Called Yeager and gave information for someone to call me back. They called back within a day and received my particulars, set up an appointment right away. They have a traveling showroom, so all samples came with the salesman. He was very knowledgeable and helpful. We came to a final decision and pricing was delivered on the spot. The carpet came in quickly and installation was scheduled even quicker. The workers were very professional, courteous and knowledgeable. They were careful in moving my furniture and put it back when carpet was installed. Overall I felt like the job was very well done. The only issue I have is about a week after install, there was a place in the one of the doorways that was coming up slightly. I called the company to ask that they send someone out to put a little more glue or tack it better. The person who took my call said they would have someone call me back. To date no one has called back. I'm a bit disappointed in that since the experience was quite good up to that point. Overall I would give them another I think. UPDATE to review. Upon seeing my first review Yeager immediately called me the next day. They had someone at my house that afternoon to do the minor issue. They did apologize multiple times and indicated that they were not sure what had happened and had record of my call but somewhere in getting for intake to the person who would work the issue, the message was lost. Either way they came right away once they realized it had happened and several people in the company called to check on my satisfaction and to apologize. Mistakes happen, I understand and they did a very good job of making up for the mistake.

We had them come out to give us a quote since Angie's List had such great reviews of this company and it sounding wonderful. They did come out on time and said they would have the estimate to us early the following week, Wednesday we had not heard anything so we called, they said definitely by Friday nothing. We called again and finally received the estimate only to find it was outrageously over priced compared to three other estimates we had they were 5000 to 10000 more than the competition with the same reputations and comparable product..

I give this company an A plus rating in everything. I purchased a new home that included multi-colored tile and pink carpet from the 1970s. I was in a huge hurry to get new floors before I moved in, as I was living in a hotel. They came out quickly, gave me a quote, and had the new floors put in less than a week later, starting the day after I closed on the house! The tile removal was a great deal more difficult than they had thought it would be (someone did a REALLY good job gluing down tile!), and they ended up having to spend an entire extra day on the job and use additional materials. However, they did not charge me extra and they did what needed to be done to make it right. I came by several times during installation and there was a large teaming working incredibly hard - at one point I think there were 6 people removing tile and putting in the new floor. They covered up all of my appliances due to the dust from taking up the tile, and cleaned up when they left. Most important, the floors look great. They did an excellent job on things I had not thought about - putting down moldings, etc. I received estimates from two other companies who had somewhat lower estimates based on my rough guess at square footage, but this is the only company that came out and measured and talked with me about options. In addition to putting in new floors, they closed in a sliding glass door from a bedroom to a closed in porch area which I think upgraded my home significantly. I found Yeager on Angie's list and selected them based on their reviews, and I would highly recommend them based on my own experience.

Perfection! I called Yeager for a free Shop-At-Home Flooring Service and they got back to me quickly. Scheduled an appointment for the next day and Mike Shorba came at the agreed upon time and showed me the samples and I picked one. He said it might be 1-1/2 to 2 weeks before the installation would happen (only because I wanted sheet vinyl which they have to order). It only took a few days before I got that wonderful call to set up installation. That only took a few days and the installation was set up. I commend Mike for his friendliness and helpfulness. Thank you Mike!! You're a PRO!! Tom Levatino and helper showed up in the time frame provided. They moved all the heavy stuff and proceeded to put in the floor. I was in the next room so I sorta eavesdropped...no secret though. They got here about 9 AM and left about 1:30 PM same day. I thought it would be much longer and was surprised they were done so quickly. They put everything back and now my kitchen looks AWESOME!! Tom sure knows his stuff, he made sure everything was done correctly and trained his helper very well. I can't see enough good things about Yeager and in particular Tom. You ROCK Tom!! If I need some more flooring, I'll be sure and go through Yeager and will certainly ask for Tom and Mike. As a bonus, they were both so much fun to talk with! This company had excellent communication from the beginning to the end. They were prompt, and were even able to start the job off much quicker than originally planned. Tile work was done, that I had not originally anticipated doing, but Jim had a great vision for a fireplace that we had. The end results were fantastic, and really helped culminate the project beautifully.

