Excellent job

We needed to have the floor tile of our master bathroom re-done. Come to find out, we needed a new pan in the floor as well. We were told by Buffkin's that it would be $1100. We called around, got more quotes, but went back to Buffkin's. Sure, we had hoped to spend less, but it's work that needed to be done. Steve and Gene were exteremely professional, and did a terrific job. We would recommend them to anyone.

They were excellent, on time, professional, and told me step by step what was going on. They gave me a price ahead of time and there were no hidden costs. They completed the job in timely manner.

From picking out the tile to the clean up went very smooth. Recommend: Include plan details for fixtures, layout of tile, work schedule for completion. Have new fixtures before job begins.

He is excellent. The work turned out exactly how I wanted it. The work is done very clean. They are very efficient and quick with the work as well. Everything is lined up perfectly.

It was an excellent experience. From the initial sales person to help pick out the tile, to the contractor who came and measured for the estimate. Contractor ordered the selected tile, scheduled the demo, plumber, prep team and tile installers efficiently. The work crew worked with accuracy and expeditiously. The tile installers worked with great precision. We couldn't be happier!

They do not seal the tile.We had to do that ourselves. We did not want grout between tiles. We got grout. Except for that the bathroom looks great.

They were very good and I got what I paid for. I liked their services and will use the same in future.

Overall, it went well. They helped moving furniture(especially the very large pieces) and worked around some that could not be moved out of the room. They missed one detail. They padding was supposed to be the heaviest padding. After several inquiries about the pad quality, they insisted it was the heavy padding and installed the lesser grade of padding. After going back to the store and getting a sample of the padding that we ordered and comparing it with the installed padding, the installers took up carpet in the family and living room and installed the correct padding. Given the pattern and style of the carpet, seams at bedroom and hallway doors are very noticeable. According to the manager, that was and quot;the nature of the beastand quot;. Other areas that matched up to tile in the kitchen, dining room and bathrooms were done very well. The installers were professional, helpful, polite and courteous. They worked with the material and information provided to them. The miscommunication about padding was higher in management.

very well.removal of old tile is a messy job but they covered as much as possible and sealed other room from dust accumulation. job was done in 2 phases since furniture had to be moved from room to room. .

The two people who installed the tile arrived on time and on the date expected. All the floor surfaces over which the tile installers were to walk were covered with drop cloths so that no dust or dirt would be tracked through the house. The job was done professionally and well. The two men cleaned up after themselves when they were finished. My only complaint would be that the estimate for the amount of tile needed for the job was so exact that I was left with only two tiles, one of which was a sample from the store (and may not exactly match the tile installed). This is something I have never experienced with tile installation before as usually there is more tile available for the customer to keep in case repairs are needed in the future. Overall though I was very happy with this company's sales people and then the subsequent installation of the tile.

Working with Buffkin was a great experience. From measuring the floors and preparing the estimate, to completing the work, everything went smoothly. The 2 installers were very professional and personable, and were prompt and efficient. They moved all the furniture out of each of 5 rooms, put it all back when they finished, and cleaned all the new flooring. We love our new floors.

They have done an excellent job, and I like my bathroom now. They were contracted through another company. There were two crews that worked. Both the crews were professional and showed up on time. They cleaned up after themselves, and they did a great job.

After getting estimates from 6 companies, I chose Buffkin because of price and the fact they had their own installers, not contracted ones. When getting an estimate, they answered all questions, and when I phoned in with other questions, the manager promptly returned my phone call if he was not available at the time. The installers were prompt, cleaned up after themselves and were very courteous. They even painted the quarter round with the matching paint I provided. The price was one of the lowest of those from whom I got estimates. I will definitely use them again.

I have gone into the store and looked at their products and they have come to my house for the estimate. Their prices were high. They were very pleasant and had a lot of products to select from. The person that came out was their tile person and he was nice and wonderful. I haven't decided which company I am going to use, but they are on the high end. They provided the information I asked for in a timely way.

We were remodeling our bathroom and wanted a tile that could be installed with minimal or no grout. Buffkins carries an Italian tile that is beautiful (and expensive) that gave us what we wanted. Staff at the Merritt Island and Melbourne stores were extremely helpful and patient, and were able to provide us with options to consider, as well as reasonable pricing for such an upscale product.

When we purchased our new home we had to use Buffkin for all of our flooring and bath surfaces. Depending on which staff member we worked with, they could be very helpful to no help at all. We had to have the installers back for several issues: uneven tile, unmatched tile, carpet pulls and carpet seams. It took a while, but in the end we were happy with all the surfaces except one carpeted room.

I had hired another contractor to handicapped a shower that was actually a hazard for my father to take a shower in. I had to hire another contractor to redo the shower for safety reasons. I selected Buffkin Tile to do the rework. They showed up on time, cleaned up after themselves, redid the plumbing (they said the plumbing was put in backward), jack hammered the floor up, put in a shower pan (the other contractor did not put in a shower pan), then did the tile work. The shower is a roll in shower, no tripping hazards like the other one. The handicap shower drains wonderfully. My father is so delighted with it. I would highly recommend Buffkin Tile to anyone, but especially if you need special needs, like a handicapped shower.

The installation went well. They did it in the time frame that was expected. Everything was fine. Two years later they came back out to make some repairs on a crack in the tile due to the house settling and they did this at no additional cost. The first time they were to come something came up, the owner called himself to apologize and to set up a new time.
