A wonderful experience from tile selection (they were very patient with us, and even came to our house to pick up and/or drop off sample tiles). Jim shared valuable experience regarding color and style, and we ended up with the perfect tile for a busy family with dogs. Friends and neighbors all commented on how beautiful it is!

The costs for all the work was very competitive, and all stages of the work were done on or ahead of schedule. The installation of the flooring, the ceiling work, painting, drywall work, and rework of the AC closet were all done to a perfectionist's level. The appearance of this work was far beyond our initial expectations. Each and every employee of Yeager & Co were polite, professional, and always willing to answer our questions as the work progressed. The subcontractors (plumber & electrician) were equally professional, competitively priced, and completed the agreed upon work in a timely fashion. Everything was coordinated by Mr. Yeager himself, and every stage progressed to the next smoothly and efficiently. Without a doubt the most impressive element of our experience was our frequent interactions with Mr Jim Yeager personally. His honesty and integrity were evident from the earliest steps of getting estimates and were reinforced at each subsequent step. At one point Jim even encouraged us to reconsider an additional element of our remodel that would have added an additional $6000 to our costs. We were ready to have him do this additional project, but he provided us with options we were not aware of, and ultimately we spent $500 on the options rather than $6000 on the new project. Working with Jim Yeager was like a "breath of fresh air" after living in Florida for 22 years and having a number of more typical "Florida Contractor" experiences! Based on Mr. Yeager's honesty and integrity alone, I would not hesitate to use his company again, and I recommend them without reservation.

Bud Yeager did the estimate and provided a very good selection of carpet quality and color options. The two-man installation crew installed the new carpeting and removed the old carpet and padding. Both men had 30-35 years of installation experience and were efficient in using the carpet and ensuring that the seams were in the right places. I was very pleased with the service and installation and would recommend Yeager anytime.

Corey was very nice & seemed knowledgeable. The only issue was that my address in Angie's List was not the service address (we own 2 homes) and he drove out to the wrong house. He called & apologized. I waited for 30 min. but understood. I was quoted for 2 bedrooms. The price seemed a little high but the carpet was good quality & I liked the Angie's List reviews. Prior to installation they emailed my 2 installers names & license numbers. I thought that was great and felt safe. The other glitch was that the installers were also given my other address, arrived there at the later end of the time window, so I was waiting here for too long. I couldn't believe that happened again. But, Corey was very helpful again and was able to give a discount for my time & troubles. He even called a week or so after installation to make sure I was happy.

This was my first time working with flooring. I called 3 contractors for estimates, one already appeared on Angie's List and that was Yeager Flooring. It was also my first time using Angie's List. It was the customer comments and the fact that Yeager was an Angie's List approved vendor that porivided me with the knowledge to call them for an estimate. It was the owner, Jim Yeager who sealed the deal with the best products, the quickest turn-around time and the best price. He went above and beyond to ensure we had the right products. His work crew was first rate and professional, they too went above and beyond on the carpet removal and install and even showed my husband an few tricks in case there were any minor problems. Jim came out to the work site even though it was only a 2 day project and he ensured we were happy after the install with the job done and the product. Best decision we ever made to use Angie's List for recomendations. Would recommend Yeager Floors to anyone - especial Military veteran's. Jim is a patriot and a great American and gave us a military discount which also allowed us to stay within budget.

First contact with Yeager was in June when Jim's brother Bud came to my place. He wrote up a a quote that was eventually agreed to. The top notch crew came out on July 25 for the first day of installation. All three on the crew were polite, honest and hard working. Last touches were finished on Thursday that same week. All looked great!

Jim Yeager's company is very professional, all stemming from Jim himself. Jim listened to my requirement to stick to the mid century modern look of the bathroom floor tiles that were being replaced, and found me a great match. He went to great lengths to find the tile, and stuck to the deadline set for him. Mike and Max, the installation team were punctual, professional, clean and tidy, and did a fantastic job. All in all, we're very pleased with the new floors.