This company really made me comfortable and did a great job. They really delivered on everything they said they would and care about their customers. They were great to work with, I will be sure to work with them again.

It turned out really well and they did a great job. There were additional costs because I had them do all the crown molding in my house. They did the foyer, living room, master bathroom and all upstairs hallways. It was a good experience. Their craftsmanship was great. I was pleased with the final product.

The whole process went smoothly and we are very pleased.

They were unable to do the job because due to the angles of the ceiling. Scheduling them to come out was fine. The two guys who came out explained everything well and they even fixed one spot on my wall.

We called Yeager a month before we actually moved to Tampa based not the impressive reviews in Angie's List. Mike Shorba of Yeager Flooring came to our newly purchased condo with hardwood and porcelain tile samples pre-chosen according to our preferences. The samples he brought matched our descriptions precisely and Mike proceeded to take all the necessary measurements to provide a detailed estimate for materials and labor. Mike was also sensitive to our condo's rules and regulations regarding contact work, which was a great relief to us during this project. He spoke enthusiastically about his team of professional painters and flooring installers, and that turned out to be right on target, We were thrilled with the beautiful results of our new flooring and paint project. Every detail was meticulously attended to and every request addressed. At the end of the project, which took about 3 days for the painting and 3 days for the flooring, the installers left our condo thoroughly clean of all debris-to our great delight. The cost was well-worth the amazing results and professionalism of the Yeager team. We would recommend Yeager without reservation.

I didn't end up hiring these folks due to my job's small area and the scope of what I needed. They responded quickly to my request but I was unable to make the connection, so I cannot report back on their service and quality.

They were really good. They were on time and very detail oriented. They delivered as they promised and they did exactly what they said they would do. I will definitely use them again in the future. I found them on Angie’s List and they had ‘A’ grades. So I’m really happy that they turned out as good as they were supposed to.

The owner of the company told me it?s not worth his time to come back for a $300 job.

I contacted provider asking 3 questions. Did the price include removal and re-installation of threshold and wall molding and could references be provided regarding the work requested. There were 4 hardwood floor boards that were near a door, there was water damage. The contractor quoted a price. I emailed him again and asked the same 3 questions. He said he doesn't provide references. I emailed again regarding the first question. Was the removal of wall molding and threshold included in the price. His response was "No and I am not interested in working with you." This contractor lacked professionalism and courtesy. He was rude beyond words. BEWARE. If that's the way potential customers are treated just think of trying this guy to correct anything.

Yeager & Company responded to my request for a quote to replace some carpet in a room that is currently a rental. They went into detail concerning my needs to determine the most economical product. They told me that they had to perform a lead test before proceeding with the install due to Florida rules concerning houses built before 1978. The fee for this was $150 which was 30% of the entire project. Since we were new to Florida and were not aware of this regulation concerning licensed contractors I appreciate them explaining it to us. They sent Tom Levatino to do the install. He arrived on time, had all the equipment necessary to complete the job and even removed the old tile we had taken out prior to his arrival. Tom did a wonderful professional job and we would definitely request Yeager & Co to send him for any future work at our properties.

Salesman helped me pick out everything I needed and wanted plus solved some of the problems related to cats and their smell with the new paint. Everything went well and quickly except the grout in the living room and hall way deteriorated quickly and developed some holes. They had to come and re grout ti but now it is perfect. I love the floor and new doors and plan to have them do other work. They financed the work for one year same as cash which was a big help.

Jim came out for the estimate and he was fantastic. The installation crew was run by Chris and they were old school and really took pride in their work. They were fantastic on scheduling, quality of work and efficiency. I would definitely recommend them and use them again. I spoke to 5 other companies and they really stood out compared to the other people I spoke to. As a seasoned realtor I have dealt with many contractors and this company thoroughly impressed me.

