Dan arrived within the time frame agreed upon and was very courteous and friendly. He listened to my concerns and promptly went about those items as well as taking care of the broken sprinkler head and checking every other sprinkler within an extensive sprinkler system. He was extremely helpful in explaining my master control box and how to change the timing and zones. I have been very pleased with the new irrigation areas that had been installed by Active Environment previously and now, am very pleased with the repair and irrigation check.

Dan was very friendly and informative. He gave me some instruction as to how to operate my irrigation function box and spent quite a lot of time making sure the heads were adjusted properly. I feel he charged a fair price for the head he had to replace. I will definitely use them again!

Once work was complete I was happy. Just misunderstandings on appointment times and when actual work was to be done. It was a bit of a struggle. Overall happy with work done.

The service was just excellent! The technicians showed up on time and did exactly what they quoted and finished one time as well. If you need any irrigation job done these are the folks you want to call no need to call anyone else.

They were great. This is the second time they have been on here. They just come in, the do their thing and they leave and it is really easy. You don't have to really do anything. They always do a great job. I would use them again in the future.

Active Environmental responded like they were supposed to the day of. They were going to follow-up with some additional information and they never did that. They did everything they were obligated to do initially but the follow-up didn't happen. We set-up an appointment and they came by. The gentleman did what he was asked to do and we had talked possibly doing something else with the system but they never followed back after that.

Tech was on time, dressed professionally, quick and courteous. Awesome!

It was an Angie's List Big Deal and I bought the deal last year and this year. It was good. I paid more because I had them do some additional work. They did come on the wrong day but it was fine.

I was very pleased. The tech arrived on time, a bit early in fact. He performed the tune-up and adjusted all the heads quickly. I needed one replaced, he had it on the truck and installed it right then. The head replacement was extra, and the price was reasonable. I might have saved $5.00 by purchasing the head myself, but then I would have to install it myself! It was worth having the job done within 30 minutes! I plan to use them to install an additional zone in my backyard and would recommend them highly.

Didn't seem like a "tune up." Sprinklers didn't work much, if any, better. Seemed like a waste of money. Maybe other work would be good - I don't know - but the tune up itself was pretty much worthless.

I was pleased with the job. The owner came out to walk the yard and provide the quote. Her was very personable. The tech who was scheduled to come out, apparently resigned, so the job was rescheduled a few days later. It still went very smoothly and I would recommend them. It would be a nice touch if they followed up to see if I was happy with their work.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. There were no additional charges. They wanted to charge me $5 a head and I told them that I could just replace them myself but the guy was nice enough to blow them out and take them apart on a couple of them and made sure that the filters were working properly. The gentleman told me to give him and his crew some uniforms and when they get wet, they dry quickly because the poor guy was soaking wet. He deals with sprinklers so that's expected. I guess he jumped a couple of the heads but I'm not quite sure he did that because I had already placed about 15 sprinkler heads since last year. I've been working on them myself but I don't know if that was in the description or not for them to dig them up and put them in the proper positioning that they were supposed to be. I'm just glad the unit worked fine and we didn't have any problems. He was a really nice guy. He was right on time when he said he would be. Unfortunately I would not use them again. They did what they were supposed to do but everything he did, I probably could have just done myself.

All went well and I would use this company again.

Overall we were very impressed with their work ethic. They took time to educate us on best lawn watering practices.

We were not impressed with Active. After purchasing a big deal, it took three phone calls to get scheduled. Once scheduled they showed up to do the "tune-up" we purchased but I was disappointed that they didn't seem to make any adjustments to our system aside from one small change of time. They suggested work be done to replace a broken sprinkler head and also address a dry spot which I appreciated, however, despite the promise that we would have the estimate the same day, it took about 3 more days to get the email back from them. I'm sure the summer is a busy time for folks in the irrigation business, but I'm surprised with the lack of responsiveness in general. On the bright side, they were professional while on our property.

Service done right from start to finish. From the time I made contact to schedule my appointment until the tech, Dan, finished his onsite inspection. I was impressed with Dan's professionalism and customer service attitude. He represents Active Environmental well and I would definitely recommend this company and service to a friend.
