Very good office communication and followup - Workers called when on their way. Problem was the carpet in 3 bedrooms had bubbles, creases, etc. as if heavy furniture and been slid across the floor. Tom Levatino and Keith took care of the problem by using a mechanical stretcher and ended up cutting off at least 3 inches of carpet during the stretching process. Previous installers only measured, cut, and knee tapped under base board - no real stretching. Great having Tom and Keith go such a perfect job

They came to our home and gave us a free estimate. We then visited their showroom to make final arrangements. Gus and his crew who did all the tile work were fantastic. Very hard workers! They were very neat,clean and respectful of us and our home. The wood tile added elegance and warmth to our home which I know we will enjoy for years to come.

Yeager is a rare breed! I recently purchased a home and had numerous contractors and subcontractors for various projects and, out of them all, Yeager stood out as the most customer friendly. We had an issue that was more of a misunderstanding and no fault of the company overall but the owners of Yeager went above and beyond to make sure that my husband and I were happy. Melanie Carter of Yeager & Company came out and matched the Wainscoting to our existing kitchen cabinetry. Two workmen came and applied the Wainscoting. It was a very detailed application and we weren't quite happy with one of the pieces of material that was applied. Melanie came back out to the house and agreed that the piece should be replaced. The material was ordered and the faulty piece was replaced. The bar looks AMAZING! There is a lot of detail and the Wainscoting gives the bar a rich, finished look in our kitchen. The match of the Wain coating to our existing cabinetry is perfect. We are beyond pleased with Yeager & Co. They are professional, extremely responsive, and are so easy to work with. There is never a question of the customer's concerns or opinions. They happily comply with the customer's requests and without extra charges! We used Yeager for our flooring, our stairway, and now our kitchen remodeling. They are an overall quality company.

They explained that the flooring that was installed 7 years ago was put down incorrectly and was the reason why it was buckling and lifting. That the floor should have had plywood and a moisture barrier put down 1st, per the directions of the manufacturer and that all the rooms would have to be pulled up and reinstalled completely. We are devastated that the previous company installed these floors incorrectly. Just to have 1 very large room done the estimate was $7,500. which included the old flooring to be ripped up. This is a top rated company, very professional and they know what they are talking about. I would use them in the future.

The people at Yeager have been wonderful to deal with. We purchased carpet for two guest rooms in a new home, and Jim and Vinny were very helpful. They provided recommendations for carpet type and quality based on the location, and even visited with samples so I could see the carpet in the rooms. I appreciated Jim's suggestion regarding using high quality padding and moderately priced carpet; it helped me stretch our budget. Tom and Keith installed the carpet, both experienced professionals who were exceptionally pleasant and easy to work with. The master bedroom floor was in sorry shape when we purchased the home; I had thought the floor was a poor quality laminate, but Jim examined it and told us it was actually hardwood which had been treated with some sort of wax product which left a thick, sticky residue. His floor refinishing expert, Bob, and his assistant, Travis, were able to sand and refinish it to a beautiful sheen, saving us costly replacement of the floor. Melanie also assisted us with measuring several closets for custom refits. She had many helpful ideas and I really appreciated her input. Should we need any floor services in the future, Yeager's is the only place I would consider going. They have been helpful, attentive, and gave good, practical advice whenever needed. Many thanks to them for making our move a little easier!

This is the second major remodeling job we have done with Yeager. We did our did our due diligence and met with some other contractors obtaining estimates, but again chose to do business with Yeager based upon the price, comfort level with Yeager, and (most importantly) our satisfaction with the previous job. We had a good idea of what we wanted and worked with their designer Melanie to fill in the details. She was great to work with and Jim Yeager also kept the project in line and on time. Jim Yeager clearly cares about the quality of the finished project. On a couple of his visits to the job, he pointed out changes to the crew that weren't required, but asked "wouldn't it be nicer if x/y/z". These changes cost him more money, but he wanted it done right. The crews were courteous, professional and took great care to minimize dust. Our project used subcontractors for the plumbing, electrical work and custom cabinetry. The total cost of our project including the subcontractors and finish upgrades came to $34,000. Based upon the other estimates we received, we feel this was a great value and couldn't be happier with the finished results. We would definitely use Yeager again.

The three man crew showed up on time and began removing my carpet from upstairs. I told them parts of the floor squeaked when you walked on them and they used screws to tighten the loose floorboards. They used vacuums to keep the clutter at a minimum. The new carpet was installed and looks fantastic: all within a 7 hour period.

