Our floors are beautiful now! Jim Yeager and his crew were very good about communicating frequently and honestly, and their time estimate was accurate. We will definitely use them again for future contracting work!

They came out the day after I called with the issue. They did the work at no additional fee and everything looks perfect.

We chose Yeager after reviewing Angie's list and seeing all the positive ratings. After giving them a call, they sent someone out to the house to take measurements within a couple days. She brought out a few selections of carpet for us to look at but we ultimately chose to go to the showroom to see what they had to offer. We met Bud there and he was extremely knowledgable about the products they sell and which ones would be good for us. It did take about the estimated 10-14 days for the carpet to be shipped from the manufacturer and installed. However, both of the installers were very pleasant and fast. They helped to move the heavier furniture that I couldn't move myself. They left everything clean and tidy when they were done. I would highly recommend Yeager to anyone looking for flooring in the Tampa area.

Jim Yeager was professional, pleasant and quite honest about providing a service for me. He quite frankly told me that I would be over-investing in my home by doing the project I wanted and I appreciate this fact. Most contractors would not be so up front and probably take the job just to get the work. I most definitely impressed by his punctuality and honesty.

Yeager and I are meeting to look at what I have done and see if it fits into the parameters of the special deal. (I don't think it does) We are meeting on the 27th and if it's a go I will let you know. Thanking you in advance.

Tom Levatino, one of Yeager's carpet installers and his assistant came yesterday at about 10 a.m. to install a very difficult patterned carpet on the stairs and 2 landings. Tom has 39 years of experience and told us what to expect - the carpet base was very stiff and only pliable in one direction - so not easy to install for stairs. Then they ripped out the old carpet, pad and tack strips. They then cut the carpet and installed it. The sidewalls of the stairs are not straight but Tom managed to cut the carpet to fit. Perfect job. They finished at about 4:00 p.m. They did not rush. They took great care to protect our home during the process. Perfect job. 100% satisfied. Great guys too. I highly recommend Yeager and Tom.

Everything went well during the installation. We had a small issue after the fact with the install but they came right back and made it right. Very happy with them.

We found Yeager and Company on Angie?s list, the first place we look when we are in need of a contractor or service. Yeager had a very high rating with many strong reviews. We emailed in for contact and received a response from Mike Shorba, the sales manager, that day and arranged a time for Mike to come out. Mike clearly knew his business and spent the time with us to ensure that we picked the right carpet for our needs; interestingly, this was not the most expensive. We were contacted when the carpet was in and set a date for the install. The installer, Tom Levatino, and his helper, Jordon, arrived as promised and got right to work. We asked Tom to cut out a section of the old carpet to be used for patches in the rest of the house if needed. He did this willingly, quickly rolling it up and moved on. The old carpet was quickly taken up and moved outside and the install began. As Tom and Jordan began to install the new carpet; and, after anchoring one edge of the new carpet, Tom was not happy with the previously installed old Z-Bar tack strip. Tom made the decision to take the new carpet back up and replace all the Z-Bar so that where the carpet butted up to tile it looked professional. When it came time to do the seams Tom spent considerable time determining how the three major pieces should lie so the knap was correct and therefore we would never see a seam. With the job complete, Tom and Jordan offered to move the furniture back in place - we declined because we thought we might want to change some things around - but they asked several times to help. On the front end Mike told us the install would take about four hours and that is exactly what it took. Job completed, Tom gave us his contact number and requested we call him at any point we weren't completely satisfied to please call and he would be out to correct the issue. Tom has been installing carpeting for 39 years and is a perfectionist in his work. It clearly shows in the final product and Yeager and Company should be pleased to have a professional of Tom?s magnitude representing their organization.

Everyone came on time for estimates, appointments and work. It took about a week from purchase to completion. We are very pleased with the work and it really looks wonderful. It took about 4 1/2 hrs to finish and clean up. After cutting the molding and putting it up (pre-painted) they filled all nail holes, chalked and touched up with paint. Rich and co-worker were very polite and friendly, good people.

