The men arrived on time, worked diligently and completed the assignment in four hours. I was very pleased.

The entire experience was awful.  The drivers didn't show up on time; the office staff could never give a straight answer; the owner lied about every aspect of their services.  The packers and movers were cooperative although dismissive of time constraints.  What was promised to be handled within a seven day period ending up being over three weeks of waiting. The owner was accusatory saying that it was our fault and that we did not represent the size of the storage unit (a 5x8 storage unit only fits so much) therefore he had to wait until there was enough room on a truck.  It was his staff that determined how much room was needed on the truck for 400 cubic feet of furniture and boxes.  
My husband and I have moved 18 times over the past 25 years so we know something about moving and movers.  Save yourself some grief - do not use this company.

My friend recommended me Suntrust Van Lines since she used them for her move to North Carolina over the summer. I decided to go ahead and do my move with Suntrust Van Lines since it was all last minute decision. My main concern was the handling of my antique furniture which as been passed down for generations and Im glad the movers handled it with so much care. I also didn't have time to pack so I decided to do Full Service Packing and I was surprised how everything was packed for me in less than 5 hours! Since I was on a time crunch I really appreciated the attentiveness from the day of pick up, transit, and delivery. My items arrived on time with no damages and they were very careful with placing all my furniture in my new home. I payed a little more over my estimate since I took more than I planned but I was happy with the service and was charged same rate I locked in. I will be using Suntrust Van Lines again in the future and I will recommended them to my friends and family.

I recently had Suntrust van-lines move my things from Ft. lauderdale, FL to Atlanta, Georgia for a job relocation. It's been very hectic for me since then but I was so happy with the service that I wanted to take the time to leave a quick review. Paid what I was quoted and the movers were so professional and friendly. I will definitely be recommending to my friends!

The move was smooth sailing, movers came on time, packed all our stuff nice and secure. We were really lucky to have chosen suntrust moving, considering all the horror stories I read about. Would definitely use them again.

This was my first time ever using a moving company and after some shopping around, I decided to go with Suntrust Vanlines. It wasn't an easy decision for my family, but they had the best price and the sales representative was very attentive and helpful. My things arrived the day and time I was quoted and I paid what I was quoted. I finally decided to leave them a review when I unpacked my belongings and nothing was damaged. I'm very happy with how everything went and would recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable headache free moving company.

Do NOT use this company. It has been an absolute nightmare dealing with them and we have learned that they have a horrible reputation for cheating and lying to customers. Watch out for fake positive recommendations from other sites like yelp.
When all was said and done we paid double over what they originally quoted. They told us it would take 8 days and it took over a month (my family literally slept in sleeping bags on the floor for weeks). We caught them in lie after lie after lie about the status of our delivery. We called them the day that our delivery was supposed to arrive (8 days after pickup) and only then were told that the truck that was supposed to make the cross country trip to us had not been loaded yet! A week after that (again when we had to call them) we were told the truck had broken down a quarter of the way here. We found out after the truck arrived that our stuff had been sitting in a warehouse the entire time and that there was never a breakdown! They were just waiting to cram as many orders that they could into one truck. When our stuff did arrive we were missing multiple items, the boxes were moldy from improper storage (when they were supposedly supposed to be in transit but were actually in a
warehouse). I caught a look at the next drop off they were going to make from the truck and quite a few items were smashed so it was not just us. I would NOT recommend this company to anyone. They take on orders they obviously cannot handle, the story changes with whoever you talk to, and once they get your initial payment they make it obvious they do not care about you or your issues. You will get multiple apologies but they will just keep lying and nothing will be done to resolve your situation.
Estimate vs. Cost =
Doubled and included multiple additional charges like $700 for packing
tape (after we had packed everything ourselves and were told that
packing of our beds and couch would be free)
Honesty = Non-existent. Very underhanded practices across the board
- They charge by space not by weight so when my wife was not looking they packed items that my wife had told them not to touch in the largest boxes they had. We opened them on arrival and they were half full and they had packed items like a large garbage can we had in the garage that was still full of garbage!
- $700 for packing tape after we had packed everything we
wanted and were told that couches/beds would be secured/wrapped for
free.
- The guys that packed the first truck asked for over a thousand dollar tip
stating that was standard practice and seeing if my wife would fall for
it. (after one of them was too hung over to work and kept tossing in our
yard)
- Lie after lie after lie about the status of our shipment
- The truck driver on arrival tried to strong arm my wife into signing a document stating
that we would had received everything and would take no action against
them when we clearly had not. We had missing pieces of furniture that they had packed and various other missing and damaged items.
Promptness = Said it would take 7-8 days. Took a month.
Communication= Non-existent. We had to call repeatedly to get any information which
was almost always wrong or an outright lie just to get us off the phone. They promised to call back multiple times and almost
never did.
State of delivery = Damaged (severely crushed and moldy boxes that smelled horrible), Missing boxes/materials
Professionalism= Non-existent. What you will get is multiple apologies with no change
in your position. They will dodge your calls. They will not call you
back. When we gave them the chance to make things right they offered us a
fractional (literally less than 1% of our total end cost) discount if
we would sign a document stating that we would give up all rights to file a
claim prior to the order arriving. They were as shady as you can get.
P.S.
Everyone is entitled to their opinion but I have read several reviews from other sites like yelp
and the positive ones are NOT indicative with our experience
or how this company operates. Some of the reps we dealt with are mentioned by name with
glowing recommendations for actions which we were told they have nothing to do with. (The initial sales rep
calling back daily with updates on where the order is at, etc). Watch out for fake positive posts.

We had more than we expected and the movers made the move so much easier. Would recommend to others.

I used Suntrust Van lines for my move about 2 weeks ago. I usually don't write review about services but i had to write one for them.
when the sales representative spoke with me she educated me on the moving processed (this is my first big move) she made me feel very comfortable. on the day of the move the guys where very professional and the wrapped everything very good for me. they did a great job and they where very nice!
My furniture got to my new home on time and the guys put everything in the rooms and put it back together. 
I was very happy with their service and I already recommended them to my friend.

They were nice and professional from start to finish. Natalie contacted me with information and provided me with an estimate. She went over everything so I felt very comfortable choosing them. When the movers arrived they were pleasant and handled my furniture and boxes with care. I am a single mother and they helped me feel safe. I knew I was in good hands and was pleased with the service. I received my furniture at the end of the week and everything was fine. They even set up my bed. I would definitely recommend them in the future.
