I think they are fine for doing maintenance stuff but too pricey for installs and stuff. They workers are skilled but they do try to sell you stuff you probably don't need. The workers are very polite and wear uniforms.

The last time they came out, it was a young guy who was trying to sell us everything in the world. There was something he didn't do and they had to send somebody else back the next day. It was minor and only took them 10 minutes to fix it. I talked to the second guy and told him the first guy said I need this and this and this.  The second guy said we didn't all that. I think they are fine for doing maintenance stuff but too pricey for installs and stuff.

The maintenance contract is a good price. They quoted me a price on duct cleaning because they do that as well, they wanted $2500 to do it. I got it done by another company, who did it well, for about $400. I haven't had any complaints with them. I haven't seen them do anything that didn't hold up. They are pretty responsive. They have one to two guys there that are more salesmen than mechanics.

I had the tech come out to my home in PSL and the tech who came out was such a wonderful young man and very respectful. He answered all of my questions and got my a/c back up and working again.

See attached letter that I sent to the president of the company which he chose to ignore. At first I was not sure if he was still president, but through FACEBOOK I have found him proudly displaying his "COMFORT EXPERTS " logo along with Justin Reynolds who would never give me his name but he is also on facebook. September 20, 2016 Mr. Robert C. Marcelle 133 Windemere Place Melbourne Beach, Florida 32951 Dear Mr. Marcelle: I am hoping that I am writing to the right person. The owner of Comfort Experts. I am a customer and have been since I moved to Florida 2 years ago. I have had the most terrible experience with Justin the Manager this week. And I am now afraid to call the office if I need something and more importantly, I worry about whether or not he will decide to send a tech to me or cancel the call on a whim. I WILL TRY TO MAKE THIS SHORT: I have a customer service contract, I lost A/C on Sunday night, got emergency service, Derek, made a quick repair but the A/C need to be sealed and Freon needed to be added the next day. I had a major Dr. appoint to remove knee staples. Asked if he could come right after that at 5 pm. (I should have had him come before I went to the Doc. but hindsight is 20/20 right.) Instead of 5 PM, he got here at 9 PM made the repair, (I sat in car with A/C for 3 hrs. with 3 cats) then the A/C broke again before he left and he had to come back in the morning. I begged him to please be here early. I had to sleep in a Hotel, board my 3 cats (temp was 94 degrees).Next morning, around 10:30 AM, I called to make sure Derek was at the house doing the repair. Customer Service said he was “out on an emergency call”. I lost it and got very upset, “Wasn’t I an emergency since Sunday?” told them I wanted to talk to Justin as soon as I got home from Hotel He called me and instead of giving me some sort of reassurance, told me off, was so condescending to me, called me all sorts of names. (Said I was insulting, disrespectful, presumptuous, and more), said he would not tolerate me talking to his staff the way I did. I could not believe it. I said I was going to deduct the Hotel bill from the Freon, so he said he was not sending the Tech to me! The story goes on and on. It was a horrible experience. I asked to talk to you. He told me that you no longer worked there. I asked to talk to the owner, he said he was the owner. He called be back later on, (he did send the Tech) and told me he was going to cancel my account. What kind of a Manger is this person? When I questioned him again about talking to “Craig” he said he spoke to Craig and you didn’t want to talk to me. My head was spinning and the temp was still 94 in the house. So if this is true, that you don’t want to talk to me, and I don’t hear from you within a week, then I have no other recourse but to cancel my service contract and leave Comfort Experts. And finally make a BBB report. If I do hear from you, maybe you can tell me how I can possibly continue a relationship with your company... I absolutely love the Technicians that come here. They are so well behaved and respectful and know what they are doing. But how can I get them here without contacting Customer Service Girls who hate me? My number is 772-571-6695 Sincerely, Barbara Fiore 105 Harborhill Drive Sebastian, FL, 32976

