Everything went great. I would use them again.

We were suddenly without hot water. Plumber checked out water heater, seemed ok - but then tested for electrical and there was no power. When he pulled the plug out of the outlet, it fizzled and we could see the outlet had browned out. He put everything back and said we would have to call an electrician. Checked on Angies and decided to try Mister Sparky - talked to a call center, eventually had a callback from the local Mister Sparky franchise. Agreed on next day appointment. Next day, Kevin Court called in advance and inquired about the problem - he advised his arrival in 30 minutes, arrived promptly and was very professional from start to finish. Diagnosed same problem, advised us he uses "straight forward pricing" - which is a chart that lists services and a corresponding price. We agreed and he was done within the hour, removing the old outlet, installing a new junction box and directly connecting the lead from the hot water heater to the box. Cleaned up, and also gave us some advice on an ancient and now out of code fuse box - the home belongs to a relative who recently passed away, and he let us know that if we intend to keep it, we should look into bringing the electrical supply to current safety and code. We would recommend Kevin in a flash - he was thorough and professional, did a great job.

Very fast and efficient. Got an appointment the same day. Roman was great.

He did everything okay. I purchased a Big Deal for an electrical inspection.

The electrician was honest and did not try to sell us a bill of good. Happy with the service would definitely call if need arises in the future.

My beef is that the technician made a point to try to upsell me on getting a new $2000 electrical panel. I get that it may not be an ideal setup, but its to code and I didn't care for the hard sell. In his defense, he caught on that he was making me uncomfortable and apologized for coming on strong, but none-the-less, I don't think I would use them again for a job. But I want to stress that I happy with the job they came to do.

My only complaint is the cost. I was cramped for time and did not question the price before they came. Had I been smart I would have asked prices on the phone before I made appointment.

The stuff Mister Sparky of Pompano Beach installed was really nice. I'm very much happy with what he did. I wish I had done it years ago. We're really happy with him. The price was pretty much as I expected. She honored the Big Deal, even though we used it after it was expired.

It was great at the time when they were here. I’ve had some electrical problems since and I really don’t know whether or not it has anything to do with what they did. They ran some wires for me and they left a big whole on the wall. They didn’t put a plate on it or anything. I had good interactions with them. I spent more for some supplies that were needed for what I had done. I would use them again if we were clear to begin with exactly how things were to be finished.

My local Mister Sparky team is wonderful. I trust them in my home and they do accurate, clean work. They provide a cost breakdown before any work begins. There are no hidden fees or add-on costs. I trust them with all of my electrical. Ask for Roman -- he is the best!

They showed up on time, they were polite, and professional, and did a very good job.

Prompt and friendly. Knowledgable and performed work as requested and in a timely manner. Suggested some work that later found out was not necessary, however, was not pushy or assertive. Good service

They did a great job. We are really happy. He took his time and made sure everything was perfect. The electrician was very professional and friendly and he left the place clean.

The service was okay. The technician was very respectful and helpful, but it was not as thorough as I thought it was going to be. What was done was not worth the price. I would probably hire them in the future for electrical work, but not this service.

It did not go well. They failed to show up at the scheduled time. They never rescheduled. They never refunded my money. I would not recommend them to anyone after this experience.

They did a very good job. He used shoe covers so that he didn't make a mess.

They have installed two light fixtures for me and did a beautiful job!

This company is is awesome. This was by far the best experience I have had with an Angies List business. They were early, upfront with all costs (before performing the work), and very knowledgeable. Everything is working very well. I would definitely call on them again in the future. Thanks so much for a great experience!

I had Mr Sparky at my home to install and replace electrical outlets, as well as review my current circuit breaker. That was about a year ago. One of the outlets that I requested to be replaced was a floor outlet. It had been left without a floor plate, when the flooring was changed. Mr Sparky came over a couple of times after that with what he thought would fit. This outlet was in a poured concrete floor so he needed the exact size. He called me about a month ago and said he thought he had found the right plate. He was working with another electrician who still had parts from many years ago. He checked with him, and this fellow gave him the plate. Mr Sparky came over the next available day, and within minutes installed the outlet. Said no charge, since it took a year to find the plate. And he didn't pay for it either. To me , this is an example of going above and beyond for service. Yes, I will use him again, as I do TRUST him.

The reason I called Mister Sparky was 100% due to all the positive reviews. However, I decided not to move forward with them because the quote they gave me was DOUBLE the amount of what several other electricians were quoting me for the exact same job. I think it's important to point this out because we use this site not only for quality and service but hopefully to be warned of price gauging. Because the quote was so outrageously high, I don't ever plan on calling them again.

Everything was fixed the way I wanted it. As mentioned this was a list of many items and projects to fix or add. The did a Great job.

Replacing the burned out lightbulbs in 20 foot ceilings is very hard, so I called Mr Sparky to do it for me. I actually decided to replace the fixtures with a complete unit that contains an LED light. They are very nice, but you can get them at Home Depot for 30.00 each. They charged a huge markup on the lights, and although the ceilings were high, and they needed 2 guys (one to spot the ladder), the electrician was able to replace them in about half an hour with his 14 foot A frame ladder. I am satisfied with the work, but I think the price is quite high. I am also dissappointed that I didn't realize (until later) that the Angie's List deal I paid for ($58 for $116 worth of work) was also to include a free home electrical inspection. That was not offered to me and was not completed. I might not call them again if I needed service due to their pricing.

The contractor arrived on time, got yo work, installed the surge protection in about 1 hour and explained how it worked. They did a fine job.
