We looked around a lot and I think their prices were pretty average and competitive. He was very professional. All the guys that came out were great and friendly. It was an all-around good experience.

Since posting my last review I was immediately contacted by Jim Yeager and I want the whole of Angie's list to know that he is an honorable man. Jim came over to house and inspected the work and asked how he could remedy the situation to make us happy. We discussed options and are in the process of going forward with repairing the damage. I think we must have gotten bad batch of laminate. I can no longer fault Yeager flooring because Jim Yeager is a man of his word. His reputation is very important to him as well as the quality of work they produce. We are pleased with Jim's response to our concerns and his promise to resolve the matter quickly. Please disregard my previous review, as it was a true accounting of facts, it was not a true accounting of who Jim Yeager is and how he runs his company. The flooring is in place and it looks amazing. I invite everyone in the Land O Lakes area to come over to my home and view the flooring so you can see what it looks like in a home with furniture and painted walls. The house looks brighter and homier. The floors make me feel like I am in a cabin in the woods. The baseboards are seamless and they bring the house alive. finally the quarter round is perfect.

From the beginning our experience with Yeager Co was great. Bud (owner) came to our new home personally, took measurements and provided us a fair quote for the carpet we picked. We had a tight schedule and had only 2 days available to install the carpet which was no issue for Bud. He promised his team will be there at 6/19 and they were there. They came in and did a great job in 1.5 days and we love our new carpets now. One side note, Bud upgraded our padding because the padding we agreed on was not available, free of charge. This on top of the great service we got show his commitment to his clients.

Yeager told my girlfriend they wanted $150 for an in-home estimate. The website states, "Free In-Home Estimates". The owner (Jim) arrived and I discussed the $150 and he said this was NOT apart of Yeager. He left in his red van and proceeded to the next job. I suspect they were trying to take advantage of a female and their lack of knowledge of contractors. If you are considering Yeager you may just be another number, another job. Are you willing to pay $150 for an in-home estimate?!

Very professional, punctual and quality workmanship. I would use this company again in a heartbeat.

I was provided a quote after giving them a call. I was looking to have the job done in two days. They were able to show up very quickly the following day after my phone call.

We did not use this company as we purchased better flooring at a better price at Home Depot.

Responded with a quick appointment at our home for estimates. Appointment was set and materials were ready for install within a week. Installers were professional. Received a call directly from Mr Yeager making sure everything was going as planned. The wrong tiles were sent in for the fireplace and a solution was found immediately without delaying install. After the floor was replaced in the kitchen, the elevation was different so the appliances didn't fit in as they should. Again, the problem was remedied within a day without a hassle! Would definitely recommend Yeager. It's invaluable knowing that the company will stand behind their work and make any corrections as needed!

Crew was very pleasant and did a great job. Installed hardwood floors in living room, master bedroom suite and walk in closet. Did a great job with floors and trim.

It went fantastic, from moment I entered the show room to the moment the wood was perfectly installed I was served professionally and with a lot of patient. The wood was installed three days after I made the decision. The installer were extremly nice and knew exactly what their doing, and they finished the work in two days, Wow.The floors turned out beautiful and I am extremely happyii choose Yeager to perform the job.

That's A across the board, they did a great job. That were happy about, they done professional stuff, the dry wall came up really good and I was happy with that, The part we were really happy with like the closet, being professional is a bit unprofessional but the dry wall product i would say is A across the board. Price is excellent, quality is excellent.

We were leaving town for up north and were to be gone for at least two months. Jim and his crew came in while we were gone and did all the work and had the condo cleaned for our return. There were a few minor issues that they are coming back to complete, but all in all a good experience. They were trustworthy and took good care of my furniture and new kitchen cabinets by covering in plastic and taping up while the work was completed. I would work with them again. Everything looks wonderful. Jim Yeager, the owner, was always available to talk to my husband and myself during the two month process.

Work was outstanding actually finished ahead of scheduled. I was in another state was kept well informed . Tremendous team!!

No work was ever done. When I first called, they were very prompt about coming out to give an estimate. My first thought was that the price was too good to be true. There was however, part of the estimate that I did not understand. I requested additional clarification. After several months, I called and another rep came out and measured everything out again. After not hearing from them for several months more, I called them and told them how disappointed I was about not ever receiving a revised estimate as well as no follow-up on their part at all. I did not use their services. I wish I would have kept all the copies of my emails but I did not. At this point, I don't remember the dates all of this happened

From the salesman, to the office folks, to the installers, Yeager did a great job in every way. They made sure we were entirely satisfied with the end result. We had a couple of minor delays, due to other construction, but everything worked out just great and we are totally happy.

