PROMPT AND PROFFESSIONAL

The rooftop solar panel for our hot water heater was leaking water onto the patio. We called Broward Solar for an estimate and spoke to Jim Coryell. The response was very prompt and in fact he was able to get out to us that same afternoon. Jim is knowledgeable, professional and friendly. We hired Broward Solar to do the work, it was done within a few days, the workmen were punctual, courteous, and efficient and we have had no further problems.

They were recommended by the company which did my reroof, because I did not want to deal with the company who originally installed my TCT Solar hot water tank. Jim is a straight shooter, no frills, professional. Quoted me a (very good) price over the phone. His employees showed up as scheduled, and disconnected the 40 gallon solar hot water tank on the roof. It was originally agreed that the tank would not come off the roof while the reroof work was going on. The roofer surprised me and took the tank off the roof. When the roof was bare, Broward Solar's crew came back and reattached the mounting brackets to ensure a water tight seal. It turns out they did a much better job than the original installation. It's a hurricane proof installation. The way it is now, the house is going to blow away before the tank goes anywhere. Finally, when the reroof was finished they came back a third time and put the tank back on the roof. This tank, empty, weighs 220 Lbs. I believe that Jim could have come back to me and asked for more money because the original agreement called for the tank to stay on the roof, and he had to call in additional staff to get that tank back up on the roof. He stuck with his quoted price, not once did he ever say anything. Just went about the business of delivering the services he was contracted for. Broward Solar so impressed me that I am contacting TCT Solar (the manufacturer of my tank) to recommend they use Broward Solar as their rep down here.

The solar panels are a big help and this company was a pleasure to work with. They do good work, in a timely manner. Everything they did passed inspections and I have had no problems with it.

They always showed up at a reasonable time to complete the work. He was very honest and told me that the panels did not have to be replaced after the roof was replaced.

The installers arrived at the prearranged time on the scheduled date, and completed the job in little more than three hours as opposed to the estimate they had given me, which was closer to five hours. The system worked fine initially, but the following morning, it seemed as if something was not functioning correctly. They had someone here within a few hours to diagnose the problem, and the man was able to find it and fix it.