Jims guys did a fantastic job installing ~2000 sq ft of engineered wood and travertine throughout our entire new house. Everyone at their company was very professional throughout the entire process, and helped us make the right choices every step of the way. We visited their showroom quite a few times and they made sure my VERY picky wife had plenty of options to choose from and was very informed. On top of that, they went out of their way to get us many different samples from their catalogs, going as far as to deliver it to us on more than one occasion. During the installation they even handled some minor damage done to our interior closet and pantry doors exactly as I would expect professionals to: repair and/or replace the doors, no questions, "We'll take care of it," and indeed they did with no fuss. The french pattern travertine is the first thing people notice now when they walk in, everyone compliments on it and how luxurious it looks. The wood floors in our bedrooms look fantastic. We couldn't be happier. I'd recommend these guys again to any of my new neighbors! I'm glad I went with Yeager Company and not some of the other yahoos who I couldn't even understand on the phone.

Their attitude was bad. They complained that the job was too small and was a waste of their time.? They were overpriced, but not outrageously so. UPDATE: I WAS TELLING THE TRUTH ABOUT CALLING THEM. i WOULD NOT BE WRITING A BAD REVIEW IF I DID NOT HAVE AN INTERACTION WITH THEM. IF YOU WANT TO RUN A BUSINESS TELL THE TRUTH AND NOT ACCUSE THE CUSTOMERS OF LYING.

Everything went very well. The job took one day longer than anticipated, but it was done very well. The additional time was related to fitting the wood on the stair treads and creating a wood floor "landing" at the top of the stairs. The salesman who first visited was on site the first day for part of the day and that was a very professional touch. Very pleased and would highly recommend.

Water heater was fantastic. Thy woked in a tiny alcove and did not charge more for the service. I noticed the garvge compactor leakin a small bit. /they promptly responded and fixedd a lid on the compactr. No exra charge or hassle.

Everything went very well. They had some problems with cutting as the backsplash had stainless steel tiles in with the glass tiles but they worked it out. We are very pleased with the work. We have used Yeager before for flooring at our old house. We have been pleased with their work and would use them again

We had a dishwasher that leaked causing damage to the floors behind the dishwasher. We searched a few places off Angie's List but one stood out. We called Yeager & Company and Jim Yeager answered. He explained based on the age of the damaged floor (the tongue and groove design was changed since) a repair would not be possible. We scheduled a time for Jim to come evaluate the damage and provide an estimate. Jim was very knowledgeable and even gave us some advice about dealing with our home owners insurance. Jim came back with some samples and helped us pick floor/tile that looked great. After a battle with the home insurance company we came out on top. We found out on Thursday and Jim said they would be there first thing Monday. First thing Monday Jim shows up with his crew and sets up a game plan. He did this every day for a week and then a final walk through near the end so we could point out minor issues (which were all addressed in the final days). Of all the crew that were on site Wellington stood out. He was the sole tile guy and he worked tirelessly over 3 days to complete the kitchen/laundry room. We had him lay the tile on a diagonal which resulted in a lot of difficult cuts due to the odd shape of the kitchen. I even took a laser level one evening and every line I checked was spot on. I was very impressed. We absolutely love the new floors! Jim was able to work with our budget and still give us an amazing end product. We are very satisfied with the work performed by Yeager & Company and will be hiring them again.

I left a message and they returned my call and scheduled an appointment almost immediately. 2 days later I received a quote. Several weeks later they were able to squeeze me in before the holidays. The project went approximately on plan, which was approximately 4-5 days. First of all the carpentry work to repair my long damaged stair noses was excellent. I am not kidding when I say that he literally transformed all of my moldings. UNBELIEVEABLE craftsmanship. I could have had them stop right there and I would have been beyond satisfied. Secondly, after a lot of sanding, we collaborated on what the new stain should be and they were extremely helpful in suggesting a variety of hues. The final choice was a light walnut. The final work was a masterpiece. And I have had dozens of friends come to the house and could not believe I did not put brand new floors in, as it looked that perfect. I was warned about the mess/dust from the sanding from a number of people. However, my experience was very good. They used a lot of plastic and did a very thorough job cleaning up before they left. Any cleaning I did was pretty minimal. Getting your floors done will put your house in disarray for a couple of days. However, the outcome was SO worth it. Lovely people to work with and I am still giddy about the floors.