I am so pleased with our experience at Yeager Flooring. Jim Yeager stopped by our home (we live in Waterchase in Tampa) and we discussed exactly what we wanted to do in this project. We picked out flooring that blended perfectly with the hardwoods already installed in a couple of rooms in our home and set a date for the install. We knew that removing tile is a difficult, messy job and we were very hesitant to do this project because we feared it would be a terrible mess and hassle, however Jim assured us that everything would be taken care of and that we would not have to worry about cleanup or moving large furniture, etc. (This was especially important to us as we have small children and not a lot of spare time!) Our schedule for demolition and installation was tight and they accommodated us brilliantly. We vacated the house for three days (treated it like a three-day getaway at a lovely hotel) and let them do their work! When we returned home, it was like a whole new house. Amazing! In the time stated, they: - moved out our large furniture -taped plastic tarps over everything which would collect the tile dust, including large paintings, our pantry, kitchen cabinets, etc., -tore out the tile -disposed of all junk materials -installed the flooring and quarter-round trim (they also expertly maneuvered around a couple of tricky spots where the new floors met the existing hardwoods) -cleaned the floors and house of any remaining dust -moved the furniture back into place They had a large crew at the house and everyone was very friendly and professional. All of our work was done as promised, in a timely manner, and within the quote given (which was absolutely reasonable for the work done). It was painless for us and our home looks beautiful. I cannot say enough about this company- the way they handled our project from start to finish was first-rate and I would recommend them to anyone looking to do new flooring in their home.

They were extremely clean - especially in removing the old tile flooring. Plus, everything went according to schedule, Corey, the sales rep, not only came to our house and helped us select the new flooring, but also supervised the installation on a day to day basis. All went perfectly in a difficult reconstruction effort.

Yeager flooring installed over 277 yards of carpet in our home. The installation was done by a father / son team that was very professional but most important - did a fabulous job. Their work was beautiful despite being challenged by the room layouts but kept things very clean through the entire process. The job took longer than estimated but we could not be more pleased with the entire experience with Yeager Flooring. We would use them again and recommend them to all.

We actually traveled to Yeager's showroom. Corey Colaciello was our salesperson. He was professional, polite and helpful. We picked the laminate flooring that we wanted to use in our townhome, as well as a carpeting for the stairs. Thereafter, Corey made a trip to our home to take measurements and we scheduled an installation date. Chris and Paul, the installers, showed up on time and were very professional. They completed the job within the scheduled time and left absolutely no clean up for us. As in any such large job, we had a few minor details that needed to be addressed after the fact. Corey addressed each and every issue in a timely manner and the issues were taken care of to our complete satisfaction. After the flooring was installed, we had arranged for Susan Yeager to come in to our home and clean some very dirty grout in our master bathroom and kitchen. She arrived on time and did an amazing job. I did not think it would be possible to get the grout clean, but she did so. We love our new flooring. It has made a complete difference in our home and visitors comment that it looks as if we have moved into a new place! I could not recommend this Company more highly. They are thoroughly professional and simply good folks with whom to do business. You will not regret using them for any of your flooring needs. I would highly recommend that you travel to their showroom and check it out. They have an amazing selection of flooring options.

The Yeager Company even had to add 1/4 round molding for which they did not charge.

From the start, I was hesitant to refinish the floors because I'd been told by another leading Tampa hardwood refinishing company that the engineered floors in my house were to thin to sand. Upon inspection, Jim Yeager assured me that this was not the case. These floors had at least one or two sanding in them, maybe even a third. Moreover, he assured me that when sanded, the colors of the boards (installed at different times) would match. Still skeptical, I was happy when Jim suggested a "test sand" to see whether this was the case. His top-notch re-finisher, Jordan, showed up as scheduled to sand a small area, and it became evident that the boards would not only hold up to the sanding, they would match . The sanding process was then scheduled in two phases to accommodate the sizable area and allow us to live through the process in the comfort of our home. First, new boards were pieced in to replace the ones that could not be salvaged due to water warping. Each sanding phase lasted about a week, during which the floors were sanded and four coats of water-based sealer were applied. The water-based sealer dried fairly quickly (4 hours), was non-toxic and the fumes were not bothersome. Jordan always informed me of the time he would arrive each day, and if there was a deviation, I always received a phone call. The house was always left tidy at the end of each day. The furniture was moved and put back in place as part of the contract. Pads were put at the bottom of each piece of furniture to prevent any scratches from damaging the new floor. These touches heightened our satisfaction with Yeager Flooring. The floors are magnificent for the first time in a long time. Job well done!

Yeager Flooring did a very good job, and completed all of the work within a couple of hours. The only problem we encountered was with our toilets. They have to remove them for the installation, but have a plumber reinstall them. Unfortunately, the plumber came much later in the day, so we were without toilets for about eights hours. However, we did like working with Yeager, and we plan on having them to install new flooring in the rest of our home.

