Apollo and his team are great. They asked for images of the problems beforehand to be able to be prepared when they arrived. They were on time and moved through the list quickly. The work was very good. He gave us well thought out options for some of the larger issues. No money was exchanged as our landlord paid the bill. I would highly recommend them. Also, on the way out, he switched the dryer door to make it more accessible. Thanks to A-1 Handyman Services!

We’ve been using A-1 Handyman for almost 4 years now, and every project has been completed to our utmost satisfaction. If the result was not what we expected, Apollo, and his assistant Tito, would go out of their way to make sure it worked out exactly as we had hoped. Recently we asked A-1 to install some can lights over the kitchen work area. I had picked out some that I was convinced would be the answer to our need for very bright but even lighting, Apollo suggested a different type of lighting unit, I was skeptical, but when Apollo said “trust me,” based on my experience working with A-1, I agreed. And, of course, we could not be more pleased with the result. These guys are real pros, whether it’s a small “handyman” job or a major renovation.

Extremely well. Mr. Rodriguez came and gave me an estimate soon after we made contact. We set up a day for the work to be done, he called me the evening before to confirm, and arrived right on time. The job was finished and they were out the door in the time frame that he gave me. They were professional and did excellent work. I would definitely use them again if the need arises.

The contractor never called. I took time to quest quote and was not give a courtesy of a response. The main reason I use Angieslist this service is that I find most contractors to be responsive.

My hot water heater went out in the morning and I called Apollo that morning and he worked me in after lunch time. I have hard water and scale had built up making the bottom valve was plugged up. He showed me that my 15+ year old water heater had failed and was actually in a dangerous condition. The bottom heater element had been arching and scorched the wires. He recommended replacement and he went with me to pick one out and get the additional hardware (hoses, pan). He pulled the old heater out and had the replacement in place shortly afterwards. Apollo and his assistant did a very nice job and after three week I've had zero issues. Nice hot water. I whole heartedly recommend A-1 Handyman and i'll be using again in the future.

Apollo dropped everything on a Saturday and come out and check my toilet. I explained the problem and he came with the part and put it in. Have used A-1 for a long time and can't say enough about Apollo and his staff. Very humble, honest and qualified and if he cannot accomplish the task he has people that can. Apollo ou are such a liar and a real piece of work. You know exactly what happened and you always manage to get it covered up. This is WHY I don't use "Angie's List" anymore. You could have done the right thing and got so much more work. But you got paid more then a Doctor doing Surgery for what you did do and much you did not even do. Do you know of ANY Handyman that makes $315.00/Hr. ?? " I am really surprised at this review. As I walked with you before the check was written you thanked us for such great work. You wrote a review 2 days later with 5 stars. A year plus later you write this? I just don't understand." Both my 85 year old Mother and myself noticed when I came to inspect the work they were suddenly in a huge hurry to leave and did a rush job showing what had been done. Very unprofessional on their part. They had hung the front door lights upside down and did not paint around them that would take 10 minutes we provided the paint to do so but it was not done at all. (WE) provided the following for them : Kitchen Light 4 outside Motion Detector lights Doorbell and 2 buttons 2 Front door lights and matching outdoor paint. 90% was provided for them ahead of time. 5th outdoor light was not checked as promised and worst of all NO clean up after themselves. They did NOT clean up at all after work was done. All other contractors of every stripe not only clean up but if they leave anything it is in a neat pile in breezeway. ( I was finding things a week later that were just left behind in boxes not readily seen by me. ) We felt the upside down lights, lack of cleaning up and pay of $945 for 4 hours work was too high and behavior when I showed up to be unprofessional and very obvious they were rushing to get out too fast. Description of work: This is an update from work done on 5-28-18. Replaced Kitchen light. Soth front door lights, doorbell and two buttons. Replace 4 exterior motion lights. Cut and repaired damage above Well Bladder roof overhang. Cleaned and Kiltz 2 areas of Master Bedroom. Loosened one vanity light to see if there was wall paper behind it. Replaced two overhead bulbs in Family room (only) not light fixture. Apollo came quickly and did the work on the spot. He is an honest man of integrity with a great attitude and I highly recommend him. He was careful and went beyond the call of service to make certain things looked right when finished. Feathered in the paint beautifully. This is an honest and skilled contractor. Angie's list has a winner with this company. A1+++

Everything went as well or better than my expectations and in a very timely manner ahead of schedule. Apollo responded very quickly. Got the job started quickly. Was always here on time, and finished everything I asked for ahead of schedule. Not only did he do a great job but he was always putting me at ease. Answering questions before I even knew I had them. He really turned what could have been a bad situation into a great one. I’m very grateful and will certainly use him again.

Arrived on time, able to determine best location for new access, proceeded to cut and trim opening including purchase supplies necessary. Job was performed meticulously and project finished completely including cleanup...no need for any further touch-up. Was able to purchase correct fan switch for job and replace to as good as new. Excellent arrived promptly at 8 done by around 10. Very happy with work they did. Explained concerns with me and got my approval as to what to do. I would highly recommend and will use in the future if needed.