The job went great overall. The flooring suggestions they made were a perfect fit. They provided a designer to help with our kitchen, bath, paint and flooring selections. She was amazing. She was my liaison with the company and was incredibly responsive and helpful in the whole process. She helped us design our dream kitchen. I don't think we would have gotten the same result if we didn't have her. Jim, the owner, was quick to respond to any questions or concerns I had. With construction, there are always a few things that come up and they handled them efficiently. They really went above and beyond to make sure that I was both happy with the project and that everything came out to our satisfaction. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who is interested in remodeling and updating their home.

First, I was in a desperate situation when my last contractor cancelled after I had bought too many materials and needed to get going quickly. I called several people from Angie's List and Jim Yeager, owner of Yeager Flooring was the only one to be quick, polite, receptive and had a "Can Do Attitude". I felt comfortable immediately that this was not only going to happen, but I would be happy. You WILL see my home in a magazine someday soon, because it is absolutely spectacular. A total home makeover is quite an undertaking and I discovered that you really get to know these people, so you better trust 'em, like 'em, and be ready to see them often. I would honestly say that having Jim's crew, especially Kenny, was like having family taking care of my home. Every single person cared about my home like they were doing it for their own family member. Even if I didn't notice or know I wanted something done, I always got a .... "Mister Decker, this doesn't seem like you, or I'm not sure this suits what you are trying to do...." If it wasn't perfect, they made it perfect. If it wasn't working, it was fixed. I especially appreciated how they managed the other contractors and pushed them to deliver the same time of perfection, even if it meant telling me they didn't want that person in my home and found another one I would like. Jim did everything in his power to see that I was happy, his crew treated me like gold, his office staff were always pleasant to deal with, and without going into details, Jim even helped me out with a personal matter to ensure I was the happiest I could be. I'm not sure I'd take on a full remodel again, and not sure they want another project like I threw their way, but if we did, we would definitely do it together.....I have a much smaller project for them in 2015. Thank you Jim. And a BIG special thank you to Kenny, I've never met a worker in my life who cared as much as you about delivering this project! Finishing the job felt like losing my a close cousin!

Easy to work with and at a competitive price

We stated off with a slight delay in installation due to the carpet manufacturer failing to meet the promised delivery dates, but Jim and Bud resolved the issue for us with the minimum of fuss. We selected an alternate carpet and this time it arrived and was installed on the scheduled date. My wife and I are really pleased with the end result. Whenever I am looking for any form of flooring, carpets, wood floors, tiling, etc, my first call is always to Yeager Flooring. I have been using them since 2007 or so when I did my first house renovation and I am always completely satisfied with the price and the workmanship. The company is a real pleasure to work with, I have seldom come across so many high quality individuals throughout the company from the sales and accounts side to the installers. On this occasion John did the base board installation and Tom Levatino and Jordan did the carpet install. They are great to work with, they just get on with the work and you can tell that they have "all the experience in the world" and are real professionals. I would recommend them without hesitation to any one looking for a fair price and a quality product and service.

They were very good. I called them on a Saturday and they were here Monday morning. They measured and everything and called me right away to give me a quote. They did the work within a week. They moved all the furniture out of the bedrooms themselves and put everything back in.

Every indication I saw was that they are very particular and like to have complete control of their work and all factors. As our flooring needs were part of a large kitchen project that we'd contracted separately, we had some circumstances that lent themselves to a more piecemeal approach, which certainly reduced their job scope and gave them concern. They are not inexpensive. When I pay a premium price, I expect more flexibility, not less. If you want them to do everything their way, you'll be fine. If not, odds are they will decline.

They gave us a lot of other options. They were very knowledgeable. They really held our hand through the process. They were prompt and very fast and very courteous about everything they did.

Estimate was very prompt. The installer was superb and the job looks great. Unfortunately, some of the coordination was poorly managed. My credit card was charged prior to the date I authorized on the electronic contract system and the materials were left outside the house without notice the day prior to install. The good news is, I already had extra flooring for the job and it was inside the house a week prior. The front office was apologetic regarding both of these issues.

Two rooms were completed first. They had to order additional carpeting for 3rd room. Tom Levatino was the best installer we have ever had. Very professional and takes great pride in his work. It was a pleasure having Tom in our home. We will be redoing two more rooms and will order from Yeager again if we can be guaranteed Tom will do the installation. Yeager should be extremely pleased they have an individual like Tom representing their company.