Overall my experience with Jim Yeager was excellent. He is extremely professional and his attention to detail is something you don't see much these days. He came out and measured and was able to give me an accurate estimate on the spot. His only concern is the customer and what will make the job perfect for them. He made recommendations of product and was not the least bit aggressive. We went out to his showroom....which was very impressive. He made recommendations based on our life style ( 2 kids and a big dog) and the architectural design of our home. He provided a reference who had similar floors and we were able to visit their home to see his work. He gave me one price and that never changed...even when certain products were added or changed. His crew was punctual, polite and as meticulous as they could be on a big job like this. It was a 7 day job and they kept the dust to a minimum the best they could. Jim was present throughout and followed up after and is still following up to make sure all is PERFECT. We love our new hardwood floors and tile! I would recommend Yeager flooring without reservation for your flooring job.

It went very well. Jim Yeager came over and provided an estimate and left several tiles. I had emailed him to let him know I wanted to look at more tile and the next day when I got home from work there was more tile by the front door. He went above and beyond with his customer service. To accommodate my schedule they started the project on a Friday and worked through the weekend and finished the job early the following week. The crew was very professional and they installed the tile with 2 adults, 2 cats and 2 dogs living in the house. I have received many compliments on my floors and would recommend Yeager flooring

I contacted Yeager Flooring for an estimate on replacing the floors in my home. Jim Yeager was at my home that same afternoon ready to measure, make suggestions and provide an estimate. After getting estimates from a couple of other flooring companies, as well as considering doing the work ourselves, we chose Yeager based on Jim's knowledge of flooring and pricing. We signed the contract and the work was scheduled for a week later. Prior to the installers showing up I received an email containing pictures of the people that would be working in my home as well as information on their background checks. This certainly served to ease my mind about who would be coming in and out of my home! The installers showed up on time and immediately began to prep my home for the tile removal...messy business! The installers took great care in sealing up my other rooms with plastic and tape to ensure dust would not get into these spaces. They also moved and covered those large items that could not be placed in other areas (there was the threat of rain and they were not comfortable in placing my furniture outside). As they were removing the tile they discovered a great deal of moisture coming up from the slab. The lead installer, Lee, immediately called Jim (the owner) to alert him of this problem. Jim came out and took a look, then did some research to discover the reason for the moisture,as well as come up with a solution. I need to mention that during this time, Jim was making arrangements to place his mother in a hospice (she did, in fact, pass away during my project). I was amazed and humbled that he would take this time away from his family to tend to my issue. The moisture problem was resolved and the new floors went in beautifully! I was also having my kitchen remodeled at the same time, and Jim coordinated everything with the kitchen installers, so there was no stress or worry on my part! About a week after everything was completed, I contacted Jim again to install a tile backsplash. I was thrilled to see Lee and his team come back to do the backsplash. They finished the job quickly and cleanly!! Everybody I dealt with at Yeager were friendly, professional and very detail-oriented. The installers were the best, and I kind of missed seeing them every day after the job was done!

Jim Yeager did an absolutely fabulous job of understanding what we wanted and was particularly good at visualizing a "look" that we couldn't quite describe. He was very patient in discussing several different options of carpet vs hardwood, and willing to walk us through various pricing and quality choices. Jim went over and above to find the right products for us. We had originally selected some marble for the fireplace, but Jim found some gorgeous Turkish travertine that really blew the other stone away. It just makes the fireplace and the family room really "POP"!! Despite some problems with an uneven wall and less than stellar backing on the ceramic tile, Jim found solutions. We can't say enough good things about the workers that Yeager employs. These men are true craftsman. They take pride in their work and it shows in the way they do their jobs and most importantly, in the final product. In addition, they were always willing to answer questions and explain what and why they were doing something. The communication was exceptional. Unlike others, Jim is a 'hands-on' owner who was here checking and following-up at every step. Jim's wife, Susan, was responsible for the tile and grout cleaning and did a great job! She also found a very large, unique mirror she thought would go over the fireplace. It's just another example of value-added service that Yeager delivers. We highly recommend Yeager and will be calling them when we're ready to remodel the master bath and kitchen!!

Jim Yeager and his company did what I don't think any other company in the area could have done. I had some major water damage in various areas of my wood floors. Jim went out of the way to find wood that would match my existing floors and find the right workers on his team to do the job. Jim was there every step of the way to make sure things were done correctly. I really appreciate Yeager's professionalism and sense of pride in workmanship. I feel lucky to have found this company and I would highly recommend Yeager Flooring.