I am a newbe condo owner, therefore this was an experience.  I had signed up for their service club, which was recommended by the previous owner.  The office had called in advance to schedule their 2nd 6 mo checkup appointment.  (That I liked.)  The office called the day before to verify the appointment and also the morning of the appointment they called back to tell me who the service person was (Steve) and that he was on his way.  He arrived on time and went right to work.  After about an hour he sat down with me and explained some of the problems he had found and explained about the problems associated with living right near the ocean.  I knew the system was old and we also verified that it was also one of the oldest on this building.  I knew that it was going to need replaced when I purchased the condo, so the fall/winter season is the best time in Florida to do it.  He explained all the different types and advantages and disadvantages of all of them.  I knew which manufacture I wanted and I told him I wanted the best and most efficient model which would fit in my condo.  I also talked to him about air quality and he was very informative about that and gave me many different suggestions and what the approximate costs and payback costs.  We came to an agreement on what the cost of the job would be (a little more than what I wanted to pay but sometimes you get the value of what you pay for) and since I needed to get the cost into the calendar year, he found a program which had no payments for 12 months and no interest if paid back within that period.  That fit my budget.  He got with the condo maintenance supervisor and set up when things needed to be done.  The duct cleaning crew came a few days later (with the proper calls from the main office about arrival and who),  This was a big job since it didn't look as if it had ever been done in the 38 years the condo has stood.  They (Chris & Miguel) were polite, clean and kept me very informed of what they were doing.  The next day they came back, removed the unit form the roof (with the crane they had scheduled), installed the new one, removed the air handler from the condo unit and installed the new one, and they cleaned everything up after they were done.  There was a wiring harness that came with the electronic filtration system which was wrong and they told me someone would be back tomorrow to finish it.  They measured all the air vents so that replacements could be ordered.  The AC was functional when they left.  The office called the next day, telling when and who (Bob) would show up. Bob arrived on time: installed the electronic filter and explained how everything worked.

My neighbors were coming back to town, so I turned their a/c down to cool their place off.  The next morning I went to check their place and noticed it was still warm and the temp had not changed much.  I tried calling the a/c company that they had a card for, but the gentleman told me he would not be able to help because he was a small company.  I called Comfort Experts because they were recommended by another neighbor and within hours they had a crane, a new a/c and a crew getting it all done.

My neighbors came back during the repair and were very happy that they didn't have to sleep in a hot condo

after traveling all day.  I am very grateful for their willingness to help out right before a holiday and under the rush circumstances.

the21. The air monitoring device (Air Advice) was positioned in two rooms over the next several days and picked up on 9/22.  At that time I noted to the tech that the air monitoring device had a sticker attached that read "Calibration Due 7/2/2014".  The tech advised that it was not a problem and would have the air test results by 9/26.
From 9/22 to 11/17, I received only one call (10/20) from Comfort Experts.  During that same time period, I called Comfort Experts seven (7) times and each time was told I would receive a call back.  I also received the following information about the delays:
--frequent rains backed up service calls,
--"something" needed renewal (Air Advice subscription),
--the full monitoring report was not received,
--the air monitoring data was not reliable,
--the company was changing to another air monitoring device, and
--unknown delay in receiving the new air monitoring device,
On 11/17 I talked to Comfort Experts' office manager and requested a refund, which I received in the mail on 11/21
.
This review concerns the company's "indoor air monitoring service" only and not their HVAC maintenance service. This review is a condemnation of the owner and operations manager's customer service--that is, not assuring a proactive policy to keep the customer informed (by calling the customer and not waiting to receive a call from the customer) of delays.  I subsequently hired an indoor air quality monitoring service from Angie's List, and that service is still in progress.

I have a contract with them for free service on scheduled maintenance because I bought a new A/C unit last April 2013. The Service tech came and serviced my unit. He went over things to help make my A/C more efficient. Everything went well

$15,000

I purchased a building in mid 2009 and did a complete renovation including New heat and air conditioning system installation and two mini split systems later in that year.

After two years I replaced one mini split system. The system continually broke and repairs cost a few hundred dollars every time it sopped working, After 3 or four repairs I finally decided to replace the entire unit with a better quality system for $2,150 after only 2 years of age.

