Installation went as scheduled. Quality of windows is top notch. Installers really went above and beyond to finish the windows inside and out (our property needed a LOT of work to make the windows look flush) they kept my house clean and they were very professional. Would definitely reccomend and rehire.

I had storm windows and doors installed. The company was great form start to finish - from the sales presentation to scheduling and then installation. The team was experienced and talented as well as courteous and friendly. They worked hard and consistently and kept the house as clean and debris-free as possible. The project manager on the job was a great communicator and organized the work well. I was very satisfied with the quality of the installation and the quality of the product.

This is a very professional company. Within minutes after I received the "recommended contractors list" from Home Advisor, a marketing person from FL S&A called me and got an appointment for the next day for a visit. (one other company on the list did not bother to call, and the other one called 2 weeks later). A few days after the visit by FL S&A we received a detailed plan that included a price offer and a schedule to accomplish the project. They met all the promised dates and completed the project on Feb 2, 2017. Their personnel (both business and technical) have been very responsive, courteous and competent. I recommend FL S&A without reservation.

Excellent company. The sales representatives took a lot of time giving me information and answering my questions. The installation people accommodated my scheduling needs. And the company checked on my satisfaction several times.

Our experience with this vendor was excellent. We needed to replace our 20 year-old builder grade windows and patio doors for efficiency and appearance reasons. Our salesman Ian was professional and knowledgeable and made the buying decision very easy for us. Brian and his crew worked quickly and minimized the dust and debris exceptionally well. On a side note, they found a huge leak over one of the doors and offered to repair it at no additional cost! No one will do that. I stand by their service and will recommend them to all of my friends and family. In every case, all steps, answers, quotes, measuring, installations, products, cleanups, and follow-ups, were of the highest quality and done professionally and courteously. They prove the old axiom, "High Quality doesn't cost; it pays!".

Extremely professional organization. From the front office to the workers in the field. Delivered when they said they would and completed in the time promised. Even with a wrong size unit being made by the manufacturer FS&A stayed right on top of it until the right unit was made, shipped, and installed. I will (and have done so already) highly recommend them for anyone's doors and windows needs. doors and windows to

I decided the time had come to replace my single pane 1986 era house windows and to get an impact front door while I was at it. My project was for seven window openings and a front door with sidelight replacements. I knew it would be expensiveâthe Miami-Date County hurricane standards dominate and they are exactingâand that I would be paying upwards of $1000 per window and at least double that for the door and sidelight replacement. Picking a Vendor and a Product I invited five vendors to submit bidsâtwo big box stores (Home Depot and Loweâs) and three local replacement window companies. The in-home visits were fascinating both in terms of new stuff learned and watching the sales techniques employed. I learned about the differences between aluminum and vinyl windows, why a low Solar Heat Gain Coefficient (SHGC) was so important in the South Florida environment and even learned the benefits of LowE 366 coatings could provide me in both comfort and energy savings. I learned that all the proposed vendors were tied to a specific window manufacturer and this also had to be a big part of the selection equation. I decided that having a Florida based manufacturer was important, both because of the need to adhere to Miami-Dade standards and their presence in the event of any warranty claims. I ended up picking Florida Solar & Air because of the time the sales rep spent with me on my choices and because of the solid reputation of the CGI Windows and Door company as a provider of hurricane resistant products, their price point (2nd lowest quote) and mostly favorable customer reviews on Angieâs List and Home Advisor web sites. I selected a Vinyl Frame (for its energy efficiency), a 3 Layer, 7/16â Clear LoE 366 Laminated Glass in a Horizontal Rolling Window with an SHGC of .27. I placed the order, paid my deposit and waited for the delivery date. So How Did Installation Go? There were problems. The sidelight window did not arrive because the window was broken, because the wrong kind was delivered, because, becauseâyou pick the reason. Thus, the door and sidelight install had to be delayed. Second, the wrong kind of window was ordered and installed in one of my bedroomsâa change order executed within 24 hours of the original contract was not reflected in the order to the window manufacturer. Finally, two of the six horizontal sliding windows opened in a different direction than specified in the original order. Obviously, there are issues on the Order Entry level at Florida Solar & Air. One of the windows developed a squeak when opening and quickly escalated into a warranty issue. The good newsâCGI techs corrected the problem in about 15 minutes and it has not reoccurred. I worked with two installer crews and both were proficient and did good quality work (excepting one window that during City inspection required the insertion of additional screwsâfortunately an installer was present during inspection). They also t

I just wanted to take a minute to commend the installation guys. They were awesome. They were professional and polite. They took extraordinary care to protect our home from dirt and damage and cleaned up everything when they were finished. Unfortunately, that kind if service is now out of the ordinary, but their company has been great from start to finish! I would recommend them to anyone looking for a great company with great prices. We will be having more windows switched out in the near future, and I can say for sure their company will be the one we call!

Went well overall. I like the hurricane / impact windows. Detail was not as good. White spot on marble windowsill was left and I pointed it out (size of a quarter, I thought it was adhesive, but it was in the marble) then they replaced it. Screen problem on one, I pointed it out, and it was re-screened. Windowsills left dirty, I pointed it out, and they were cleaned. Windows were also left dirty. Someone should have been responsible to check everything and make sure it was top notched, without having the customer see it and have to point it out to be fixed. Management should assign someone to do a final inspection, and fix everything before letting the customer know that the job is finished. The windows are still dirty, except for 2 that I washed myself, but I am 70 and it's not as easy as it was when I was 20, but that was 50 years ago. They need more attention to detail.
