I was getting a crackling/sparking noise when I turned on my kitchen light switch and wanted to make sure it was nothing major. Kevin, the electrician who came, was on time, introduced himself, and immediately went to work. He was efficient and diagnosed the problem in the high hat connection. He checked to make sure my panel was correct and the outside wires coming in. All-in-al, he had the answer in about 1/2 hour and I was on my way to work, feeling much better about the safety of my house. I would definitely recommend Mister Sparky and would also feel very comfortable about using them in the future.

Mister Sparky of Pompano Beach was very highly rated on Angie's List. A home inspector alerted us to the fact that our swimming pool was not properly bonedd to the pool pump. As a result, I called Mister Sparky to review the situation and provide me with an estimate. Kevin arrived as scheduled and explained the situation to me. He personally had extensive experience working with installations and repairs of electrical circuits for pools. He quickly confirmed the lack of proper electrical bonding and the risks associated with such. He gave me a detailed estimate for the repair and was scheduled to complete the job a few days later. Kevin personally returned to do the work. He arrived on time and worked diligently to complete the job which involved considerable effort. He then corrected a problem with a couple of problems he had identified with outdoor and indoor circuit breakers. The total job took less than 4 hours. When he presented the final paperwork for signature and payment, Kevin explained that one item on the estimate did NOT need to be completed as he found proper electrical bonding of the pool ladder to the pool frame, so he reduced the overall bill by approximately $320! What a pleasant surprise to find such an honest professional! I will use Mister Sparky of Pompano Beach for future needs!

We decided to have an inground pool installed in our home in Sunrise which was built in 1964. The pool company informed us that our electrical box outside could not support the pool pump/heater. We searched Angieslist and found Mr. Sparky. We called, set up and appointment for a date convenient for us. The person showed up at the exact scheduled appointment time, and was extremely nice and professional. He gave us a quote of what we would need which entailed replacing our old fuse box inside with a breaker box. We agreed on a price and set a date. They told us in advance that it would be an all day job. The service crew showed up at the time that we were told and they went to work. The two guys were super professional and took precautions to take care of our house while they were doing the work. They finished up and explained everything to us, and even looked at a switch that we were having trouble with. We asked about a pig tail for the generator and they gave us an immediate quote on that. We will definitely use Mr. Sparky again!

. They will also let you know of anything else wrong with what you have. I'd have this company back anytime and I highly recommend them.

This experience went great. However, I had another experience that gave me an alternative view of them.

The purchase of the coupon expired. They gave me a lot of push-back. They just told me to call Angie's List and that it was between you and them; not us. I don't feel that I should not have lost my initial investment. I had work done previously by them and I expected to have the same positive experience as before. However, this was not the case. It is unfortunate. We need the work done, and now I want to look elsewhere.

Ramon, the service technician was extremely professional and helpful. After making several recommendations we are planing to replace some of the items, which he proposed. He pointed out areas where we had additional risk because of some connections by the previous owner, which are now in violation of the current code. I met with one of the owners, Deena in their offices and have scheduled additional work which will begin next week. They scored al necessary permitting in advance and kept me informed of their progress. They honored a Angie's list coupon and offered reductions for future work

He gave us a proper estimate and put out the breaker box. Once the inspector comes out we will give him the money. It is a family run business. I would definitely recommend them.

They never pulled a permit for work. Workmanship is lousy. Light switches are falling out of wall and when you turn switch on, it sounds like its going to explode. I would never use them again, nor would I recommend them to anyone.

From the lady who took my call to the repairman, Maurice, the service was exceptional. Maurice explained the pricing so there were no surprises later. He explained everything he was doing and even gave tips how I could check things on my own.

Maurice came and did an excellent job. I'll be hiring him again soon to redo all of our outlets around the house. He came to do an initial inspection that our home inspector quoted us would be $800-$1000 tops an when Maurice was done he came back with a $5800 quote. Reason for this was the home inspector didn't do their job properly and actually created a very unsafe situation in our home. Well, I trusted Maurice and my wife and I couldn't be happier for it. He was honest, intelligent, hard working and very patient. He basically re-wired our whole house and gave is a lot of information for future tune ups and upgrades. He even found huge code violations and handyman screw ups that he fixed and cleaned up. It was a three day job done in two. Thanks Mr sparky and thank you Maurice.

It's one of those things when you pay to have the service done and inevitably, they're going to find more work that needed to be done. They did good work. They were great guys. I thought their pricing was a bit higher than is available elsewhere in town. I wasn't dissatisfied with their service. They were very responsive. I would probably not use them again.

Made the appointment with Deena - the office manager. Very pleasant and competent. Emailed me a day prior of the expected arrival date as a reminder to be home. Kevin, the serviceman, arrived promptly within the time limits established by Deena. Kevin is very clean in his work and extremely thorough.- true professional who takes pride in his work. He spent about two hours to complete the jobs. I am extremely satisfied with the caliber of the work and price appeared quite reasonable. If you wish to have the job done right with a sense of peace of mind concerning any electrical issue you would have then I recommend Mister Sparky

It went extremely well. When he left, my kitchen was cleaner than when he arrived. He removed the old lighting fixtures, and he did patch work over the holes where the old lighting had been and where the new wires had to be pulled. Basically all I have to do is paint the ceiling and the inside of what was the "dome". He did a terrific job installing the new track lighting.

Our AC wasn't working over the holiday weekend. On tuesday noticed neither was the dishwasher, stove and dryer. Needed an electrician and called Mr Sparky before 8AM. They were here before 8:30 AM!!!. Diagnosis: the problem was with FPL feed. Adriel gave me FPL's number and stayed with me while I called to make sure I got through FPL's voice mail system and get them to come out and fix it, Told me what to say and made sure help was on the way. Even took my Angies list coupon. Thank you.

They were very good and it was well worth the price. They were professional and did not leave a mess.

The Big Deal did not line up with our availability and we couldn't get it scheduled to meet both of schedules.

Very professional, showed up at the scheduled time, did the job as we needed.

When he showed up I told him what I was looking for and he took down some notes. He said he would get back to me but he never did. I never really followed up with him but the service was disappointing.

They were excellent! Didn't push me for anything else to be done.

We did not hire them because of a clause in their contract.