Over the course of the entire four years the air handler system continued to break down and leak destroying my hardwood floors.

The company claims it was unplugged...which is ridiculous! The PLUG was never plugged in by the installer.

Recently I found out that both condensers need to be replaced and after being analyzed by two AC companies the recommendation is the same; The air handler system was installed so badly that its almost impossible to change a filter. They also recommended replacing this system soon due to poor quality system and improper installation.

After spending approx. 13,000 for the original AC systems I now have to incur another $4,000 after less than four years of age.

Unlike their accusations I have serviced and maintained the units regularly after I stopped using Comfort Experts in 2011 and I have documentation and pictures to support. It baffles me how anyone can assume I did not maintain them, Just another example of the lack of excuse for any reason as to why this equipment failed, the mini split after 2 years and the 2 condensers after only 4 years of installation.

Response from Comfort Experts Usa Inc
"Comfort Experts has serviced many of Mrs. [removed member name] properties for a number of years (from 2005-2012.) It seems Mrs. [removed member name] has taken to the internet (years after the services were performed) because she was a close neighbor of our company’s owner, and is now involved in a personal dispute with him. Rather than make attempt to resolve any short-comings professionally she has decided to slander us online as part of a personal vendetta. In reference to the commercial property that is the bulk of her complaint; we did install the systems in 2009. Although we did perform a number of service calls on the referenced property Mrs [removed member name] was never charged for any of the work that was under warranty. In 4/2010 & 7/2011 she was charged a discounted commercial diagnostic rate of $ 89.00 for service calls that were caused by operator error. 4/2010 we were called out for a water leak, someone in the building had unplugged the condensate pump to the unit causing the system to leak. In 4/2010 someone had put the batteries into the thermostat remote the wrong way and could not get the temperature to adjust from the remote. 2/2012 we performed a coil pull and clean on one of the units evaporator coils. It had become impacted with dirt due to infrequent filter changes and a lack of maintenance. Mrs. [removed member name] was never charged for any work that was performed under her warranties, and declined our numerous recommendations to have her systems maintained in the manner recommended by the manufacturer of the equipment. Without proper maintenance & filter changes it is not uncommon for HVAC systems to fail, regardless of the installation. As these systems were installed per code specifications it is unlikely that their failure was a result of the installation by our company. If proper maintenance had been done on the systems she would likely not have to replace them so soon. As to the 05’ home that she has referenced, again, it is unlikely that a system & duct system would function properly for 9 years and then cause something as catastrophic as a ceiling collapse. As we have never been contacted regarding this and have no reference other than an 05’ install it is difficult to comment beyond speculation. As a company we stand behind our warranties and our work 100%. It is unfortunate that Mrs. [removed member name] cannot distinguish between her personal and professional life and has chosen this route. After a conversation with an Angie’s List representative we have been informed that the only way to remove a falsified review is to take legal action against the reviewer. Although this is a somewhat unfair practice we understand Angie’s Lists position on the matter and will be perusing legal action. In response to the information that was added by Mrs [member's name remove] on 4/29/14. My name is Jennifer Sea and I do in fact exist. I am more than a little confused as to why anyone would think I was a made up employee, but I have in fact worked at Comfort Experts for 4 years. If anyone is concerned that our company would manufacture a person to respond to an review I can be reached at 321-722-2111. The facts presented by our company are based on our service records and invoices from when Mrs [member's name remove] was a client of ours, not on personal feelings, and what was done afterwards is not being disputed by us."

Tech came over and spent 10 minutes looking at the unit and said it was a
bad motor and the price would be $800. $800 was a lot to spend
so I said I would call around. Another company would replace for under
$700 so I went with them. When the other company came out they did some
work and determined that the relay board was bad, not the motor. Final
price of close to $300. The Tech for comfort experts was quick in his
assesment and never found the root cause of the problem, would have cost
a bunch to fix and not actually corrected the issue. I won't be using
them again.