Demolition was really messy but I was surprised how clean the floor was after the tile was removed. They covered everything but we had removed all furniture and wall hangings so the dust was not too bad. Everything was cleaned by the end of the day. There was a little damage to a wall and a small scratch in the lower kitchen cabinets. Those were repaired and we couldn't tell there had been any damage at all. Installation of the tile and wood floors went smoothly. The crews are very skilled at what they do. Mike Shorba, the salesman, was here at the beginning and the end. On the last day we noticed a small light spot on the living room wood floor. Two days later they returned, replaced the piece of wood and the floor looks great.

We purchased a kitchen design/consult package with Yeager & Company because they did our carpet and we are very happy with their service. We were disappointed when we scheduled our kitchen consult and the company was not actually Yeager. It was a "sister" company that I never heard of out of Tampa. I felt that was false advertising, because had we known it was not actually a consult with Yeager... we would not have purchased the design package. The initial design that they came up with for our kitchen was very low quality, but worse than that, it was an awkward and non-functional design (doors opening in ways that would bang into drawers, etc). I could have had them change it to my liking, but I did not want to proceed with them when they could not have come up a functional design on their own. If the consult had actually been with Yeager, I am sure it would have been great. I highly recommend Yeager for any type of flooring and would use them again for that.

Everything went well. No issues with install. The crew was professional and worked diligently Only real issue is they left junk that I paid to have hauled away. They actually left more from the work that was performed in a box that was to be hauled away. They took the majority of it but still have some left. Was told that they would be out because the van was full to take the rest away and never came back out. Have to find and pay someone else to get rid of the junk that's left. Never got a call back or get the rest of the junk I paid to have hauled away. Did not follow through on the contract that was signed.

I originally contacted Yeager because I wanted to get tile flooring installed. Bob Ward came out and took measurements and sent me a detailed estimate. I had also contacted another company for an estimate and decided based on both estimates that I would not be able to afford tile due to the installation being much more involved and therefore, much more expensive. The other company sent me to Prosource (like Sam's Club for contractors), to look at flooring and I found a laminate that I liked. I got an estimate from the other company for this flooring and also contacted Bob and asked if he could update the estimate for laminate and told him I had fallen in love with one I saw at Prosource. He said if I gave him the company name and the style name and color he would try to find it for me, and he did and for less money I might add. I also selected a carpet with Bob's help and the scheduling began. It took 1 day for demo, 2 and a half days for laminate and 1 day for the carpet. There were a few hiccups along the way which is to be expected with any large job but they were immediately addressed and sorted out. The results are beautiful and I am extremely happy with my new floors. Everyone I dealt with was friendly and professional and did a great job. I would definitely recommend Yeager and would use them again in the future.

I relocated from out of state so therefore I had no experience to base a buying decision. Found them on Angie?s list. I saw good reviews. The rep was on time for our appointment. This was the first time I had this type of work done and it was much more than I thought. Once I got other prices, I realized the job was going to be more than expected but I still wanted it done. It was like pulling teeth to get my quote and information back. I think he blew me off because I wouldn?t do the work. I did with another contractor.

first of all we bought this home in March 2013,we live in Canada so we did everything through phone & email.Our brother in law, who lives in the area, was there each day to oversee the job.The 2 installers did a great job,completing the job in 8 days.He said the installers knew their stuff and would definately hire them too do flooring for himself.We saw the flooring only in July,and we totally love it. It makes the home now and doesn't smell musty anymore.Beautiful job! Yes I would recommend this company,very professional and they know how to please. THANK YOU! B & D Soucy

I contacted Bob to schedule the installation. He was very helpful and called to confirm the date and the time. On the day Bob called to let me know he was on his way and when he would arrive. He got right to work and helped me move some of the larger furniture out of the bedroom. He was quick and efficient. He cleaned up at the end of the first day and made sure I had one bedroom completed. The second day he completed the second room and cleaned up all his work area. I had miscalculated the number of square feet needed so the extra material was just barely enough but Bob was able to use all the material and the floors are just beautiful. I am very happy with the results. Bob installed a 1/4 round trim and it looked great with the floor. I would definitely use the service again when I replace other carpet. Thank you for a great job.

The gentleman that provided the estimate was on time and was friendly enough. The gentlemen that provide the estimate indicated that if we provided our own stone which we had already picked out from a stone importer in Tampa, then he would have to write up the services under a different company header/name. This was a red flag for us but we continued to get the estimate. The estimate was about 10% higher than the others we received. We went with another estimate from another service provider on Angies List. The work was completed by this other provider and we are very pleased. We did NOT choose Yeager because of the willingness to deceive Angies List customers by weeding out and changing names on company letterhead/invoices. This is a tactic used by providers to challenge negative reviews by claiming the service was never provided (since the letterhead was a different named company). I own a small business and appreciate how important reviews can be but I also believe your work should stand for itself.
