Description of Work: We took the car in for transmission problems & oil leaking - Based on Angie's reviews we chose Topline. Owner was pleasant enough. ;Job was determined to replace transmission& stop leaks. To continue... The job was to replace but became rebuild -When we finally got the car back after about $200.00 more than the bid, then there was more oil leaking. We hesitated to go back!!! But then

GREAT!!!
Description of Work: Great service First too a '96 Pontiac in for what I thought was new brakes. Eric checked brakes, transmission and just the car in general. Didn't need new brakes, just new fluid,adjustment, and same for transmission. Very pleased.Couple days later took our 98 Town car in for an electrical problem and overall check. Eric fixed the electrical problem, and gave the car a good once-over. Runs like a charm now.Very impressed that he only fixed what needed to be fixed, and not what we thought needed to be done.Will definitely be our auto repair shop in Naples!!!!!!!!!

+ -1 moreI called in the afternoon, to see if I could schedule a computer scan on my wife's Saturn Ion, because the check engine light had been on for a few days. The cheerful professional voice on the line said to bring it right in. I did, and within 30 minutes I was out of there, knowing that there was nothing seriously wrong, a concise explanation of what may have caused the light to come on, and a reduction in the usual fee for the scan. These guys could have made up something in order to make money, but being honest professionals, they were straight up with me. I will definitely bring my vehicles here from now on. Great folks, friendly, professional, and proud to be on Angie's list.

Description of Work: I took my GMC 2500 in because my aircondtioning stop working. They offered a 19.95 testing of your system(very good) They found the problem in a very reasonable amount of time(I waited for my truck to be evaluated).Cost of this repair sounded fair(they asked before starting repairs(a must for me)Parts were ordered promptly and repair was completed quickly.They replaced blower motor and fan relay.

Description of Work: Needed to find out why the engine was running fast. So brought in for a check up. Quickley found the problem, and gave an estinmate. Since it was a lease vechicle., I did not get it repaired, but did help in making my decision on whether to buy at end of lease.

Description of Work: I had an emergency type problem with a tire. Worn badly and inappropriately. Cords were exposed I didn't dare drive it. I wanted to get the same tire as the rest on the car. They couldn't help me quickly but gave me good advice and directed me to my dealer. The dealer took care of the problem but they were slow and overpriced. I will definitely return to this shop.

+ -1 moreOur 2003 Lexus ES300 needed 60,000 mile servicing. Germain Lexus quoted $969. Found Topline on this site and called and Bill Evans, the owner, quoted $350. Bill drove me home in his car and picked me up in his car. The work was performed in 4 hours. Bill gave me a 15% Angieslist discount without my asking. The bill was higher than the estimate because $90 of alignment was needed which he had estimated in advance if needed. Bill says he owned a Firestone franchise in Chicago and retired here and opened his similar business. He obviously likes interacting with people and wants to provide good service at fair prices. His card says, "We do it right the 1st time."
Description of Work: Change oil, filter, coolant, transmission with filters. Rotate tires. Check AC filter and clean. 60,000 mile service.

Description of Work: This company saved us about $1,700 after we went to it for a second opinion. An unscrupulous other auto repair/tire shop had dreamed up $1,700 in imaginary repairs that weren't necessary. The car has been running great ever since.
