Mister Sparky

I recently purchased this older home. I originally checked Angie's List as I have done on many occasions. In April I had many outlets & junction boxes replaced, a fan installed, recessed lighting and a circuit to the garage door installed. As they had done an excellent job , I called Mister Sparky again in May for the dryer breaker. Both times the Techs were professional and courteous. I received a written estimate on the spot and some of the minor repairs were completed that day. There were no hidden costs. I did obtain several estimates in April for the major work needed. While Mister Sparky's price was not the lowest it was fair. The worker's were punctual & neat. The office staff was a pleasure to deal with!. I have joined Mister Sparky's Power Club. I will be using them for all of my future electrical renovations & repairs.

Great! Bryan, our technician, arrived on time (actually a few minutes erly) and was wonderful ! We will definitely use them to other for electrical needs.

Inspection was thorough and written results were given to me before the technician left. A cost proposal will be emailed by tomorrow. Two minor immediate electrical items were fixed at an incremental cost beyond the "store front" value purchased.

He was very good, very thorough. He made some recommendations. Some of which I did act on and some I had to put on my list of things to do later. But he was very professional. There were some additional charges aside from the Big Deal I purchased because there were some options I chose. This was the first time I used Mister Sparky of Pompano Beach so I was a little shocked when he showed me their standard rates for different things. I would recommend this company.

Arrived on time. Very professional. Excellent work - no problems with his work. Cost is upfront and very transparent. Does a good job of explaining costs and what he has to do. Very accommodating. Have used him on multiple occasions.

I purchased a Big deal for Mister Sparky of Pompano Beach. I had several small electrical projects that they completed for me. They did a good job.

Office promptly and courteously scheduled service appointment and confirmed with email. On day of scheduled appointment, the technician called to reconfirm appointment and gave projected time of arrival. Technician arrived at scheduled time. Technician was pleasant, courteous and knowledgeable. He was quick in his work and very neat. He applied "booty covers " on his shoes before walking on carpets and tiles. It was a good experience. I would and have recommended Mister Sparky to friends and neighbors

He answered all my questions and was very punctual. He was thorough when he inspected the house. He went through pricing for all the future services I may need. I will definitely use them again for future services.

Excellent responsiveness. Knew the codes for everything. Fixed my new water heater's plug, replaced and added electrical sockets, and has attempted several times to find the correct size brass floor outlet to correct the one that I currently have.

When I called to make my appointment for the Big Deal purchase, I explained the problems that I was having with frequent power surges that set my house security alarm off and required resetting of all of my digital clocks. It was explained to me that before they install the surge protector, I should have FPL come out to see what was causing the problems. FPL found local area line interference that may have been the culprit and the frequency dropped off to nearly nothing. The appointment was then made to install the surge protector. The technician was prompt, professional, efficient and cleaned up quickly. He explained how it worked and also recommended a few actions for me to take in the future to improve the overall energy efficiency of my home.

Provided estimate at reasonable price over phone. Very professional.

Although this was awhile ago and i forgot to write the review, I took advantage of a Big Deal from angie's list, and got $299 worth of services for only $99....so i got all these things done for an additional $84. I've had several different electricians over the years but they have moved away or gone out of business..,.and I trusted the reviews in Angie's list which were very good. I was happy with the services I received; the electrician was prompt, courteous, professional, and seemed to know what he was doing. I would highly recommend Mister Sparky and i would call them for any electrical need.

I had an appointment for Friday but my scheduled changed so they accomodated me on standby for today. Brian was awesome. He showed up when promised and was very professional, explaining the work that needed to be done and how he was going to do it. He fixed both of my concerns and I was pleased with the work. I will definitely use him again and would not hesitate to recommend him to others.

Overall experience was good. Mister sparky responded to my call fast and service was great.

Company representative showed up at appointed time. Explained to me what he was going to do. When he was complete he explained how to check the surge protector to make sure it was working and also reviewed the safety survey to make sure we were aware of areas of concerns. Very well documented and explained. Company representative was very professional and knowledgeable.

They came and evaluated the job, offering to preform the service for 600.00. It was holiday season and I wanted to have it running for company we were expecting. Sounded like a lot of money, but i was eager to have it done and having found Sparky on Angies list I thought it must be a fair quote. Since then I have found that I paid nearly twice what the job should have been. They did do what appears to be a good job, but way too expensive. First time I used Angies list. Don't know if I will ever give it another try.

They did a great job with the instillation. They came out several times to insure it was done correctly. They were $500-$800 cheaper than the other companies I found. These are the only guys I will be using from now on.

I wasn't real happy with the surge protector they installed. I got the impression they would install a device outside the panel but they installed one inside of it so it couldn't be reset and I would have to call them to reset it so I wasn't very happy with what they provided.

I originally got a $99.00 inspection program from Mr Wireman but Mr Sparky took over responsibility for the deal.. I have been having problems with my electric so I took the deal... The appointment was made and since the other electrical contractor did not cover the electrical service there was a minor problem. Mr Sparky said they would honor the contract!! The appointment was for between 12n and 2pm.. Kevin Court showed up at 1pm with a big smile and a "Hello!". He has "people" skills and made me feel he knew what he was doing. After I told him the symptoms he knew it was a faulty neutral problem. He went right to the meter box and found the problem in less than 15 min.. Diagnosis???? I need a new meter box... It was corroded beyond repair. A few months ago, FPL put in a new smart meter but never informed me that the box was a mess....Kevin also found my relativly new gas hookup was not grounded.. The gas company never informed me it should be grounded for safety.....He also found my circuit breaker box had neutral and grounds mixed together........ All in all I feel he did an EXCELLENT job. He was at my home for four hours and never stopped or took a break. I must say that the cost was more than I wanted to spend but it had to be done and I feel confidant he made it right. And that is what we want, yes??

The electrical problem i had was fixed, Mister Sparky (Kevin) did a great job and it now works beautiful.

Services were not used and money was refunded.

The experience was great. It was the first time we had used Angie's List and we were very satisfied.