We needed new carpet installed throughout much of the house, interviewed several companies and decided to go with Yeager, based on their reviews here, reasonable price, promise of quick service delivery and Mike's professional and polite conduct. We were not disappointed. Tom Levatino and Keith did a phenomenal job - not only the quality of work was fantastic, but they took great care to make sure the comfort of our family during the installation was their number one priority. We recently ordered new carpet flooring from Yeager after our home flooded. Mike was extremely friendly to work with in the store and even came out to our home with samples to help us match the new carpet to some of our older flooring. There was a slight hiccup with the manufacturer shipping our carpet late (something Yeager could not control) and instead of pushing back our install date Jim Yeager went way above and beyond, sending one of his guys way out of town to pickup our carpet and bring it back so it could be installed as scheduled. The installers were on-time, very friendly/professional and paid great attention to detail. It was a drastically different experience compared to what we saw when replacing carpet with a different company 3 years ago. They've earned themselves a customer for life! Highly recommended.

I would not hesitate to use Yeager and Company again. Mr,.Yeager put new floors throughout my entire home. My husband and I were unsure what type of flooring to use in a condo close to the water and Mr. Yeager suggested a new product that was perfect for our needs and looks absolutely beautiful. Being a very new flooring product, he was unhappy with the initial installation, through no fault of his own, but the company manufacturing the floors. He completely took the floors up, donated them to Habitat for Humanity, and put down all new flooring. He wanted perfection and I was more than pleased with my end result. When we decided on doing the kitchen and baths we contacted Melanie who worked out all the details of what we wanted done including changes that were made along the way. When the work commenced Melanie and Rich were on site and orchestrating what had to be done and I was kept informed with what has happening. The employees are courteous, respectful, and punctual. The kitchen and baths were remodeled at the same time so Melanie made sure that we had a "functional" bathroom for usage and whatever else we needed. They laundry closet that was extended is a major plus. We have front load washer/dryer that are on pedestals with drawers (that we use) we couldn't have functioning bi-fold doors and instead had curtains. I asked Melanie about this and she knew exactly what to do. Melanie, Rich, and team enlarged the closet with 2 doors that close when I'm not using the washer/dryer and added more storage space. The most important part was knowing that at anytime I could contact Melanie or Rich to ask questions to. Melanie is great with design and knew what I wanted. There were some days that I could not have workers in the house so they would work around my schedule. When we had the floors done the employees came in and went right to work. Within 2 1/2 days we had the floors done in 3 bedrooms and 2 living rooms. They even placed pads (that we had purchased separately) on the bottoms of the furniture not to scratch the floors. During this time I was able to work from home without any interruptions. My kitchen and baths are more functional with the new cabinets. I have nothing but excellent things to say about Yeager and Company. It is a pleasure doing business with them.

I have relied on Yeager & Co. for many years for home renovation needs. They have done kitchen remodeling, flooring, and general contracting work on my property. This project involved converting an outdated tub to a shower. The entire process was seamless with excellent communication. They worked with me to choose the most aesthetically pleasing and cost effective tile. As usual, the job was done on time and in a tidy manner. It was a beautiful job. Everything was redone - new floor and wall tile, new lighting, crown molding, painting, new shower with glass shower doors, new cabinets, sinks, jacuzzi bathtub, mirrors, all hardware (faucets, shower head, etc.) It doesn't even look like the old bathroom and everyone I show it to is completely impressed. The workers and the owner are very accommodating and go out of their way to be pleasant and helpful. They also do a great job of cleanup afterwards. I have used Yeager flooring co. several times and I am always impressed.

The owner, Jim Yeager, arrived promptly to provide an estimate. He showed great concern about the age of the house and the possibility of lead based paint which he tested for and found evidence of. He noted that his company is one of the few that are certified to work with lead-based products and provided a helpful booklet on how homeowners and contractors should handle lead-based paint. The information was helpful but I felt that he was overly alarmist. It was clear that he didn't really want to do the jobs which was puzzling because his firm obviously knows how to handle lead-based products. It was an odd sort of pressure; he was essentially saying that "my firm is the only one who can do this properly" so that his rather high quote to perform the job would be accepted as no other choice was possible. I did find another firm, with a sterling reputation, long experience in the field, and lead certification, to perform the job.

Jim was a pleasure to work with. He came in and met with my wife and I to see what we had in mind. He gave us suggestions and was upfront on things we should avoid in order to save money. Once we made the decision to move forward with Jim, his team was on the job and worked extremely hard to meet our expected deadlines. My wife and I just felt really comfortable working with Jim and his team. There were no hidden surprises, which is extremely important when working within a set budget. If I need any work done on my kitchen, bath, flooring, etc...Jim will be the 1st person i will call.