All of the folks from Yeager were extremely professional, punctual and clean with their work. Their prices was just as discussed, no hidden cost. The completed remodel job is fantastic and I would recommend them to anyone.

We were a bit annoyed, at first, regarding the explanation of the lead test that had to occur prior to installation. The lead test required for our home was not explained to our comfort level. It all worked out in the end. We had amazing installers Tom & Jordon. They worked tirelessly & didn't even take a lunch, which I think they should have :). Overall, I have zero complaints about our finished product!!!

After leaving a message at Yeager & Company, I got a phone call back from Tom Levatino. I told him that the carpet in one of our rooms had developed a "buckle" or crease, and he said it sounded like it needed to be stretched with a power stretcher. We made an appointment, and he came and resolved the issue. Tom was professional and did a great job. He even vacuumed the carpet thoroughly after he was done and replaced the furniture perfectly. We would definitely use Tom again.

The owner wanted full access to the house with a copy of the key to the house. He was going to bring all his vendors for my big renovation and wanted to make sure he had access to my house when I was going to be out of town. I told him I will send a family member to open and close the house daily. He didn't like that part, stormed out and never herd from him again. Would you give a key of your home to a total stranger and trust him with 10 plus vendors? You know how handyguys are right? they try their best but things and accidents always happen, their trucks spill oil, they brake chandelier while cleaning, they spill paint, they cut wires and the list goes on. They don't intentionally do things but they end up making your life miserable. So no sir. Never will handle my house or key to a stranger. I hired another company that agreed to my terms (I'm the owner and that makes me the boss) The projects went well. We spend around $180,000 renovating bathrooms, pool, front yard and interior living spaces.

We purchased new flooring ? carpet and cushion vinyl ? from Yeager & Co. The flooring arrived sooner than promised and they put us onto their schedule for installation right away. The installers ? Tom and Don (and an apprentice) ? were very pleasant, respectful and went right to work. They stayed steadily at their work, including removing our old flooring. They did the entire job in two days, were prompt to arrive in the mornings, cleaned up their work area before leaving, and assisted us in moving some larger items of furniture. Tom is an absolute artist/craftsman when it comes to installing vinyl; he was great. Problem-wise we had a few. First off we had some serious issues with our sales rep, Mike, and almost didn't do the deal because of his less-than-honorable practices regarding pricing. But Jim Yeager stepped into the fray and straightened things out. Then, because we live in a condo and have no porch and it was predicted to rain the second day of the installation, at the end of the first day they took the carpet that was to be installed the second day out onto the grass and cut it. There are a lot of squirrels in our area and the carpet got literally infested with fleas. We have had a terrible time with it. Lastly, Jim Yeager had promised to call us to follow up on the situation when he returned from a trip out of town. That was in January ? we?re still waiting on his call. UPDATE: Jim Yeager has called and apologized for his lapse of memory in returning my call, as mentioned in my previous review. He has stated he is going to research flea control in a home where sensitive pets are located, and will get back to us.

Met with Mike the sales rep. He was very professional and answered all of our questions. They delivered the wood on time and began working on time. The crew that came to the house every day (Lee, Christian, Marco) was very professional and clean. They showed up on time and worked non stop. They where able to complete the entire house in 3.5 days. This included tearing out the old floor. I would highly recommend Yeagers and Company for your next floor project. You will not be disappointed!

The installation went very well. We had already moved out, so they used the lockbox the realtor provided. The realtor stopped by a few times while they were working and said it looked very good, but had a couple of questions about the trim near the baseboards. So I called and spoke with Jim, who went by the house the next day to see how it looked. He noticed that one of the other bedrooms had the same water damage and suggested carpeting that as well for an extra $400. They were able to complete the job within about 10 days from when we put the work order in. It enabled us to put the house on the market quickly and it sold the first day. It turned out that Jim is also a realtor, which helped in deciding what to do with the floors. He knew what we were legally bound to do when selling a house (disclosure issues) and was able to guide us to a good decision. I was impressed with his integrity and knowledge and am pleased that the new buyers are not inheriting any kind of problem with the floors.
