully. They worked quickly and efficiently and cleaned up as each room was completed.

Exhausting and frustrating :( UPDATE: Mr Yeagers response is simply insulting and untrue( he was very much misinformed by his salesperson). Both me and my wife tried ti reassure Ms jennies that we understood that there could be slight variations in the trim tile she choose for us. In fact I agreed to sign a contact stating same. Ms Jenny said she would email it to me to sign prior to the laying of the tile. I reassured her several times over the that I trusted her judgment and that it was Ok with me. Her response was that it was too much responsibility for her ( sorry I did not pick up that this was her subtle way of saying she had cold feet and or they could not complete the job. My question is why did Ms Jenny just be upfront with me in the first place and just tell me it wasn't the kind thing Their company specialized in at the very beginning or shortly thereafter having spoke with Mr. Yeager. I believe Mr Yeager owes me an apology. If he would have returned my call and simply said his salesperson overstepped her bounds in offering me a service that he was not comfortable providing and offered an apology I would not be writing this now. I have stated the facts, he has made negative assumptions about my character , personally resorted to name calling as well as implying that I am a dishonest person trying to get something for nothing. Shame on him. We all make mistakes, no one is 100 % perfect and when we do we should just admit it and say I am sorry ( is that so hard). I am sure Mr Yeagers installers do a great job but that is not the here.
